Methaqualone, the real one, will always be at the first place - but I admit I wasn't so lucky to try the old school barbs, and the current ones for "human usage" are only two and they sucks, afaik.
Opioids, the best holy grail were also taken away (see dextromoramide, and the almost disappeared ketobemidone and dipipanone) - and I suspect for the same reason, other than for the "no OD remedy", happened for the barbs.
When I was speaking with somebody in the vet field, he told me about different compounds that are still produced and used in veterinary fields about barbiturares and opioids.
Of course not seeking any source, I was just curious to know if in the veterinary field those two drugs class still offers "obscure" compounds that could be suitable for..human consumption as well ;)
I take fioricet (not the one with codeine) for my migraines. One active ingredient is a barbiturate called butalbital. I wear a Fitbit constantly to monitor changes in heart rate, and I've noticed that on the days that I take fioricet, my pulse still seems to rise a lot, but at a much much slower rate. Generally my pulse rises about 25 bpm upon standing within about a minute. On the medication, my pulse still rises just as much, but it takes much longer. However, I've also noticed that when I'm having a particularly bad day symptom wise, if I take that drug, I tend to feel worse and overall weak. It reminds me of how I felt when taking midodrine. My vitals were great, but for some reason I still felt like death. Has anyone else had any similar experiences?
Just wondering if it's possible to buy barbiturates on the streets nowadays. Has anyone ever tried barbiturates, specifically phenobarbital ? What was your experience like ?
I was given a barbiturate in the hospital when I was 20 due to severe insomnia. I had my own script for a while after that, but there’s a lot of crack down on those drugs. But holy crap, the amount of euphoria, mixed with sedation is totally something I need right now

Girlfriend is a nurse in Ohio, pinched a nerve in her neck attempting to reposition a heavy home care patient who refused a hospital bed. Woke up the next morning with what she thought was a tension headache and took a prescribed Fioricet to remedy. Pain continued for three days before she went to an ER and claimed a work place injury after ER doctor suspected a pinched nerve. BWC called to inform her she tested positive for barbiturates and asked for photo evidence of a prescription, she supplied evidence but the prescription expired in January. How worried should she be of potential repercussions?
So I take 30mg Diazepam a day. I haven’t taken barbiturates in half a yr, but for some reason I was prescribed 96mg Phenobarbital every 2hrs today for seizures today and haven’t noticed anything. I always noticed it when I had to take it for seizures before. Why is this??? [I also take gabapentin, Seroquel, and Zoloft if that helps.]

But Dr Raymon from Kaplan says that barbiturates are gaba mimetic, meaning they don’t need gaba to function, which is why their toxicity increases with the dose indefinitely kinda vs benzos which require gaba and their effect plateaus once all the gaba is used up.

I initially went on the darknet trying to find a barbiturate like nembutal to peacefully exit my life. But I realized it's practically impossible to find. I was wondering if anybody knows if it's possible to get barbiturates online- or some kind of suicide kit to end things in a clean, painless way. Any resources would be helpful.

On December 11th, 2020 - I took about 12-15 grams of phenobarbital along with some xanax (10-15) and some other pills with an intention to die. My girlfriend of mine however prevented that from happening - I was rescued after being unconscious for about 12 hours and was hospitalized for 30 days with 17 days in the ICU.
I am a 28 year old male, 73 kgs and stand at 5 feet 8 inches tall.
I was discharged on 8th January 2021, recovered mostly except for my legs. I was unable to walk. My quadriceps were weakened severely and towards the end of it I could only lift (up from the ground) my right leg. After 2 months of physiotherapy since then I was asked to consult a neurologist to since the improvement was not as expected. Nerve conduction study concluded that there's loss of sensitivity in the nerves of my quadriceps in both legs. And I was prescribed re-nerve plus - a multi vitamin and mineral supplement.
3 weeks after using it (along with physiotherapy) I still am unable to lift my left leg (off the ground when I am lying down). There's loss of sensation in my quadriceps (of temperature and pain). And I still can't get up from the surface I am seated on without the help of my hands.
I am unable to find any material on persisting neuro toxicity of barbiturates and/or it's duration. I am unsure if they had any role to play for this even. I was in a coma for the first few days where I remember in a dream experiencing severe pain in my legs - like they were crushed. Again I am not certain if this is connected in any way.
I'd appreciate any suggestions or help in understanding what is happening to my legs and how long I'll take to heal? If surgery is a possible option to consider?

Are the key differences between Barbiturate and opioid overdose:
- Pupil size (miosis seen in opioid toxicity)
- time of onset of respiratory depression (opioid toxicity would not persist for more than 24 hours, due to tolerance to its effects)?
Are there other key differences in differentiating these two toxicities that I am missing?

I used to take a barbiturate to treat childhood convulsions and the highest daily dose I have been given was 0.000529109 ounces. I had to take it at night, i guess to also help me sleep better. I had to take smaller and smaller doses until my tablet was eucharist wafer thin. 16 ounces is definitely lethal.
Another thing I don't understand is why the LAPD officer has access to information that incriminates Deborah if his primary source IS DEB. The emulator and the apple ii are hers but the information on the sd card is Syphus' (his ID, his passcode, his email, his rank access, his private conversations). Why would she allow the lapd officer to give this information to matt and why would he follow blindly?
Syphus is now targeted through two medical procedures - euthanasia by barbiturates, and the procedure that led him to need life's blood to survive. his personal logs were stolen (because he doesn't seem to have access to them anymore, making it necessary for him to redirect matt's calls), and deborah was undermining his authority or abusing hers while painting syphus as the one responsible. Syphus maybe the founder but if they were working together on Pegasus, they may have delegated equal but absolute powers to each other. It is possible for Syphus to have agreed to such terms if he is in need of deb's expertise to achieve their goal and/or he underestimated the lengths deborah would go to. Syphus' bitterness towards Deb feigning humility to gain Wes' trust may come from a personal experience of having his trust broken which is why he assured wes that he also knows her.
Finally B27 may be innocent. B27 may have deleted the chat on their end but Syphus (owner of the logs/sd) may have found Deborah's logs and kept it as evidence of her plot against him. Since Deb got the sd card, she may have fabricated the logs that weren't protected by the Directory ID. The theft of the logs/sd renders Syphus defenseless to accusations against him especially when, as Matt had pointed out, Deborah has maintained a better image for a longer period of time.
The questions are, did Deb order the LAPD officer to give the directory ID? Did he find it on his own and not tell deborah (because it is the ID to the chat logs that she cannot fabricate and could possibly incriminate her)? Was he simply holding his end of the trade of informations with matt thinking he still knows the id so since matt has access to the emulator, at least one of them should see what was on the Dire

Those three types of drugs are describing the drugs used for lethal injections given to inmates facing execution. The chemicals most commonly used in lethal injection are Midazolam (a sedative), Potassium Chloride (stops the person's heart), Sodium Thiopental (an anesthetic), and Pavulon (paralyzes the person). So therefore, yes, D was almost definitely trying to kill someone.
So I was reading the autobiography of Waylon Jennings who is one of the founders of the Outlaw Country sub genre and he was talking about how all the country artists in the 50's and 60's were all taking amphetamines to stay awake and get their work done and barbiturates to relax and go to sleep. He said he had names for all the different pills and kept notes on their effects. He mentioned a pill he described as being "half upper and half tranquilizer in one pill."
Is this true? He was a hardcore pill head at that time of his life so he might not remember shit correctly but I'm interested if anything like this was ever made.
The barbiturate could be to x_x syphee and heres why. as we know, D wanted to get rid of Nelson so she asked B27 for 16 oz of it. But, we know that the normal dose for barbiturate is 2 - 10 g. So, if you give someone 16oz of that, it would kill them.

Is it safe to take 100-200mg phenobarbital when I have mild dxm afterglow?
