A list of puns related to "Autosuggestion"
I'm in Windows. I change the shell of gitbash for zsh, and I installed this plugin https://github.com/zsh-users/zsh-autosuggestions who works fine in gitbash, but if I open it in VSC integrated terminal it act weird:

It works but is super annoying to use, and I'm sure that is that plugin because when is disabled the terminal backs to normal .
I was thinking, why can't I just create a tape where I say and repeat the same positive traits I would like to have. And just listen to that every day in bed to fall asleep with.
Example:
- I am confident.
- I am relaxed.
- I am a winner.
Would that work to get my person more into a direction I want to become?
I was curious if anyone knows how many times Joy Division played Autosuggestion live, or how many live recordings that exist include it. I really love how the song was played live, especially Ianβs long βhereβ at the beginnings and the short guitar note played right after βeverything is by designβ and that repeats a few times. The Effenaar version is incredible with the bass especially. I know that one and the one at Civic Hall which is great as well but I want to hear more.
Our subconsciousness sucks. It controls a large portion of our behavior and especially how we feel and think.
In my personal experience, practicing SR can make the subconsciousness cry for sexual satisfaction and intimacy. I want to introduce you to a technique which can dramatically change this if you practice it regularly.
We all let our subconsciousness influence our conscious thinking and it's important to accept that this will always happen and there's nothing we can do about it. When we realize this, the question of how can we then at least change what our subconsciousness wants (and thus what it's telling our consciousness) gets a whole new level of importance.
So let me introduce you to a technique many successful people use and which is written in some of the greatest literature of all time (e.g. N. Hills "Think and grow rich", which also discusses Sexual Energy Transmutation)
What I'm talking about is Autosuggestion.
It's like your subconsciousness is a DVD and Autosuggestion is the DVD burner. We accidentally burn stuff to our subconsciousness all the time and Autosuggestion is a tool to do it intentionally.
We start by finding out what it is that our subconsciousness has gotten wrong and we want to change. For me I identified that I was thinking about my sexual desires way too often and I felt like nothing would make me happy on the level that sexual satisfaction will. So what my subconsciousness got wrong is that it thinks I could not be happy without intimacy and sexual satisfaction. So:
Edit: As comments pointed out: You should phrase it positively. Using "don't" "not", etc. is not useful and you should rather say what you want your mind to believe and not what you don't want it to believe. That's why the extra step emerges: Find out what you want your mind to believe instead (in my case that my happiness comes from within) For more info refer to the comments of churdtzu and iwantolearn23.
Belief to be burned: I don't need sexual satisfaction to be happy. I can be happy at any time. My happiness comes from within.
Then we have to take some time (even only 5 Minutes work) every day to burn this into our subconsciousness. Just clear your mind for a moment and start repeating it over and over again.
It's important that we don't just repeat it like a robot, we have to think about it. We have to visualize what it means. Best is we don't always say it in the same way, but think about new wordings every time and

The latter is what I want it to look like in tmux, but what I get is the former.
Thanks.
Hi,
Is there a shortcut, or a way to configure one, which allows you to accept the autosuggestion up to the next space character (or similar)?
Thanks.
It's a pretty baseline install of ohmyzsh except I have zsh-syntax-highlighting installed and powerline10k. I wasn't facing this issue before I installed autosuggetions and is fixed by uninstalling it. I tried setting ZSH_AUTOSUGGEST_USE_ASYNC to true, but I don't think it did anything.
If the title isn't clear, I mean that when I paste something in the terminal(only happens on the terminal not in vim) it has a typewriter effect and the text appears letter by letter. I'm on Xubuntu if that helps.
I made a new syntax for a language that isnt supported by ST. Ive been combing over the documentation, but I cannot figure out how to make a custom dropdown list. Ive tried using snippets and completions, but I cannot figure out how to make it a custom drop with "triggers". Can anyone give me some advice? Thank you in advance
Hi,
I installed the zsh-autosuggestions following the recommanded install for ohmyzsh plugin but it doesn't suggest anything. What can be wrong? The plugin is listed in my .zshrc.
Thank you.
Last night, I got awake 4 or 5 hours after falling asleep during one of those micro-awakenings (I am aware of them), I checked the time on my tablet and decided it is a good time to try WILD. My second try only. I was curious, not at all worried.
It was the perfect opportunity, I was still very sleepy and completely relaxed. I was on my back and didn't have any problems with not moving, I let my mind wander around and it was relaxing. After a few minutes, I felt like I am close to falling asleep, so I started to focus a little bit more.
Suddenly, it felt different. I started to see more floaters and flashes and they were colorful. I was thinking "cool, that's it". Then I felt tingling in my extremities - toes, and fingers - and again, I was thinking "cool". But also, I was thinking "am I getting paralyzed or not yet?". Then, my heart started racing and beating heavily and my thermoregulation went completely off and I was feeling very hot. It felt almost like a panic attack. I was thinking "what if it gets worse and I will be stuck in it" and "this is not worth it" and opened my eyes.
Then I went to the toilet and noticed I was physically shaking.
Later, it took me a long time to fall asleep again because I was worried that I would be conscious forever and that it will be always like this and I won't be able to fall asleep normally. I still feel some anxiety just thinking about it.
So, was it hypnagogia? Or was it like this only because I expected it to be like this and I basically spooked myself? Or was it excitement from getting close?
I'm using zsh-users/zsh-autosuggestions
and I would like to change some of the default configurations. In the README, it states
> You may want to override the default global config variables. Default values of these variables can be found here.
However, it doesnt say how to override -
I can think of two ways, one is to edit zsh-autosuggestions.zsh
directly which is probably not ideal. Another way is add a line in my .zshrc.
For instance, if I want to add Suggestion Strategy, I add this to .zshrc
,
ZSH_AUTOSUGGEST_STRATEGY=(history completion)
Am I doing correctly? Is there anywhere else to set it?
thanks!
I'm new to this plugin (and ignorant to shell programming) and, for some reason, I often find myself hitting the forward-char key and having a big long auto-suggestion I didn't want. Is there a way to undo such a mistake? Also, could I remove the forward-char binding? (When I hit End it's purposeful.) Or perhaps map forward-char to "forward word"?
I want to move view window to the top of the screen. I'm using the next userChrome.css
:
#browser {
-moz-box-ordinal-group: 0 !important;
}
Every menu now opens to the top...
...except for autosuggestions which still opens to the bottom:
There are autosuggestions but you can't see them
How to fix it?
Did you managed to apply autosuggestion in your life in a way that changed it significantly? How did you do it? What's your method? Have you tried and failed? Why?
OP posts a sentence, preferably decent sized. Children alter the sentence by replacing no more than half of the words in the following way: they type the first two letters of the word into their device, and choose one of the autosuggestions to replace it.
For example, the previous sentence could become βChanges alter the second by replacing no more than half of the world...β
This is a thing ive encountered so many times: when you have to manually change who your next target is in the middle of an attackchain.
Anyone with less than nimble fingers are out, and this is epecially bad since some units have a really short timespan for changing the next target enemy. I started thinking of this due to the Otama-ranking event, in which i cant change fast enough. :( Even apart from this event, ive always considered it a flaw. To me, it never seemed like it was intentional, but instead something closer to a designflaw.
Do you think there would ever be implemented a change to help this? Any ideas?
