Canadian Armed Forces deployed to speed up vaccinations only in Quebec - still not a National Public Health Emergency

Deployed since Jan. 3, most soldiers assigned to data entry, general assistance

>Kim Fuller also got her third dose on Sunday. She believes military aid is necessary and reflects the gravity of the situation.
>
>"Any help that we can have to have better coordination and a smooth running of things means that more people will come out and [get their third dose]," she said.

Ontario municipalities are overwhelmed by the demand for vaccines they are prioritizing vaccinations and boosters doses are no longer being offered to everyone.

Your average Canadian understands the gravity of the situation more than Trudeau.

Where is Trudeau in all of this? Pushing the War of Fear of the Unvaccinated! Where is this fictional army of radical anti-vaxxers hiding? In the long lineups for vaccines?

How did Afghanistan influence or change the Armed Forces or its image within Canadian society?

Did the war bring more eyeballs on the Canadian military?

I remember some books I read over years that mention how Canadian leadership felt deploying to Afghanistan, specifically Kandahar would help put a new image on the Armed Forces to transition from simply being seen as a peacekeeping force to a warfighting force. Just curious about thoughts.

Are there any particular senior officers now who notably served 10-15 years ago in Kandahar? Are significant battles in that province forever embedded n the history of some units?

Any documentaries or films that depict the war from Canadian perspective?

Quote your source and provide a link, but make sure the info you provide is current (within a couple of years). But, it is strongly suggested you see points 1-3 above.

  4. Please do not send PM's to people answering your questions. Conversely, don't ask for PM's from people posting questions. Ask your questions, give answers in these threads, for all to see. We can't see your PM's, and someone lurking may be looking for the same answer/question. If the questions are too "sensitive," then use a throwaway, or save it for the MCC Interview. Offenders will be reported to the Mods, and potentially banned from participating in these threads.
