Broken Plurals in MSA or Masri

There are 8 plural patterns for Broken plurals. Is there any specific/helpful way to determine which patterns apply to which words, or is it just a matter of memorizing the pattern that every word takes?

Thanks!

Broken plural forms

Hey my friends. Maybe you can help me out with something. Iโ€˜m just trying to take a deeper look into the broken/irregular plurals of Arabic nouns and adjectives and I came across the information that they are grouped into 25 species in regards to how they form.

However I wasnโ€˜t able to obtain a list or table of them so far. Has anybody an idea where to find one?

Broken plurals act as feminine singulars, except when they don't, but when is that generally the case?

The following Arabic textbook explains that "broken plurals are treated grammatically as feminine singulars," which means that they require matching adjectives to be in the feminine singular. For example, the noun ูƒูุชูุจูŒ (kutubun) matches the adjective ู‚ูŽูŠู‘ูู…ูŽุฉูŒ (qayyimatun) in case, number, gender, and definiteness, as opposed to matching ู‚ูŽูŠู‘ูู…ูŽุงุชูŒ (qayyimฤtun) or ู‚ูŽูŠู‘ูู…ููˆู†ูŽ (qayyimลซna), so I should say ูƒูุชูุจูŒ ู‚ูŽูŠู‘ูู…ูŽุฉูŒ to say the Arabic equivalent of valuable books. I understand this much, but I'm confused about which sorts of nouns I should and shouldn't treat as feminine singulars.

The same textbook suggests that broken plurals function as feminine singulars "unless they refer to male persons, when they are treated as masculine plurals (or to female persons, when they are treated as feminine plurals)." I don't understand what it's trying to say with this sentence. Does it mean to say that excepted broken plurals need to refer to exclusively to one gender, or do they need to refer exclusively to one gender and also be treated as a plural of that gender in the plural form? Does this mean that gender-exclusive singular nouns exist that aren't gender-exclusive in the plural? How am I supposed to interpret this explanation? Which example words fit into this category?

The textbook suggests that the plural of man, ุฑูุฌูŽุงู„ูŒ (rijฤlun), can take a sound plural adjective (instead of a feminine singular adjective) because it refers exclusively to males. So, I can say ุฑูุฌูŽุงู„ูŒ ู…ูุคู’ู…ูู†ููˆู†ูŽ (rijฤlun mu'minลซna) to convey the Arabic equivalent of believing men, whereas I don't say ุฑูุฌูŽุงู„ูŒ ู…ูุคู’ู…ูู†ูŽุฉูŒ (rijฤlun mu'minatun), as I would have to do with broken plurals that function grammatically as feminine singulars. I understand that ุฑูุฌูŽุงู„ูŒ (rijฤlun) refers to males because its meaning is men, but what about nouns with less obvious male-exclusive meanings? For example, the textbook also suggests that the plural of servant, ุนูุจูŽุงุฏูŒ ('ibฤdun), can take a sound plural adjective (instead of a feminine singular adjective) because it refers exclusively to males, but servants have been male and female throughout Arabic history, so I don't understand why ุนูุจูŽุงุฏูŒ ('ibฤdun) refers exclusively to males. Why does ุนูุจูŽุงุฏูŒ ('ibฤdun) belong to the category of broken plurals that refer to males?

I'm also confused about the textbook's suggestion that the same reasoning applies to broken plural

Revisiting "what is taking AUTHOR NAME so long to write their next book" three years later...

So, a few things.

First, it is impossible to write this kind of post without it being self-promoy, since it's about my writing, so I will just put all of that in a comment below instead of in this piece.

Second, this is not in any way related to the current post about this topic; I had already been planning this for today (which you will understand why in the first sentence).

Finally, I normally write these posts, give them a few days, and edit them before posting. I've decided against that this time, and am posting the first draft without me so much as re-reading it. I wept writing this essay, and I've decided I wanted this to be read as raw as it feels. So this is going to be rougher than usual, as a stream-of-consciousness (as all of my first drafts are) and I wanted you to know it was deliberate.

Edit: have a cookie for dad today. He loved sweets.

---

Revisiting "what is taking AUTHOR NAME so long to write their next book" three years later...

Three years ago today, my sister-in-law called me to say, "Krista, you gotta come home. It's your father." Thus began an overnight cross-Canada flight, airports crowded with university students heading home for Christmas, landing to switch planes for the second time, only finding out I didn't make it...and I still had to keep flying, and then drive three plus in the dark along an isolated highway filled with moose at the end. As I broke down sobbing in the Halifax airport, strangers hugged me, comforted me, patted my shoulder, whispered, "I'm so sorry," and were heard calling their own parents to tell them they loved them.

And, through all of that, I had no idea in the days following, those strangers were going to be significantly kinder than some of the people who called themselves my "fans."

Today, I find myself thinking a lot about parasocial relationships. If you don't know what that is, they're basically a one-sided relationship where one person knows a lot about the other and the other person knows little to nothing about them (or even their existence). For example, I'm in a parasocial relationship with Angelina Jolie. I know plenty about her; she doesn't know I exist. Many of us are in parasocial relationships with authors, celebrities, and internet personalities.

A few weeks after Dad died, I wrote a rather raw post called, "A rant about "what is taking AUTHOR NAME so long to write their next book". (link: [https://www.reddit.com/r/Fantasy/comments/apo847/a_rant_about_what_is_taking_

SERIOUS: This subreddit needs to understand what a "dad joke" really means.

I don't want to step on anybody's toes here, but the amount of non-dad jokes here in this subreddit really annoys me. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.

Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Main Pokemon of Top 100 Players -- December 24th

FIRST: I'm not saying Dragonite is OP with that tier list, just that everyone is playing him. Yellow Barney is fun, probably not broken. I keep the tiers stationary and do not move Pokemon around them or rename them based on outlier situations such as these. So is Dragonite broken? Probably not. Is it bad that seemingly every game has a Dragonite on each team? Kinda, yeah. Does it make Dragonite overcentralizing? I guess so. Is that Problematic? Technically, though not necessarily because he is or is not broken.

Hey everyone, I'm baking a cake and getting ready to drive off to see my family so this is going to be...shorter than it could be. Yeah, shorter than it could be (people keep stealing my "play with excel" time). As always, a Pokemon is considered a main if the player playing it did so as a plurality of their last 10 games. This is representative of the high level meta and not six people fumbling around the game for the first time so please do not take these numbers as gospel.

So here is the tier list, and here are the numbers as of 10:30 AM PST on Friday, December 24th, with changes from the last update in parenthesis:

  • Dragonite -- 19 (NEW)
  • Lucario -- 15 (-1.5)
  • Eldegoss -- 10.33 (+1.33)
  • Wigglytuff -- 9 (-3)
  • Mr. Mime -- 7 (+2)
  • Cinderace -- 6 (+4.5)
  • Pikachu -- 6 (+1.5)
  • Venusaur -- 4.33 (-7.67)
  • Greedent -- 4 (-2)
  • Talonflame -- 4 (-2.5)
  • Tsareena -- 4 (-3)
  • Zeraora -- 3 (+1)
  • Blastoise -- 2 (+1.5)
  • Blissey -- 2 (0)
  • Slowbro -- 2 (0)
  • Gardevior -- 1 (-4.5)
  • Sylveon -- 1 (+1)
  • Snorlax -- 0.33 (-0.17)

Absol (-2), Charizard, Cramorant (-1.5), Crustle, Decidueye, Garchomp, Gengar, Greninja (-3), Machamp, Mamoswine, Ninetails (-1) all sit at 0.

D R A G O N I T E

>Dragonite is here and clearly us lowly normal players are not the only ones rabidly foaming at the mouth to play yellow barney (I wouldn't know...not enough coins and haven't had the time to play in a week). Drowned Folk aren't bound to sea creatures, but to...

Drowned Folk aren't bound to sea creatures, but to Dead Gods, A'ctelios Salash style.

Yes, I know it sounds ludicrous, but bear with me. I'll explain everything in a systematic fashion. I made this connection when Luan's chapter first came out, but was too busy at the time to comment on it. That being said, I haven't seen anyone talk about this in the fandom, so here goes. I'll begin by summarizing the traits and characteristics we've seen of Dead Gods, and then compare them to the Volume 8 knowledge we have of Drowned Folk.

First, let's differentiate between the six Dead Gods and the rest:

Creation of new Gods

Creating a God is relatively easy: Pawn explicitly created a God in just a single day, without any class: (Ch. 2.31).

>It was just for a second. It was only a hope, the small desire of one who had never known he wanted it. But for one moment, Pawn wished it were all true. And in that moment, he believed.

>And as he looked up, the Antinium heard the whisper. It came out of his heart, and then Pawn heard the voice in his mind.

>[Acolyte Class Obtained!]

>[Acolyte Level 1!]

>[Skill โ€“ Prayer Obtained!]

> Pawn believed, and he hoped, and that was enough. It was enough to dream of salvation.

>And then there were Gods. Or at least, one.

Having said that, if it's so simple to create a new God - just needing true, unadulterated belief - you'd expect there to have been countless Gods back when people still believed in them! Why have we seen only six?

The Dead Gods are shadows

The answer is that the six we've seen are the most powerful of the Dead Gods, but there are countless of them. They're what a world-class Named Adventurer is compared to a six-year old who just picked up a wooden sword. The Dead Gods are dead, and severely injured: these six are simply the ones who have managed to recover enough to be more than mere shadows.

Yes, shadows! Let's look at descriptions of the weaker Dead Gods from the world of the dead: (Ch. 8.11 E)

>Except there were shadows. Shadows, without light. They seemed to gather and disperse at the edges of her โ€˜sightโ€™.

>โ€œYes, there are more like that one. Weaker, though. They wonโ€™t intrude so long as he guards us. Come on.โ€

and about Kasinga, the Dead God who rules over the Land of the Dead: (Ch. 8.11 E)

>โ€œAsk your pursuer. She has too much power, here. The guardian chased

We're M.A. Carrick, authors of the Rook & Rose Trilogy, AMA (AUA?)

Hi everyone, weโ€™re M.A. Carrick! And no, weโ€™re not speaking in the royal plural; weโ€™re two authors, Marie Brennan and Alyc Helms, writing under a joint pseudonym. (Does that make this an AUA instead of an AMA?)

We just published the second book of our Rook and Rose epic fantasy trilogy, The Liarโ€™s Knot (sequel to The Mask of Mirrors ), and itโ€™s just as full of con artists, crime lords, masked vigilantes, political intrigue, capers, banter, divination, nightmare monsters, and dancing as its predecessor -- this time with the addition of some cats! The series grew out of a tabletop RPG that Alyc GMโ€™d and Marie was a player in, and it contains all the chewy, deep worldbuilding youโ€™d expect from two anthropologists who canโ€™t even write a bit of game fic without diving headfirst into the underpinnings of the setting. You can find out lots more about our collaboration and the story at www.macarrick.com, and even lay a divinatory pattern for yourself using the widget on our site!

Marie has written novels about Victorian lady scientists studying dragons, faeries manipulating English history, fragments of broken worlds glomming together into a strange patchwork reality, and Japanese yokai. If you want to know more about her fiction, game writing, or Patreon, you can find that at her website, www.swantower.com.

Alyc is the author of the Adventures of Mr. Mystic series, which is a strange little mashup of the pulp adventure and xianxia genres, and is, as Marie's cover blurb attests, "A hell of a lot of fun." They can be found at www.alychelms.com.

Because Marie is a night owl and Alyc is a morning fox, the latter is the one putting up this post, but weโ€™ll both be around all day to answer questions. To make up for her late start in replying, Marie will link to one of her photographs along with her answer to each question!

As is traditional, you can ask us about anything: not just our writing but RPGs, photography, pets, anthropology, or whatever else suits your fancy. Spoilery questions for both The Mask of Mirrors and The Liarโ€™s Knot are fine, but please use Redditโ€™s spoiler-bar feature to hide them; in a story thatโ€™s such a layer cake of intrigue and lies, we donโ€™t want to pull the mask off too soon!

Just because it's a joke, doesn't mean it's a dad joke

Alot of great jokes get posted here! However just because you have a joke, doesn't mean it's a dad joke.

THIS IS NOT ABOUT NSFW, THIS IS ABOUT LONG JOKES, BLONDE JOKES, SEXUAL JOKES, KNOCK KNOCK JOKES, POLITICAL JOKES, ETC BEING POSTED IN A DAD JOKE SUB

Try telling these sexual jokes that get posted here, to your kid and see how your spouse likes it.. if that goes well, Try telling one of your friends kid about your sex life being like Coca cola, first it was normal, than light and now zero , and see if the parents are OK with you telling their kid the "dad joke"

I'm not even referencing the NSFW, I'm saying Dad jokes are corny, and sometimes painful, not sexual

So check out r/jokes for all types of jokes

r/unclejokes for dirty jokes

r/3amjokes for real weird and alot of OC

r/cleandadjokes If your really sick of seeing not dad jokes in r/dadjokes

Punchline !

Edit: this is not a post about NSFW , This is about jokes, knock knock jokes, blonde jokes, political jokes etc being posted in a dad joke sub

TWoP Recap: ROL S1E9

Unedited; questionable language

Hiyooo! Posting the rest of season 1 recaps this weekend. Enjoy!

Previously: Blow-Job Brandi made quite an impression on Bret, everyone hated Lacey, Heather got Bret's NAME TATTOOOED on her NECK and was rightfully called a dumb bitch, and Sam got the mercy kill. Four ladies remain, and they inexplicably still totally want to be Bret Michaels's girlfriend.

It is morning, and the girls awake. I think I have the same PJ's as Brandi M.! Strippers: They're just like us. Well, except for Heather. Unless you have seen me hair-spraying my bangs while they're still on the curling iron and caught a glimpse of my neck, upon which you found a nice, colorful slice of cherry pie. Whatever, I was drunk and couldn't actually remember any of the names of the guys in Warrant. Heather sings, "Cause I'm rockin' my man on my neck!" That is the song Britney sang right before they hauled her off to mental lockdown. There was actually a little elf on her neck, though, in that case. Lacey tells us that, with four girls left in the house, it's two on two: her and Heather against Jes and Brandi. Brandi burps and farts and is immature, so she's the next target, according to Lacey. Dr. Oz told me that we pass a liter of gas a day! Frankly, I think Brandi is the healthiest one of the bunch for letting it all out. Maybe Lacey's built-up farts cause her to act the way she does. One day she'll fart for thirteen minutes straight and emerge nice as can be.

Big John delivers Bret Mail. Brandi reads it aloud, which is like spending a day in a third-grade classroom. It's almost as if we're volunteering! Can we use this as a tax write-off? In any case, the Bret Mail says this: "Good morning to my final four / Pack your bags it's time to tour / I've got a gig in the city of sin / But when we get back someone goes home again." That's right, it's Vegas, baby! The girls pack and ride in a limo to Bret's sweet tour bus. He greets them with both nipples blazing. I almost want to buy him a training bra right now. Rock stars get tuna sandwiches on their sweet-ass buses. Hell yeah! Rock n' roooooollllllllllll! Bret interviews that, although he's gotten to know these four ladies on an intimate level, they haven't seen "rock star" Bret yet. Well, invent a time machine and they'll have the opportunity to do so. It's important for Bret to gauge how these girls will deal with the rock n' roll experience. How they deal with everything, one presumes: by getting drunk and ca

Am I just going to have to accept thisโ€ฆ.

Salam sisters I feel extremely petty to get upset over the hoor al ayn and polygamy thing. I know itโ€™s stupid but it completely demotivates me to get married at all. Why is it fair that Muslim men make fun of us and rub it in our faces that they can get 4 wives in this world. Ever since I was on Twitter seeing โ€œtraditional Muslim menโ€ talking about how men can never be in love with one women and that theyโ€™ll always want multiple partners I can never look at men the same way again. All that talk about loyalty and relationships is useless to me now because apparently men can never love one women and need a supply of multiple partners whereas I thought Allah created humans in pairs only, but I guess itโ€™s not true since he allowed polygamy and also allowed men to have multiple partners in Jannah too..now I never even want to think about getting married after learning this.. And on the hooris subject some People say that hooris is plural and it means โ€œmale and femaleโ€ but most scholars say itโ€™s not because of the way the hoors are described..so even If I were to believe hoors are males Iโ€™d be cursed and called kufar for believing โ€œfabricated versesโ€ that are not 100% true. Almost every scholar says that Muslim women will only get their earthly husband and she will have the jealousy removed out of her like brainwash to be okay with her husband intercoursing with many women. It sounds really cucked to me. Iโ€™m sorry for my use of language but I have searched an searched for answers and have tried to understand but everyone especially male scholars completely ridicule women when they ask if they can be given male hoors or just only have their husband in Jannah, they ridicule the questions we ask and they donโ€™t know the pain some sisters feel when they hear these things. They say women are emotional but wouldnt you be to if you found out your partner was with 72 other mistresses in heaven and the whole life you lived with him on earth would be for nothing an you wouldnโ€™t even have the will to stop it and itโ€™ll just be like that for eternity. All the pain that Muslim women go through in this life of covering up,dealing with the hardship of society, motherhood etc only to just have this in the endโ€ฆor canโ€™t even be given an equal reward similar to it because itโ€™s only โ€œreserved for menโ€. Most Muslim guys Iโ€™ve seen say โ€œJannah has certain rules that canโ€™t be brokenโ€ and think that women are just baby making Machines who have no desires of their own and that their just su

The Chinese Mandarin language โ€”is it really that difficult? First Impressions and comparison with Japanese.

Hello there, I'm interested in Mandarin and I wish to learn it. I've heard many people saying things about how hard and hellish it is to learn this language. However, my first impression when investigating a little bit about it is that people often exaggerate.

I want opinions from those who learn it/speak it but let me elaborate first. Keep in mind that this comes from someone who already speaks both Spanish and English at proficient levels, as well as Japanese at JLPT N3 โ€”which I want to make comparisons with.

The Hanzi

While it is true that it's a massive number of them that you must learn, they are actually intuitive and the more you learn, the more you can understand. While in Japanese the number of Kanji you need to learn to be proficient is lower, nearly all Japanese Kanji have at least two if not more different readings (้Ÿณ่ชญใฟ and ่จ“่ชญใฟ, On'yomi and Kun'yomi).

This can be quite confusing as there are no strict rules about what reading is used in each word, as there are multiple On'yomi readings (the readings used in compound words, those with more than one character) and, sometimes, different compound words might use the Kun'yomi reading instead, which is used for simple words. It's a way more messy and complicated system in my opinion.

In Chinese, however, the Hanzi act in more straightforward and clear ways, as almost all of them only have one meaning and one reading. Another thing that is also worth mentioning is that, unlike Japanese, Chinese doesn't have any secondary or tertiary writing alphabetical or syllabic system like Hiragana or Katakana in Japanese, both of which allow to phonetically spell all words without the ideograms.

This makes Chinese harder to read if one is not literate enough in the necessary number of Hanzi. Japanese forgives you when writing in the sense that you can write a word which kanji you don't know in Hiragana and still be understood, and there's also Furigana when reading, which is the kanas written next to the Kanji to clarify the reading (this is commonly found in children's books, mangas, or texts with specifical terms).

Chinese doesn't have any of this (Unless you want to consider Pinyin as such). Nonetheless, I believe that although harder, it's easier to advance and learn more in Chinese compared to Japanese.

Unlike Japanese and its more forgiving writing system (and fewer used characters), Chinese forces you much more to learn its Hanzi, and their straightforward nature means that you don't need to me

The President, the King, and the Kaiser - USA Lore and the Election of 1936

The United States in the Aftermath:

When Americans woke up in 1919 to a world dominated by the Kaiserreich, some were overjoyed, others dismayed, but most were apathetic. After all it was just another European war, and one that had cost millions of lives at that. After the SS George Washington sinking and Black Tom Explosion, the Entente was forced to open non-war trade to Germany. A multitude of private charities stepped in to help alleviate hunger in the Central Powers, one of the leaders of this movement was a young humanitarian named Herbert Hoover. Hoover led the Commission for Relief in Germany and later the new Belgian state of Flanders-Wallonia. Along with humanitarian aid though, investors began to invest in German industry and companies. This increasing trade with the devastated nation led to an even greater economic boom in the United States as they profited off of their neutrality. While the upper and middle class thrived though, the working class had not forgotten the injustices of the Gilded Age. Prominent socialist journalist Jack Reed left the burning husk of Bolshevik Russia and was there to bear witness to the French Civil War and establishment of the Commune of France. Taken by the comparative efficiency and ability to provide for the people of the CGT's government, compared to what he had seen of the Bolsheviks, he became an ardent syndicalist and on his return from Europe released 10 Weeks That Shook the World, an apparent sequel to his earlier writings on the failed Russian Revolution. It became the definitive English-language account of the French Revolution, and earned Reed great notoriety among American leftists including one โ€˜Big Billโ€™ Haywood. Reed would convince Haywood to officially endorse syndicalism, which he did, and it became the official ideology of his newly formed Socialist Party of America (SPA).

President Woodrow Wilson had made true on his campaign pledge to stay out of the war and was known as the โ€œMan Who Kept the Peaceโ€ by most of the public. Using his popularity and without regard to his health problems, Wilson secured the Democratic Party's nomination for an unthinkable third term. Wilsonโ€™s longtime Vice President, Thomas R. Marshall, refused to be on the ticket as VP again and so the Democrats chose Attorney General Alexander Mitchell Palmer to run with Wilson. Wilsonโ€™s first choice for VP, the ambitious Assistant Secretary of the Navy Franklin D. Roosevelt had succumbed to Guillain-Barre syndrome ea

ใ€ŒBrain Powerใ€...This is gonna be a wild one...

Namesake: Brain Power by Noma

User: Ashling "Drake" Noma

Phenomenon stand

Stats:

Power: N/A

Precision: E

Speed: C

Range: N/A

Durability: N/A (Variable duration)

Potential: E

Appearance:

No manifestation; the user's irises glow when active.

Ability:

Upon the intake of any 'drug', which can range from caffeine to cocaine, the user suffers a seizure and falls unconscious. Neither the substances nor the seizure have any lasting effect or consequences on the user's body. The user's consciousness then views the future of an alternate universe. How far into the future and the duration of the viewing are determined by the quantity and severity of the drug. Upon reawakening, the user regains full control of their body, as well as retains the memories from their 'trip'.

User information/backstory:

Ashling Noma was a mechanical engineer attending grad school for a PhD in robotics. Naturally gifted in a plethora of subjects and skills, he had been tinkering since he could hold a screwdriver and wanted nothing more in life than to invent: to create. Visualizing complex mechanisms and doing complex math in his head was simple, and his perfect memory ensured it stayed that way. Despite this, he had a major setback: his thesis. He was unsure of what to put forth, and had scrapped several concepts already. His first success was a creation of his teen years: the "Jelly Doughnut Juicer", which revolutionized food production by creating a high calorie drink for doughnut producers, but that level of inspiration was in the past. His ideas were scattered, unfocused, and he had no clear path he wanted to follow. While not around the corner, the time constraints loomed over the horizon, and he was no closer than when he had began brainstorming months ago. Though, this weekend would be it; he had set aside the entire time from Friday to Sunday to remedy this problem, and he would not sleep until he was at least on track. He downed a 56 hour energy to prep for the task...and immediately passed out. His face slammed into the desk with a thunk, and a surreal dream began.

He awoke in a different room surrounded by assembly lines. Everything seemed so real, yet he didn't feel like he was really there. It was like he was a disembodied sense of vision free from the world. He explored, noticing the products being produced in this factory. They were mechanical components, seemingly for some sort of arm. They were unlike a

1st Time Viewer - Random thoughts

Hi All! I just finished watching the entire series for the first time. 90 day fiancรฉe was my guilty pleasure, but I could never bring myself to watch this show. The thought of one man having so much power over 4 women, especially sexual control, was too repulsive for me. I read that one of the wives left and watched because I was so happy a woman took her power back.

Also, I am not white and I wonder if the behavior I cannot understand is based on cultural differences.

Here are my random thoughts:

  1. I have a hard time understanding accents unless spoken like a Midwesterner. For a long time, I thought they were saying โ€œpearlโ€ marriage instead of plural. That one is completely my bad, lol!

  2. I became incensed, absolutely irate when Robyn did not want Meri to go back to school. How dare you be anything but supportive when another woman wants to improve herself! I think that is the first time I saw what a terrible person Robyn can be.

  3. I am Latino, and I loved seeing Tonyโ€™s family on tv just for representation. This is how my family interactions played out whenever I dated a white guy. Parents speaking limited English, not seeking the spotlight, being supportive and loving towards the white significant other while the white family needs to be convinced of your worth. I am sure if Tonyโ€™s parents had not been immediately supportive of Mykelti, the Browns would have been offended and shocked. Tony and Mykelti are just normal human beings, not royalty, and Christine and family should have been happy for her.

  4. Tonyโ€™s comments reminded me of some people who like to push buttons. Iโ€™ve seen this behavior from cousins who live in Mexico so it may be cultural. They see something is off and will say things to test a person. For example, Tony says to Kody that he has all those women to clean up. Tony is testing Kody to see if Kody agrees, or to see if Kody says that women are not maids and he is also responsible for keeping the house clean. Kody was then supposed to get up and help. Kody failed the test and Tony now knows Kody is misogynist. I do not know of a single Latino man that would have remained seated after it was pointed out that the women were doing all the work.

  5. The family dances around the issue of sex, but this whole show is about sex and intimacy. I wish one of the students at the university panel would have told Kody that women are very sexual beings and some women need to have sex every day. Even if a wife sees Ko

Anyone else feel that this subreddit is being more whiny than usual?

"Milva broken, please hotfix CDPR". "King of Beggars broken, dumb CDPR doesn't know how to balance". "Radovid broken", "when they gonna fix Morkvarg", "vampires too strong"!

Seriously, what the fuck is happening? There has been very little time since the new cards were introduced and people have yet to stop complaining about everything. Which is utterly unwarranted from my experience: from rank 3 to Pro, this is the first time I have seen such an amount of different decks and archetypes. People have been experimenting, and it shows! This is the first time since the launch of the first leader cards earlier this year that the game has been this fun and diverse, in my opinion. Yet this subreddit is littered with posts (plural!) every single day complaining about something.

Also, for those unaware, CDPR has already stated that they will fix Radovid and Morkvarg's leader interactions soon, so chill, my dudes!
