Belgrader here. I just got around to watching the episode when Amira was hunting for food (TLC just aired it here) so here are some fun facts about what was pure bullc*ap I thought y'all would like to know (disclaimer: Andrew is 🤮)
The riots started on July 7 and were somewhat violent for about 3-4 days, after that people went the hippie route and protested with sit-dows for a couple of more days. The government ignored them and they gave up very quickly.
The protests would start around 6pm. The violence (throwing stones at the po-po and the po-po throwing teargas back) would start around 8pm and would be over by midnight the latest. So it wasn't an all day event.
Amira stayed at a boutique hotel or some sort of an Airbnb (in any case not a proper hotel, which there are several around there, I don't know why she chose this) in the very centre of the city, on a street that is parallel and flows into the main pedestrian zone. There are like zillions of caffes, restaurants, fast food joints, bakeries and what not. There's also a bunch of make-up stores, Sephora and Boot's type of stores, a shopping centre with a bit higher brands and a Starbucks, Vapiano and McDonald's. There is even a French bakery at the end of her street (although I think they closed last year, not sure). There are also museums and galleries, everything was working during summer.
There is a very nice supermarket literally 15 paces from her hotel in the direction she went when she got out, she passed it on her way. But somehow she ended up on Kosovska street, which is like 5-7 min walk away and not a touristy street at all. F*ck me if I know why she went there...
The guy that yelled out to her on the street on her way to that place that was closing (it was a Mexican joint just couple of paces ahead, but there's a McDonald's next to it) said "Snimi mene!" which means "Film me!". If I know my Belgrade guys, this probably meant she caught his eye and he wanted to get her attention, thinking it would be a cute move... so it wasn't anything rude...
Anyway, I'm sure this desperate search for food was TLC's little script, we all know how they frauding... What bugs me is that they tried so hard to show her as a victim, as if being that disgusting sweat-smelling douche nozzle's girlfriend, being detained in Mexico and having to stay in a foreign country for two whole weeks wasn't enough. It just bugs me why the need to go sooooo overboard with drama...

Been reading about how one would provide a full nutritious plate to a cat without using super processed "cat food"s, and this always strikes me as weird (seeing as cats are obligate carnivores).
I recently switched my cat to this food, but I no longer see it in the app. I checked all 5 Wegmans stores in my vicinity. Is this just a supply chain issue, or has Wegmans discontinued this product?
I had heard great things about this food when first researching before getting my dog, but never tried feeding it. I have learned that he does MUCH better on fish-only foods, so this one has peaked my interest again. I know there's been some backlash more recently against grain-free foods, but I also presume that not all grain-free foods are created equal. The ingredients for this one seem like good quality. Does anyone out there have long-term experience feeding this to their Newfs? If so, I'd love to hear about your dogs' health, longevity, etc. while eating this food. Thank you!
