EDIT: COIN IS A SCAM...DO NOT BUY
I'm sure you have all heard about the Adidas Originals Metaverse NFT's in the crypto news. There is also a token that has been recently release under the same name. However, I cannot seem to work out of this is a scam or not.
Selling of the token is locked (red flag), there is no telegram or official statement regarding this coin from Adidas and nothing on social media about a release of a token.
However, I can see some large exchange wallets have bought the coin very early on. I have checked the wallets of Binance 14 and others that have purchased the coin and all seems to check out.
Am I missing something here? I am not the best navigator of Etherscan so I may be missing more red flags etc. Any tips for confirming wether something is or isnt a scam in a case like this would be much appreciated.

As of this edit 18:18GMT 3.12.21, there has been no rug pull yet. However, please do not consider buying this until this is confirmed legit! Im still a crypto noob and just want answers of why large exchanges have seemingly bought this token when lots of red flags are obviously present!
EDIT: DO NOT BUY! Almost certainly a scan token. My friend got a response from GMoney and he said it was a scam token. No response as to why he did not warn anyone.
Still very intrigued as to how they have these exchanges as holders!

I may sound smooth and this could be totally irrelevant. I will say I tried to buy some ADIDAS coin but wasn't able to find a platform I could get it on. Any ideas for this?
Hey Arsenal fans, did the US Adidas website not sell the Originals collection this year? I can't find it. That's where I've bought it from the other years (I'm in the US, so it makes sense).
