Never mind that 90% of his plays during the match were attempts to get the Luigi wobble.
But seriously, why is there so much Bowser hate? Thatβs not the first time Iβve been hated on simply for playing as Bowser. There are lots of characters whose play styles are based solely on spamming a single move to start a single combo. Why does Bowser just get hate when he hardly has any combos to be βbrain-deadβ about?
The role would've been similar to Donkey Kong in Mario Party 5 to 8 (and to a lesser extent, Mario Party 9), where he would offer something good for the player if they were lucky to visit him. In a similar vein, it would basically be Rosalina providing something good for the player who lands on her hypothetical space (a Grand Star icon, which is her character emblem), she will either provide players with something good in a roulette, or give out coins in one of the Galaxy-themed minigames based on the amount of Star Bits collected.
Reason for bringing this up would be that Rosalina was portrayed as something of a goddess (which some still consider her as), and as such able to provide the player with beneficial things (in Galaxy, I think Rosalina can bring Mario/Luigi back to the spaceship), so the promotion would have been smooth. On the other hand, her importance is only restricted to Galaxy and she is currently portrayed as merely a fun playable character similar to how Daisy, Wario, and Waluigi are in these days.
So basically, what would you think if such a change were made?

The game is still great, and even better now with new features added, but from the lead up and hype to the game, there were lots of theories saying that Daisy might be a playable character. Was sort of hoping she'd finally be in a mainline game for the first time after so many years. (And I know she was in Super Mario Land)
Especially Palutena, it feels like you're rewarded for every button you press.
Also jiggly puff? Iβm not getting three stocked all the time donβt get me wrong but it feels like these characters have an advantage over mine.

Oh yeah being able to kill in 4 hits and having a shield breaker is super balanced and cool
This is not bowser. This is not the bowser that I know. Bowser is not an animal going by instinct, heβs a king, he has a military, heβs a leader, he took over the god damn galaxy TWICE! THIS IS NOT BOWSER! he has personality, heβs charming, not some emotionless animal!
And then we have bowser jr portrayed in this game. The cartoony models, the expressive moveset. He is a little asshole brat and he god damn shows it. Why isnβt bowser this way too? It just feels wrong. His model is wrong, his personality is wrong, his voice is wrong. Even GANONDORF, a character whoβs moveset is terrible because he was rushed into a rushed game has the decency to at least look and sound like the character. DK isnβt the best in representation but at least he looks like donkey Kong! meanwhile pit and joker are basically a 1 on 1 recreation of how theyβre like in their games.
I hate this.
