Warning about Benjamin Franklin Plumbing in Cedar Rapids area

I want to warn anyone with plumbing issues not to get involved with this company. They will only create more problems for you. The company is a SCAM and has unethical business practices. They will put on a great sales act, saying confidently they know and will fix the problem, but they are just trying to figure out the best way to charge you the most money. I recently had them quote me a repipe for $7000 which they said they would get done in 2 days. After 2 days of work, they were only 10% done, connecting only the laundry which is right next to the water main. On the second day the plumber left without checking his work and incorrectly soldered a joint causing a water leak all under my walls. The other work they did was incorrect and not per code. At this point I said I do not want them to continue and I will pay them a reasonable amount prorated to the the work completed. They then said that the 2 days is still $7000. Unfortunately they already had my credit card and are now STEALING the money. I am taking them to small claims court.

MLK: plagiarizer and serial womanizer as a "minister." He had a dream alright. It was to sleep with as many women not named Caretta Scott King.

There are some jobs where some violations of the rules are disqualifying. If you're a CFO, you can't embezzle. No one wants someone minding the money who steals money. Ministers can't sleep around. Similarly, that behavior undermines their credibility.

Infidelity is why Franklin never had a holiday. He was the real father of our country, with 23 illegitimate children. But King was black, so his holiday is an affirmative action holiday.

We're marking Franklin's birthday and our home school today. Franklin did WAY MORE for America that King.

Liberals can now have their strokes as they wallow in their outrage.
