Big Brother 20 and 23 spoilers ahead. I want to post this in the r/BigBrother sub but have a feeling I'd be chewed alive for suggesting these things so I am posting it here where unbiased discussions can occur. I also realize I use the word "racist" a lot. I know racist is a stretch but what I mean in this context is treating somebody differently depending on their skin tone/culture.
Let me set the scene quick. In Big Brother 20 (BB20) a player Davonne was working well with the player Sara Beth (I believe, I could be wrong on the person). Davonne was not working with a black player named David and had no official alliances with him. Sara-Beth and David were nominated for eviction. (Nominate means the rest of the contestants vote to send one of them home.)
Sara Beth began campaigning for Davonne to vote off David but Davonne said paraphrasing "Sara Beth, I like you much more than David and can see us working better than David, however I can't vote a black person out because a black person has never won the game." Davonne then went on to say how David and her could not work together and Davonne voted Sara Beth out.
I am missing some details as I skipped quite a few episodes in this next season. In the latest Big Brother season, there were 6 black people, and at least 4 other visible minorities (Asian and Hispanic for example). At the start of the game, the 6 black people made a final 6 deal where all 6 of them would make sure a black person won the game. Most of them also had a partner of another race that they worked with. The group of 6 never spoke much strategy with one another and some hated each other but every vote, another non-black person was voted out. The other non-Caucasian contestants were not even included in this alliance despite also being a visible minority. Week by week, non-black people were voted out, up until the end.
When 7 people were remaining in the game, Tiffany (black) and Claire (white) were an incredible duo and Tiffany had won the power to nominate two people. She nominated her best ally, Claire and another black contestant to which Claire was sent home. Claire was confused at first to be nominated but said she understood how Tiffany was doing it for their culture. With all the non-black people out of the game, Big Brother had their first black winner.
When there was about 4 non-black contestants and 6 black contestants in the show, the non-black contestants would sometimes remark how none of the black people have been sent

Unfortunately none of our side expect a cousin could attend due to multiple valid reasons which I list a short few
- grandparents (95f,98f,89m) = too old
- our parents= mom has breast cancer and my dad takes full care of her
- me and our youngest brothers gf = heavily pregnant/newborn
- our older brother and aunt = busy doctors who have to be extra careful
Everyone else ether couldn’t afford it or couldn’t afford to take two weeks off.
We tried to explain to them the situation months before the wedding but where hit with “our wedding,our rules. Don’t like it don’t come”
We asked to be able to help in anyway we could but a few weeks before the wedding their attitudes changed we where told they’d prefer to go low contact because we weren’t coming to the wedding ,which meant we didn’t support their marriage. I even begged to pay for the bridesmaids dresses but my brother told me he didn’t want my money he wanted me at his day I tried to explain to him,his wedding was 4 days before my due date. He ended up screaming at me calling me a spoiled entitled brat than blocking me.
They did similar stuff with everyone else, they even went as far getting my extremely sick mother upset to the point my father stopped talking to my brother.
So onto the situation after months of passive aggressive posts on social media and bride/groomzila tantrums they wanted to make up with everyone due to my mother finding out extremely heartbreaking news (6 months left)
We all ended up having dinner at my family home tonight with everyone being extremely cold to my bother and his wife. No one really cared to listen to about their wedding nor looked at their photos
My brother ended up getting us(siblings) alone to ask us why we where being dicks. My youngest brother told him tonight wasn’t the time than walked out, oldest said when mom died he would never speak to him again but due to the fact I’m his only sister he seem more mad/upset at me I told them “you got your big day now you have to deal with the consequences”
My bother and sil got extremely upset than left. My mother asked what happened but we told her he had the runs (Diarrhoea) and needed to leave
My bother sent me a heartbreaking email afterwards on how he felt so rejected that we weren’t at his wedding nor apologised afterwards

For me it is without a doubt Neda’s eviction in the double in BBCAN5. The stars aligned so perfectly for her immunity to run up right at the double eviction and have her last only 20 minutes in the house without protection. With Sindy barely able to name a replacement nominee and Arisa’s iconic “you can and you will.” Neda vs Ika in the pantry. It’s truly when Ika certified herself as legend.

so my youngest sister (11) just ran up to me excitedly and told me “i just got my period!!” i told her great, pads are in the washroom and she could ask my mom if she had any more questions.
I’ve always taught my sisters that periods are normal and nothing to be ashamed of and just seeing her excited about growing up and talking about it normally made me feel really good especially when a lot of people tend to look at it as something ‘dirty’ and ‘shameful’

My brothers kids had been sick a few days before Christmas, and my whole family to not do Christmas with them so we wouldn’t get sick. Christmas Eve comes and he’s swearing they all tested negative. So they go to a Xmas eve party and come to my parents to open presents. Well this morning I get the call they all tested positive again and they had all been sick for a few days. I’m fucking pissed, covid would fuck my life up right now, my parents are old and not in the best health so it could be really bad for them. All because they couldn’t stay home for a few days with there kids.
My big brother (18) just sent me a song he wrote, composed, recorded, and produced all by himself.
His vocals are awesome, but I've already knew that. I also knew that he is able to play just about 8932 musical instruments, and that his editing skills are beyond great (he even started up his -now successful- vfx studio by 16 or so).
He has so many other talents, BUT I did not know he has the ability to compose and edit songs in such a professional way. I am so proud of him and his work, and to be honest, I looked up to him since I remember myself. I am proud to be his little sister and support him and be there for him.

I'll keep it as brief as possible, because I could write a book about this. If you feel like you need more info, feel free to ask.
First for some background. My dad and sister (F49) are anti government and anti vax. My mom passed away 3 years ago and my brother (M25) still lives with my dad. My dad is fully brainwashed, all he does everyday is read alternative news and listen to alternative podcasts. Whenever we are together, it's all they can talk about. Every topic will circle back to it. They hardly show any interest in me or what's going on in my life. (I've been diagnosed with severe depression almost a year ago and started taking medication in August. I have been doing better since then.) I (F27) try to keep my mouth shut to keep the peace and because I know their opinions aren't going to change. I used to try but I grew tired of the discussions and decided that I'd just have to accept them for how they are. However, they keep trying to talk to me about it, so I have a lot of bottled up emotions. My brother luckily isn't like them and we have grown closer since our mom passed away.
Long story short, my brother now has COVID, which was reason for me to say that my boyfriend and I won't attend Christmas dinner tomorrow. My brother understood, but it led to an argument and then a fight between my dad and I over the phone. My dad thinks that my boyfriend and my friends are pressuring me into going no contact with him, which they're not, I just vent to them about my family. I decided to leave the family group chat because my anger almost made me say that I never wanted to see them again; I have to cool off before we can talk further. My dad has now said that he has 'one fewer daughter' and my sister said I need to get off my high horse and that I'm playing the victim and that she won't have any of that (which is ironic because that has always been her strategy).
Any advice or support from people who have been or are in a similar situation would be greatly appreciated. I feel very alone.

With celebrity big brother approaching, I started to think. Was the “mooch” actually a twist or did big brother just excuse his sudden exit as a twist in order to not upset fans? It really does seem out of the ordinary for big brother not to let us fans know ahead of time about the twist.
Keeping things from the houseguests is one thing, but for them to just tell us, “oh he’s gone, but it’s okay, he was never an actual houseguest” seems disingenuous. Is there any truth to him being a twist or was there something in his contract that only had him to a number of days just to boost ratings?
