Note: Avoid using Microsoft (Outlook, Live, Hotmail, etc.) email addresses, we can't deliver emails to them at the moment.
Update 1: We are currently experiencing issues and emails are not being delivered, we are looking into it.
Update 2: We are still not sure about the cause, maybe network issues out of our control, but it seems some emails are slowly trickling through and are being sent, so sit tight and wait for a bit, it seems they will eventually be sent, I hope. We still can't send emails to Microsoft addresses, but that's a different issue.
Update 3: Email delivery is back to normal.

Thanks, everyone!
hi, CRT looks like the best but im looking for a site with rare TV torrents (60s or 90s or whatever) i have proofs if you're interested! thank you :)
A friend of mine and I have a friendly debate running... He is convinced that CRTs can and will make a comeback due to their superior image quality. My stance is nobody wants anything that heavy and large on their desk anymore. Anyone able to prove either of us right orΒ wrong?
by SternβGerlach experiment, we know that electrons haas two spin number. But when we put magnet near cathode ray tube, we dont see two paths as stern-gerlach experiment. Why? dont electrons in cathode ray tube have spin number?
Hey, wondering if anyone has a spare invite for Cathode Ray Tube, I've been active on TL for about a year and can post my ratio proof. Thanks!
I never owned a TV in my adult life, I never really needed it. Now I'm starting to think of getting one in a near future, and I think I'm going to buy an old fat cathode ray tube. Why? Because this kind of TV hits the strongest nostalgia string in my heart: small, distorted screen, vintage 90s aesthetics, Famicom console plugged in, perfectly placed in the corner of the room, so the back wouldn't take too much space. Even if it's off, it's still an element of vintage design and can serve as a shelf - you can put things on the top.
I would love to watch modern Netflix shows on such vintage screen - it would be like taking analog photos off a drone. Or listening to Billie Eilish on vinyl.
For some reason when I use the abbreviation for cathode ray tube, the post gets deleted, heh.
Please PM 2x Ratio proof and 2x profile links.
Gone! Thanks for playing

Long form electronics. Fans of earlier Autechre, Plastikman, The Black Dog, Richard H Kirk and Bola will dig this.

Precisely what electronic is controlling the deflection coil in a cathode ray tube? What specifically directs it to move across the screen then drop down a little and move across again? I get what powers it and the theory of how magnetic fields can move electrons, but my but my question is what is directing this specific movement of directions? Is it a circuitboard? If so, what specifically does the circuitboard look like to model these directions to a magnetic coil? Just saying it is circuits does not explain the specific movement directions Thanks!
