Our HOA has FORBIDDEN anybody from putting our garbage and/or recycling cans to the curb before midnight, but the garbage collectors come between 6-7 AM.
We have requested to be able to put our garbage to the curb at 10 PM because of health issues within our household. Their response: "we cannot allow garbage out before midnight because there is a potential for bears to be drawn to our neighborhood."
They have also 'allowed' us to place our garbage cans on the side of our garage (as opposed to the sidewalk) as long as we pay the garbage collectors extra money to walk to our garage to obtain the cans and return them to the garage door. So for some reason (that they have yet been able to provide evidence to support), the bears will only be attracted to the garbage if the cans are at the sidewalk (approximately 30-40 feet from the garage door) and not if they're next to the garage door.
What can we do to either legally address this or get around their seemingly baseless rules?
EDIT: Thanks for all your comments, everyone! To add some detail: our neighborhood is in the middle of a relatively new subdivision (all houses have been built within the last 10 years). To my knowledge, there has not been a single bear sighting within a square mile of my home (tracked using the Next Door app, people will post bear sightings and it will provide the relative location). Also, I live in the greater Colorado Springs area if that helps focus the information you all can provide.

The bill is dead for now but Abbott has announced he will call for a special session to try and pass this again.

It would add more difficulty for the HRE during regional with both its major debuffs and an almost literal race against the clock. If midnight happens before reunification, the after midnight states would only pop up in the area’s the HRE controlled with a few changes to the map to better accommodate this turn of events. This would also create the potential for some pretty cool events about soldiers from other unifiers confused about what happened to the previous government that controlled the region and them discovering the hellscape that Tabby turned the region into
I don't know if I'm going insane anymore. So my dad hangs out with his friends on Wednesdays from about 8:30-12 and I went downstairs while he was gone around 11:40 to get something to drink and i hear whispering. Not like scary whispers, but more like the sounds of people partying in the distance. Nobody has ever partied around where I live. I stopped to get a better listen, and it immediately stops.. So I get my drink, go back upstairs and play a 2 matches on warthunder and lose both. I give up, its 11:50~ and I'm going to bed. I take off my headphones and immediately the second both muffs are off, I hear this half deafening squeal of joy, like a little kid getting a massive Christmas present... I roll my chair back and immediately look for my cat, maybe I accidentally rolled over her tail..?? No, the cat isn't anywhere to be seen, she's in the other room, sleeping. I'm starting to flip out since this sound came literally 1 FOOT AWAY from me outside my window. I grab my pocket knife and stand on top of my bed for a good 30 minutes till my dad gets home, but nothing else came of it..
Is there any possibility I have schizophrenia or something?? Carbon monoxide poisoning or any logical reason??
I've been freaking out thinking people are following me on my walk to school I SWEAR I am hearing nearby footsteps, but I am the only person walking..
I don't know anymore.. I am only 16, and if I have schizophrenia, my life is over. People will forever judge me, and I may never look at the world with sane eyes again..
I've had unexplainable, no rash, no marks skin itching and crawling for over 3 years now. My physician has no clue wtf is going on, my thyroid is fine, and everything else. PLEASE somebody just give me some help!! I'm starting to think everything is just all in my head at this point.

So my wife and I lived in the SF Bay area, but the wedding was in LA because my family is located there. (Wife doesn't have much family)
My wife loves rainbows (I know lol) and the wedding party was dressed accordingly. 6 men and women with colored ties/petticoat that match.
So fine. One day before, everything is going great. People are getting into town everyone had their dresses/suits but Ms. Yellow hadn't shown up. (She's driving from the bay to LA)
She assures my wife that she's on the way.
That night my wife is having her bachelorette party and Ms. Yellow calls and says she's in SAN DIEGO (Three hours past LA) and can't make it.
So that sucks... And ruins the rainbow. So my wife asks if they can drive to San Diego and get the dress so someone can fill in.
She agrees, they treck all the way down and find her in a disgusting motel and when they ask for the dress SHE WANTED $200 FOR IT (what she paid)
Wife and bachelorette party scrounge up $200 get the dress, and make it back in time to get a couple hours sleep for the big day.
This was just one of many disasters that helped make our wedding so memorable!

A lot of people seem blown away that we asked the bridal party to pay for their dresses...
I was a little shocked at three response so asked my wife for more details.
The dresses were all black cocktail dresses picked by the party (my wife told them it could be any black dress but they all agreed on a specific one that cost $140.)
My wife bought the colored detachable petticoats. )$40 ea)
Ms. Yellow wanted $200 because she paid $60 for alterations.
