Abstract
Sudden death could be the first symptom of patients with arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy (AC), a disease for which clinical indicators predicting adverse progression remain lacking. Recent findings suggest that metabolic dysregulation is present in AC. We performed this study to identify metabolic indicators that predicted major adverse cardiac events (MACEs) in patients with AC and their relatives. Comparing explanted hearts from patients with AC and healthy donors, we identified deregulated metabolic pathways using quantitative proteomics. Right ventricles (RVs) from patients with AC displayed elevated ketone metabolic enzymes, OXCT1 and HMGCS2, suggesting higher ketone metabolism in AC RVs. Analysis of matched coronary artery and sinus plasma suggested potential ketone body synthesis at early-stage AC, which was validated using patient-derived induced pluripotent stem cell-derived cardiomyocytes (iPSC-CMs) in vitro. The U.S. governmentβs original Project Pegasus was set out to be the creation of a radiation βvaccineβ or in broader terms a genetic enhancement serum that genetically mutates the DES gene allowing for a more robust human that could handle higher, typically fatal, levels of radiation. This may have been due to nuclear concerns from the cold war and the 1986 nuclear meltdown of Chernobyl.
This project originally was meant to consist of just one injection, the snake marked clear serum, but evolved over time as its purpose evolved to include a red serum known as βLifeβs Bloodβ as a βstabilizerβ, and an eventually psycho-electronic βactivation/controlβ.
Based on observation and evidence analysis we believe that the clear serum was the original attempt at a DNA alteration through injection. This serum kick starts a genetic mutation process for the DES gene which creates the Desmin protein. The Desmin protein affects the heart and skeletal muscles. This is done via a virus carrier in the form of the Rotavirus which has been used to deliver genetic payloads. This process boosts certain traits in certain humans such as movement speed. It is believed to contain, among other things, potassium permanganate, rotavirus (neutralized), and formaldehyde.
One of the potential and unfortunate side effects of using this serum could have been cardiomyopathy. This is where the PKP2 gene mutation may have begun to occur as the serum took effect. Much of the scientific documentation found in the mountaineer pointed at cardiovascular issues such as arrhythmogenic right ventricular dysplasia.
The antidote is the blue serum incorrectly labeled βcounteragentβ. Its formula from the antidote notes is said to be PPsβ + NL92 + H20 + ?. PPsβ we believe to be Project Pegasus Clear Serum, the β after the s meaning prime or primary serum, potentially 65 ml. After some google-fu, NL92 is a chemical compound that blocks histamines. First of all, dad jokes CAN be NSFW, it clearly says so in the sub rules. Secondly, it doesn't automatically make it a dad joke if it's from a conversation between you and your child. Most importantly, the jokes that your CHILDREN tell YOU are not dad jokes. The point of a dad joke is that it's so cheesy only a dad who's trying to be funny would make such a joke. That's it. They are stupid plays on words, lame puns and so on. There has to be a clever pun or wordplay for it to be considered a dad joke.
Again, to all the fellow dads, I apologise if I'm sounding too harsh. But I just needed to get it off my chest.

Hi Reddit! As a researcher and genetic counselor at Johns Hopkins Medicine, I'm part of a team that recently helped create a computer program that predicts who is at risk of sudden death in people with arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC). This tool will help us figure out who would benefit most from an implanted device that shocks the heart to get it back into rhythm. And, it could prevent 20 percent of patients with the disease from receiving unnecessary - and potentially risky - surgery to place a device that is not needed.
Often, people don't find out that they have ARVC until they experience a near fatal or fatal cardiac event. You may even have a family member who suddenly died because of this, which means someone else in your family - maybe even you - could have it. Iβm sorry. This is going to be long, but as I have been writing it out, I think it has been helping even if nobody reads this.
My boyfriend got our dog when she was 8 weeks. She is the sweetest, most perfect mess of a boxer ever. She was the runt of the litter and has all sorts of bonus deformities in addition to the general purebred deformities due to being a runt and also a sweet doofus. She is 10.5 now and I came into her life a little over 3 years ago. I was NEVER a dog person. I felt like the dog smell was just disgusting and dogs were awkward, clumsy, hard animals. Not soft and cuddly and gentle. To be fair, I wasn't a cat person either until I got my cat 14 years ago. But when I got my cat, I felt like I could never imagine loving a dog. Cats or nothing.
I loved this dog instantly, and she loved me right back. She let me touch her face and paws in the first weeks, and she never lets anyone but my boyfriend and his close family members do that. I didn't mind her smell, actually grew to like it. She is awkward and clumsy and she would step on me in bed and it hurt, and she would c**kblock us so much with her cuddles, but she is very good at cuddles and her goofy face and enthusiasm for life just always made my days better.
I feel like we have a really strong connection and I am really good at telling when something is wrong and even guessing what it is, when nobody else even notices somethingβs off. I knew rather quickly when she had a UTI even though the signs were not very obvious and the vet did the test mostly just to humor me. Later when she had another one, the vet said the UA was too dilute and probably negative, but after a urine culture we found out she did have one. I feel like Iβve been very good at determining and meeting her needs. At times, she would even come to me first instead of my boyfriend. I like to think itβs because we have such a strong connection that she knows I will know what she needs with little effort on her part.
In February, she started having some stomach troubles. Turns out the peas in her food were giving her gas and occasionally bloody stool. When we took her to the vet to try and figure out what the cause was however, she had a panic attack which ended up leading to an extremely elevated heart rate, a trip to the emergency vet, an overnight in the ICU, and a diagnosis of Arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC).
