A list of puns related to "Black Sea deluge hypothesis"
I recently watched a documentary called "Secrets of the Bible - The Great Flood" which made a pretty convincing case that the answer to the title of this post is "YES!". IΒ΄m always very skeptical when watching Bible history shows. It often seems like there is so much effort put into making the facts fit the story.
After a bit of reading I found that the hypothesis is called "The Black Sea deluge hypothesis". Which briefly stated says that the Black Sea was a large fresh water lake until 5300 B.C., where the area was rapidly flooded by water flowing in from the Mediterranean ocean.
In the documentary mostly evidence of geologic nature was presented, but a few historical postulates where also in the mix.
I will here ask about the main archaeological postulates from the documentary which went something like this:
Around the fresh water lake lived an advanced culture with knowledge of metal working and mathematics (The 3-4-5 triangle and Pi). This culture was displaced by the flood, and evidence of the culture has been found at the Varna Necropolis in Bulgaria. Here graves with ornaments produced using advanced metal working (some of the earliest examples of gold working) pop up out of nowhere around 4300 BC., and there is no evidence of any earlier levels of this culture in the area (implying that the advanced culture evolved somewhere else and was then displaced into the Varna area). Furthermore there should be loads of evidence that Europe received a massive influx of migrants with farm-animals and crops - all three (people, animals and crops) originated from the area around the Black Sea during this period.
Are these postulates true? If Yes - Do they support "The Black Sea Deluge Hypothesis". Why/Why not? Is there any other historical or archaeological evidence that supports or debunk "The Black Sea Deluge Hypothesis"?
Thanks in advance.
Taken from the official PTS client β Version 8.8
Tiamat climbed onto the summit of her great temple and watched as the storm of her making battered Olympus. Great waves lapped at the foothills and torrential rains flooded the home of the gods. But it was not enough.
Already, she could feel the stormβs fury beginning to abate. She was not the only one with some influence over the elements. The gods of Olympus had combined their efforts to disperse the storm. She hissed in annoyance. It was too much to hope that they might have learned their lesson. More stringent methods of discipline were required.
She looked down as three others joined her on the roof. Neith smiled sadly as she took in Tiamatβs expression. βIt is even as you predicted, Persephone. They seek to calm the storm. To defy our mother.β
βNot all of them,β Persephone said, quickly. βSome, but not all.β
βDoes it matter?β the third of the trio, Morgan Le Fay, said, in mild tones. βThey have not expelled Tiamatβs enemies from Olympus. Therefore, Olympus is our enemy.β
Persephone turned. βWe do not have to be enemies.β
βZeus has already cast his gauntlet,β Neith said, gently. βFor better or worse, the gods of Olympus have made their choice.β The goddess of fate seemed neither surprised nor particularly pleased with the state of affairs, Tiamat thought. Unlike Morgan, who saw opportunity in the chaos, Neithβs eye was on the bigger picture. For her, this was all but prelude for what was to come.
βNot all of them. Some might yet see sense, if we but wait -β Persephone began. But Tiamat cut her off with a low growl. She looked down at Persephone.
βNo. No more waiting. Neith is right, child. The die has been cast. Let fate take its course, for good or ill. Olympus must be taught the folly of standing against me β and they must be taught now, before Gilgamesh infects others with his foolishness. Before they come against me as Marduk and his ilk did, in ancient times.β
Tiamat reared to her full height and spread her shimmering wings wide. βThe Olympians wish to face me? I shall show them I am not to be trifled with. I will fall upon them as the hawk seizes the mouse and I shall devour them!β
βOr you could teach them a more lasting lesson,β Persephone said, loudly.
Tiamat paused her wings spread; her head tilted. βSpeak your mind, child,β she invited, after a momentβs contemplation.
βIt is Zeus who is Gilgameshβs strongest ally. For now, at least. But

Isn't it more likely that an advanced technological civilization evolved deep under the ocean then reaching our planet across the vastness of space? There are multiple known mass extinction events that only impacted the land primarily. Hydrothermal vents could have been their equivalent of developing fire, and as an added benefit they spit out all sorts of elements that are useful industrially. Imagine what sort of physics/worldview such creatures would have where light is relatively rare while fractal brownian motion would be common due to extreme pressures. At this point they could have been digging into the Earth for eons, and we would have no idea as long as they kept most of their development under ground.
I'd like to preface this by stating I don't know physics or string theory, but I do read articles on black holes, neutron stars, planck particles, strange quarks, and I get ideas every once in a while, so here it goes: Could the Big bang be the results of a supermassive White hole? Thought process: Theoretically a white hole should be on the opposite side of a black hole, but we've never documented a white hole in our own universe before. Why? Could it be that a black hole typically doesn't contain enough mass to tear a hole through the fabric of Space-time? What if an especially large supermassive black hole was necessary in order to rip a hole in the fabric of Space-Time to create a white hole in another universe? Since black holes and white holes are a singularity, wouldn't that explain the universe expanding faster than the speed of light? Wouldn't the large amounts of matter and the heat released at the big bang be explained by a white hole? I also believe a white hole is a great reason behind why there was no black hole immediately after the big bang. I'm sure somebody could tear down my hypothesis, so please do. I'm interested in how wrong I am and why.

Usually Deuteronomy 32 and Psalm 82 are the primary evidence here, but these two seem overlooked.
Psalm 89 includes the verse:
>For who in the heaven can be compared unto the LORD? who among the sons of the mighty can be likened unto the LORD?
Which doesn't explicitly state that Yahweh is one of the sons of "the mighty" (side-note: the Hebrew word is 'Elim'. I don't speak Hebrew, but could this also be translated as "the sons of God/El"?), but implies it at least. It would be a bit odd to ask "who among Yahweh's sons is like Yahweh" I think.
This is perhaps obviated by later in the Psalm, when Yahweh is credited with creating the world, which implies he is the supreme deity.
In the Song of the Sea, there's this verse:
>Thou shalt bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance
Which raises the obvious question of who Yahweh is inheriting the mountain from. It also parallels talk of "the mountain of his inheritance" regarding Baal in the Baal Cycle, which is of course about Baal gaining the kingship.
1000 years ago. The coast of Mediterranean Sea is wet, even it is located in 30th parallel north, the latitude for desert.
Today, most of the Mediterranean Sea is dried up, the north side did not because it has lower evaporation rate compare with south side. The wind can still taking the steam from remaining sea to the coast of north side coast.
The north side's water is approximately 1000 meter below sea level
The south side is 4000 meter below sea level in average.
I WONDER WHAT WOULD THE TRUE WEATHER BE LIKE IN THIS WORLD?
I think most of the Mediterranean sea would be wasteland, it is too salty for plant
