A list of puns related to "App Inventor for Android"
Sorry if this is a dumb question. I am totally new to app inventor so Iβm trying to follow some guides online. I have a robot arm that I want to control using an app inventor with an HM-10 Bluetooth module. I have my arduino uno set up and the robot arm is working with arduino code, but Iβm having trouble getting app inventor to recognize my HM-10 Bluetooth module. Any ideas why I can see the HM-10 on my phone Bluetooth page but not in app inventor?
Sorry for limited info Iβm at work.
Hey /r/Android! I've been a huge fan of App Inventor ever since Google launched it a few years back. I got interested in writing apps because of this service. Plus, AI2 is even more user-friendly!
I've made a few apps for friends on AI, and I've even written one for business usage in a local dentist's office. After making a small app for a friend's birthday, I thought I would share what my friends know I do to the rest of /r/Android.
In total, I spent two hours from start to finish throwing this recent one together. The most time-consuming task was Photoshop work. To maximize your friends' joy, make a simple soundboard-type app. One or more button->sound blocks do the trick. Bonus points if the images change.
I used to try to make games for my friends by taking advantage of the image sprites available in AI, but people didn't play my games, and the work-fun ratio was completely out of whack. I ended up ditching the games and complex apps for my buds. The simplest app is the best app.
Here's the link to my most recent app for a friend. I'm actually publishing it on Play at the moment, so I'll update the link if anything breaks. This is the only app for a friend that we've both decided to publish.
All in all, AI is a powerful tool that definitely brings laughter from friends. Sorry for the long post!
Edit: here's the app on Google Play
http://appinventor.googlelabs.com Has anyone created an Android app with the App Inventor yet? I started learning how to use it last night. Share your apps or ideas! I need to get inspired.
So, I have some background on programming, I do learn the basics through HTML, minus OOP which still makes me 'What' every time I re-read that. I suck at making pseudo-code and always do the programming on the fly without plan whenever I do some coding. Now that's more or less my programming knowledge, plus, and minus. Let's move to my problem/questions.
I'm allowed to take programming courses until the end of the year. I accepted and choose to learn Android Java Programming. I found two different courses.
I'm interested in the second one and I have read many android developer job requirements mentioning the android studio several times, but I didn't know about App Inventor, so I still havent make a final choice. Which one would you all recommend to me?
