A list of puns related to "Angie Stone discography"
Looks like both versions of all albums are on Spotify, correct? Would you recommend a newbie listens to the UK or US versions? Iβve heard some of these albums before but want to give it a go from the beginning and keep it consistent which version. Maybe when Iβm done Iβll try the other versions. Is the difference mainly just in the order or are their actually different songs?
Over the past week Iβve been listening to the full studio discography of the Stones in chronological order. I have fallen even more in love with the band. I wish I was born early enough to have experienced hearing Beggarβs Banquet upon itβs release. It must have been such an awesome moment for fans to hear Sympathy. In my opinion, the first track and that album as a whole, is the big shift. They finally found βtheirβ sound. Itβs almost like they shed their earlier 60βs rock and blues, Chuck Berry - Muddy Waters influences and morphed into the greatest rock band of all time. And then with Let it Bleed, they doubled down and got more experimental by doing straight up country songs. Iβm at the tale end of getting through the whole discography, and sure, there are some not so great 80βs albums, but I highly recommend doing the full discography. If youβre a fan, you may find some gems that youβve never heard before. What a crazy ride.
I was listening to some rolling stones earlier today and realized that Angie's instrumental (specifically at about 2:08) sounds so similar to Police station's instrumental (2:57 and 4:32)
AG, AG
When will those clouds all disappear?
AG, AG
Where will it lead us from here?
With no lovin' in our souls
And no money in our coats
You can't say we're satisfied
AG, AG
You can't say we never tried
AG, you're beautiful, yeah
But ain't it time we said goodbye?
AG, I still love you
Remember all those nights we cried?
All the dreams were held so close
Seemed to all go up in smoke
Let me whisper in your ear
AG, AG
Where will it lead us from here
Oh, AG, don't you weep
Oh, your kisses still taste sweet
I hate that sadness in your eyes
But AG, AG
Ain't it time we said goodbye? Yeah
With no lovin' in our souls
And no money in our coats
You can't say we're satisfied
AG, I still love you, baby
Everywhere I look, I see your eyes
There ain't a woman that comes close to you
Come on, baby, dry your eyes
AG, AG
Ain't it good to be alive?
AG, AG
They can't say we never tried
Hi first time here I was wondering if anyone knew where to get Mahagony Soul Iβve been looking for this record for quite sometime now but everywhere I look itβs either sold out of not in stock. Anything helps π
I know this is somewhat a matter of personal preference, but me and a couple friends who listen all sorts of rnb have had this on repeat for weeks, and haven't been able to find a lot like it. it just has a special bit of soul and a slow bop that makes it too catchy for its own good. Think maybe the way the melody interplays with the beat without being too under/overstated is playing a role. Anyone who's familiar with the tune and knows what I'm on about got any similar numbers that might hit the same spot? Thanks for any help in advance!
For a bit more direction, I'd say this one by Mary j Blige produced by D'angelo comes close - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TMJPBNshc-8
