A list of puns related to "Ceramic armor"
##We have made previous posts in regards to what a group of us do over on the Demonβs Souls Discord server!
To reiterate, we are a group who raise money for charities, and we do this using DeS & itβs servers as our means to operate. A $5 (or currency equivalent) donation to a charity of your own choosing will get you the 26 ceramic coins from us, allowing access to the rusted key; unlocking the door in 1-3 and thus the Penetrator Armor!
Itβs simple; all that is required from you is a screenshot of the receipt as proof of your donation; and then once checked itβs yours! we drop the coins at Sparkly the Crow in your world; stopping them from becoming broken! To contact us, you can find us either on the Discord and/or you can message me here! (we will never ask for personal details)
We have now raised over $11,000 for charities all over the world, and with your added support too we know we can keep this figure increasing! As usual, we are happy to answer any questions you may have, either below or in DMs - theyβre open!

As title suggests, just seems bizarre that a material that in everyday life seems quite fragile can stop a bullet...
I'm new to this Body armor and tactical gear thing and I am wondering if you guys have any recommendations on some affordable ceramic plates and some good side plates? and maybe a plate carrier. Thank you! Also, I'm curious Ceramic or Steel??
Today, non-composite vehicular armor seems to primarily come in 3 forms: steel, aluminum, and titanium. Of these three, high-hardness steel lies on the heavier end of the spectrum and seems to be fairly common, even though tanks no longer rely primarily on RHA. Most light armored vehicles use aluminum, but there are some that use titanium (such as aircraft) and some that use both or all three. I used to believe that every modern AFV used (mostly ceramic) composite armor--but obviously that's not the case, so I have some questions about non-composite armor protection.
The Sheridan uses an aluminum hull and a steel turret. The A-10 Thunderbolt II uses titanium protection for its pilot. What factors do designers have to take into account when choosing which kind of material to use? For example, since the Thunderbolt is an aircraft, why not just use lighter aluminum armor like that found on ground AFVs?
Compared with composites, as well as titanium and aluminum, steel is the oldest type of vehicle armor. How do modern steel armors compare with WWII and early Cold-War era Rolled Homogenous Armor, in terms of resiliency? Many AFVs meant for high-intensity conflict still use a lot of steel (albeit supplemented by other systems).
I wonder how a WWII tank (i.e sherman) constructed with contemporary steel armor and modern construction techniques would perform. Is there some sort of equivalency table? (e.g 20mm of modern MIL-SPEC steel = 30mm WWII era RHA)
Titanium armor appears to be the rarest of the three. Why is that the case when it seems to be stronger than aluminum but still lighter than steel?
Can we make a simple list of pros and cons between the three types?
I know diamonds and sapphires are very very hard and brittle, much like ceramics, but do they have good properties for such an application? It is quite easy to use extrusion methods to create large sheets of even thickness sapphire, often used for bulletproof windows, so is it good for use on tanks too?

What pair of plates are poly/ceramic level 4, NIJ, and actually multistrike capable?
Watch the tutorial to better understand how it works. (It's really simple) https://youtu.be/o_oD4S9sweU
First Method: Have your friend drop X amount of Ceramic Coins to the crow (just in case, we let the crow finish his dialogue before dropping the coins) in YOUR game and (once the crow says "Sparkly, happy, happy!"). have him Save and Exit the game. Wait a few seconds then you must also Save and Exit Game. Once you come back, the amount of coins your friend dropped will be at the bottom of the tree. Maximum amount that can be duped at once is 25. Any amount over that will just result in the crow dropping the Rusted Key.
Second Method (fastest way to get the armor if you don't care about having 26 coins/dropping coins for someone else in the future): follow the first method but have your friend drop 26 coins instead. You'll instantly get the Rusted Key.
PS, from what we've tried, you cannot dupe ceramic coins once you own the Rusted Key. The crow will not say "Sparkly, happy, happy" anymore therefore he will not give you anything even if your friend, as a Blue Phantom, drops ceramic coins by the tree. So, if you want to help other people get the key, you must dupe the coins first. It takes 3 times: your friend joins, drops 25, Save&Exit then you Save&Exit, he comes back, drops 1 coin, once again, both of you save and exit and you'll now be at 26 coins. He then comes back one last time and drops 26 at once in order for the crow to give you the Rusted Key. You'll then have 26 Ceramic Coins and the Rusted Key.
Method still works post update
11/25/2020 and it still works Make sure to exhaust all of the crow's dialogue!

Currently, there are a couple of items such as rubies, studded armor, horse saddles and quivers that were removed from the game.
What if we pay homage to these items by making them exist on ceramic shards? That's it.
I recently bought a Crye SPC and want to know what plates I should get for it. I found these but my only concern is the sun beating directly down on the plate and dirt tearing up the plate. Is this a stupid concern? If yβall have any recommendations for what plates to get in this situation let me know. Thanks for your time.
Figured out how to dupe ceramic coins. Might be the first to do so?
I guess I'll post it. Enjoy. https://youtu.be/o_oD4S9sweU
