I have a few mentioned in other threads , but I’m curious to know what preferences you guys have that you may be a little reluctant to share.
Dubbed the “king of ghosts”, King Boom Boo is an exceptionally large Boo who resides in ancient pyramids, and commands the other Boos as their king. Unlike most Boos, King Boom Boo is rarely quiet, cackling loudly while lobbing blasts of blue fire at opponents
First appearing in Sonic Adventure 2, King Boom Boo attacked Knuckles during the echidna’s exploration of Eggman’s pyramid base. Although Knuckles managed to defeat King Boom Boo by exploiting the ghost’s weakness to light, it should be noted that Knuckles was apparently somewhat afraid of him, a fact that is more evident in the Japanese dub of the game.
King Boom Boo would next appear in the Halloween event of Sonic Runners, where he was released and mind-controlled into attacking Sonic and his friends by Dr. Eggman. Despite initially being defeated, Sonic and his friends returned with Omega, who used a searchlight to free King Boom Boo from Eggman’s mind-control, prompting him to pursue the mad doctor. In addition to his involvement in the story, King Boom Boo would also appear as a S-rare buddy usable in gameplay.
King Boom Boo would later appear in Team Sonic Racing, specifically in the “Boo’s House” track, where he floats along the track guiding the racers and cackling ominously. Interestingly enough, King Boom Boo’s design was edited somewhat in this title, with his body being shaped differently, and his eyes being much larger.
King Boom Boo would also appear in the Sonic X television series and its comic-spin off, where he possessed a design and personality near-identical to his game counterpart. Additionally, writer Karl Bollers initially planned to add King Boom Boo into the main Archie Sonic the Hedgehog comic, although this plan would never come to fruition.

I wish I could talk him into giving it another chance. We both enjoy the reboot, and I don’t understand how he thinks the reboot characters are okay but the OG ones aren’t?
He also hates Serena’s voice. Maybe I should just give up and be happy he watches the reboot with me.
