I'm writing this as a reaction to the recent Tauna video that included rumors about possible characters coming to the game, including several Alpha Flight ones. I want to start off by saying that I don't know how much trust to put into his or any other content creator's leaks/rumors and this post really is not about that. Nor am I asking for any new characters to be added to the game.
My intention with this post is to let the game devs know (if they happen to catch this post) that as a huge and long-time fan of Alpha Flight I really hope that if characters from that team are added into the game, that Vindicator (Heather) is prioritized over Guardian (Mac).
Heather lead Alpha Flight for the vast majority of the team's run. She took over leadership of the team in issue 17 and started wearing the Vindicator/Guardian battle suit in issue 32. She was the leader of Alpha Flight for over 100 issues of their 130 issue first run and returned as the leader in volume 2. She is as much a member of Alpha Flight as any other character and was on the team for much longer than Mac was.
I know there is the argument that she wasn't in the team's original line-up but Mac was. But as we've seen with the X-men and other teams, that doesn't decide how the team looks when they are added to the game. Heather is the iconic Alpha Flight character. People know Mac because he was there for the team's first appearance (in Uncanny X-Men) and in the team's title debut, but Heather is the heart and soul of the team.
Again, I'm not asking the devs to put her or any other Alpha Flight characters into the game. All I'm asking is that if Alpha Flight is being considered for the game then earlier in their development would be a good time to ask for this and I want the devs to know that there is love out there for Heather and I would hope they would give her the respect she is due as the leader of Alpha Flight.

For those who don’t know, Alpha Flight was a Canadian Superhero team created in the comics by the Canadian government to get Wolverine back under their thumb.
I think the movie should have the the Aloha Flight team assemble (heheh) and lose to a villain in their first film. This prompts the Canadian Government to release “Weapon X” at the very end of the movie, a secret mutant that they have been repeatedly freezing on and off for several decades.
This will allow them to give Wolverine his story, and they could even make it similar to that of Bucky, where they only let him out to fight the battles they couldn’t, only they have been doing it since the 18th century.
I think this could probably be one of the most organic ways to do it, because I can’t think of many ways to explain how we didn’t see him during the infinity saga if he was out running around for 300+ years. Having the Canadian government using him as a weapon could also be one of his reasons for leaving and joining the X-Men.

A bolt of golden energy shot across the pristine lawn of James Hudson, bursting a soda can atop his picnic bench. Before the sugary beverage could even soak into the grass beneath it, a woman violently dove from the sky and grabbed the husk of the can. Crunching it tightly into an aluminum ball, she threw it at the old man sitting in his lawn chair. For anyone else, this would have been terrifying, but for James, it was Thursday.
The former superhero raised his gloved hand and caught the metal waste like a baseball. He smiled and gave the girl a thumbs-up as she landed next to him before placing the can into a recycling bin next to his chair.
“That’s six, sweetheart!” he proudly declared. The woman pressed a button on the side of her head which lifted her crimson visor and revealed her emerald eyes. She was Claire Hudson, his granddaughter and heir to the Guardian namesake. What she wore was the very suit, albeit modified over the decades, that he had worn as far back as 1950. The red stripes ran down her shoulders to her hips, with one branching off along her chest to form half of a maple leaf.
“I think my aim is getting better coming out of that last arc, eh?” she suggested as she dusted off her boots.
“Well, you didn’t miss me entirely, so that’s good, but you were point three…no point four degrees off,” he critiqued before cracking a smile, “I’m kidding, Claire, you did great! I’m so proud of you.”
“You always say that, grandpa, but…thanks,” she replied, leaning down to kiss his forehead, “I love you.”
“I love you too, Claire,” he repeated. Even though he’d seen her in that same costume every week for almost 5 months, it still brought tears to the old man’s eyes. She was the spitting image of her grandmother, from those beautiful green eyes to the orange-red hair that flowed from the back of her suit and the lily white skin that almost blended in with the Guardian colors. What stood before him was the culmination of their family’s tireless work to defend their homeland. He couldn't be more proud.
“You want to go again? I can get some more pop cans from the kitchen,” she offered. James nodded, but before she could head inside, a blindingly bright white portal opened next to the two. Hi, I‘m new to Hotas and I play a lot of Star Citizen, so I‘m thinking of getting a Setup from Virpil. As I don’t want to spend 1000$+ just for more fun in SC, will I be able to use the stick also in other games like Call of Duty? I know this question sounds weird. I was thinking about something like using the thumb stick for movement and configuring sprint, crouch, switch weapons and so on to other keys on the Virpil Alpha. As I‘d like to use a thumb stick for movement over a keyboard.
Does anyone know if this works?
TLDR: This setup is hard to use and I need help improving it!
I recently purchased the Alpha yoke from Honeycomb and really want to like it, but I am faced with a major dilemma: mounting the yoke on my desk is an incredible pain in the rear. I frequently use my PC for non-flight sim things, so I need to be able to remove the yoke often. The desk is too thick to use the mounting clamps, so it seems like I have to resort to using the adhesive pad/suction cup. This creates a whole new issue, the adhesive will wear out and possible take the surface off of my desk if I constantly remove it. Even when the yoke is mounted with the suction cup, it is really annoying to use my keyboard. Overall the setup doesn't work for me and I would really like some advice on how to alter it to suit this desk and my needs!
Furthermore, what is the rationale behind stopping and starting ongoing series so often anyway? I think we're up to Vol. 14 or 15 of the Punisher... Anyways...
It's kinda obvious at this point that the state of this game doesn't represent what would be a final product, Free to play or not this is easily one of the worst AAA Multiplayer launches I've seen.
There's been no fixes and won't be any until after the Holidays for the horrible servers and issues people are having in the game, it's like playing a CoD game in the 360 era but worse
BTB as a whole is busted and even Competitive is starting with unbalanced matches, which in turn is messing with people's challenge progression,
speaking of challenges the weeklys aren't worth the time put into them, the week 1 visor was clearly for show as we've since got progressively worse rewards each week.
Cheaters are starting to run rampant which 343 knew would happen and have nothing to combat it, Considering Activision has been taking Flak for it since the launch of Warzone you'd have thought 343 would have been paying attention to other F2P games and how they work,
But that would require too much common sense, as we know which parts of F2P games 343 have been taking notes from and that's the MTX stuff...

And can the UI get a overhaul? It's easily one of the most basic ugly and slow loading interfaces I've seen, it's fast enough to tell me about Esports shit and takes forever to get to my season progress.

- I hear there's a new version of the yoke coming out in 2022 with hall effect sensors, is it worth it to wait for this new version?
- Is it worth it to upgrade to a yoke from a Thrustmaster stick?

I've seen people wear the jackets with NASA, Apollo, and Space Shuttle patches. It features the "Remove Before Flight" tags.
Are they a reproduction of jackets that were assigned to astronauts? If not, are there places I can get actual astronaut clothing?
