A list of puns related to "Amazon Fire TV"
I'm looking at replacing all of our streaming boxes with Shield TVs, however we use an app that is only on the Fire TV and as of yet there is no Android TV version. I am familiar with sideloading the Amazon app store on Android devices as I've done this on phones before, and have seen some older posts about being able to do the same on Android TV devices so Fire TV apps can be installed. Is this still doable on the Shield TV devices?
Hi guys i have a problem with my Amazon Fire TV cube. As i Say in the title, i create two routine called Alexa goodmorning and Alexa goodnight. The first, should turn on the TV and the light while the second should turn off the TV and the light. Unfortunally the First routine doesn't work (it's Open only the light) while the second works perfectly. Can anyone help me? I can't understand why the device doesn't send the infrared when i should turn on the TV Thanks for the help.

Does anyone have the newest model Amazon Fire stick (or TV) that came out in the past month or two and watches NJPWWorld on it? Is it a considerable upgrade from the previous Fire stick/TV?
Canβt re-encode thousands of hours so what do I do besides buy new sound setups for the rooms ? Any settings ?
Hi,
I want to change my Fire TV 1st gen to a 2nd gen device.
On my 1st gen, when you connect a usb it automatically shows in Kodi and I can play media from it. Does this work the same with 2nd gen Fire TV?
I am asking this since on this Amazon page:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=201640900
2nd FTV doesn't show USB as a storage space whereas the 1st Gen does.
Thanks
Hi all,
I have a setup with a Synology NAS on which the Plex Media Server runs. I have an Amazon Fire TV Stick that is connected to a projector and the Plex app on it. Every single time I watch a movie/show it gets to a point where it starts to stutter and eventually the "Your connection is too slow" message appears (either 1080p/720p)
This is almost impossible as the NAS (edit: and the router) literally sit 10 feet away. Stick is connected via Wifi 2.4Ghz network.
Is there any way to check whether the Fire TV Stick actually pulls the file via the local network?
I am afraid it might push it through the internet, and up- and downloading it simultaneously is what breaks the connection.
It is extremely annoying and I can't figure it out. Anyone has some advice?
It gets kind of tiresome finding letters sometimes.
The new Cube will have a faster processor along with Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support. It will be available October 10th for $119.99.
So, I had several Rokus around the house. I was not happy with their performance when it comes to streaming Plex. I decided to try the Amazon fire TV sticks when amazon was having a sale a couple years back. It seems like I can watch a couple episodes of my TV shows or a movie and I have to restart.
There are so many issues, I wish I could list them all. To shorten the post what devices does everyone use to stream in the home? I am considering a Nvida Shield, but that might be overkill. And I have 3 TVs I want to hook devices upto.
