Hey guys, so I was recently arrested for a DUI (pulled over at 2:30 am going 85 mph and blew a .09 on the field). the issue is that I have a previous wet reckless that I am still on probation for. Does anyone have any idea what are my consequences gonna look like?
My girlfriend is hoping to travel to California on the 9th but can't get a ride unless there's something for her uncle to see, and he's interested in science and tech. Any suggestions?
Iβm moving to the Bay Area for a job in SF proper, but want to know if I can avoid the SF county local tax if my primary residence is in either of the neighboring counties ?
Thanks for any advice yaβll!
I could not find any info so Iβm asking going to Reddit on this. How many windmills on the Altamont Pass are not working/obsolete and are there plans to take them down?
460 new cases in Alameda were reported (based on the statistics that come up on google), while California had 1915 total that day reported. Slightly concerning, weβve been hovering around 100 cases a day for quite some time and just shot up like crazy for yesterday.
Anyone have any insight or ideas about what caused the spike? Iβve been reading the spike in the other western coast states, hopefully itβs not a trend
Not me BTW

Here is my research on voting for June in California (and Alameda). Please push back if you think I'm wrong on any of these issues, I didn't go into extensive depth, it was more like 2 hours at a coffee shop.
68 - Vote Yes. Bond for Infrastructure for Flooding, Parks, Environment and other shit. Because no one opposes it except like one dumb Republican guy. It's pretty basically good.
69 - Vote Yes. Because diesel is dumb, and the only against it are like two crappy Republicans. California has always been on the stronger side of environmental regulations. Let's keep it that way.
70 - Vote No. It's a trap, just because it has greenhouse gasses in the title people will mistakenly vote yes. It is about cap and trade for Greenhouse Gases. Unless you hate the earth and want to see it burn and all of humanity die in flames, then vote Yes.
71 - Vote Yes. It is some ballot Measure Amendment I donβt actually know what it does, but literally everyone is for it, and no arguments against it on the sample ballot. I can only assume itβs something good for streamlining the democratic process or something. Whatever.
72 - Vote Yes. Rainwater Capture Systems. This is a no brainer. It allows citizens to legally capture rainwater and does not raise property taxes if you install rainwater collection.
US Senate CA 1st Pick: Kevin de Leon - for schools, environment, etc.
2nd Pick: Dianne Feinstein - Because she is all-powerful and will win anyway. Probably.
Secretary of State 1st Pick: Alex Padilla
Governor 1st Pick: John Chiang - Fiscally conscious, but progressive. Has done well as our Treasurer. Not slimy, totally reasonable and honest seeming dude.
2nd Pick: Delaine Eastin - Educator background. For Universal healthcare in CA. Seems totally chill. First female governor of CA!!!
3rd Pick: Antonio Villaraigosa - More of a centrist. Likes charter schools. Seems cool.
4th Pick: Gavin Newsom - Single Payer Healthcare as main Platform. Won't stop talking about how he was mayor of SF. From everyone who has ever met him: is a sleazeball, and is trying too hard. But he'll win anyway so who cares.
Lt. Governor - This is a tough one, would love other people's opinions. 1st Pick: Jeff Bleich - Tons of experience in White House under Obama and close friends with him. Chair of Fullbright scholarship board.
2nd Pick: Eleni Kounalakis - Solid career work as ambassador with Hungary.
3rd Pick: Ed Hernandez - All about healthcare! Is an optometrist. That's all I got.
