A list of puns related to "Accessory breast"
Donβt get me wrong because I really love being able to breastfeed. It means so much to me and I plan on doing it for a long time. So I am not complaining at all. Itβs just I constantly hear this being touted as a breastfeeding benefit and I canβt relate to it :(
Itβs been a rough journey but my son has been EBF since we left the hospital. They pretty much forced us by pressure into feeding him a little of those premade similac bottles because he was jaundiced. But once we left there I got a LC to come to into our home and never waivered from breastmilk again.
If it hadnβt been for all the support from my husband and family I would have given up though. We tried 3 different pediatricians before we found one supportive of exclusively breastfeeding. My son was premature and jaundiced so it took him a month to get back to birthweight but now he steadily gains 4-6 oz a week!
I was terrified of not producing enough milk so I threw lots of money at lactation cookies/teas/supplements. Eaten more oats than I ever have in my life! I wonder now how much of it was worth it because low supply is super rare in actuality and it was probably all in my head.
Iβd do it all over again because breastfeeding means a lot to me but if I knew now what I didnβt know then Iβd have more confidence in myself and save hundreds of dollars. Also wish I had watched βthe Milky Wayβ documentary before I ever even gave birth because it was so eye opening.
So all that to say, if anyone elseβs breastfeeding journey has been anything but free, Iβm positively here with you & we got this!
Iβm 15 For about a year now Iβve had thickening in my left armpit, it feels soft and lumpy. However, I realized whenever Iβm on my period, it seems to ache and swell up a bit more and when I touch it too much it makes the area ache.
Iβve seen my doctor about this and he told me it was most likely accessory breast tissue and is not concerned considering it hasnβt changed and the fact it responds to hormonal changes. Iβm trying not to worry about it but whenever it aches it scares me a bit :(
Any mamas out there that breastfed/breast pumped and have that extra boob under their armpits?? I HATE IT. It looks disgusting and ugly and I canβt even wear bathing suits or a tank top without hating myself... My OBGYN said it should go down after Iβm done breast pumping and Iβve started to wean but I just donβt see it going down. Any moms out there with a similar experience and can tell me what happened with theirs or what to do??? Iβve thought about getting it surgically removed but I just donβt know if I can spend the money to do so...
Hi everyone! Weβre expecting our 2nd child in June. Itβs been 3 years since I weaned my son and even longer since I used a breast pump so Iβve been wondering...
Do I need a new pump? A lot has changed since I got mine five years ago. If you have a model you love, tell me about it! I had a pretty basic Medela but it seems there are a lot more options out there now.
using a nursing pillow the 2nd time around Y/N? I liked the My Brest Friend nursing pillow but once I got the hang of nursing my son I stopped using it. I had borrowed it so right now I donβt have one and am deciding whether I need to buy one. Anyone who had another kid find they needed a pillow the 2nd time around BFing too?
What are some breast pump accessories I need to buy along with my breast pump and how many of whatever accessory?

I am finished pumping as my little one is turning 1 next week. Since no more kids for me I am truly finished forever. I know the pump itself should not be shared but is there a program for the numerous accessories like flanges, bottles, hoses, and everything that can be sterilized? I put a fair amount of money into these things over the course of two kids and it seems like a waste to throw it all away.
I have some ameda locking rings and locking disks that came part of our breast pump package. I do not know what these are for. Why is there a hold in the locking ring? Is that for a nipple if I wanted to attach one to the bottle? Why cant the locking ring just be filled in without a hole? Just a screw on top. Thanks for the help :)
Iβm 7.5 months pregnant with my first baby and plan on breastfeeding as well as pumping (to stock up for when I go back to work and so others can feed the little dude like daddy and grandparents). I found out I am eligible for a free Ameda Purely Yours electric double pump through my insurance. Anyone have experience with this brand? Any tips on establishing a feeding/pumping schedule? I will be taking a breastfeeding class offered through my hospital soon but wanted to get some input here. Thank you!
I don't understand... if the NFL just gave all the money that they spent on Pink shoes, pink whistles, pink gloves, shirts, hats...etc. Wouldn't the Breast Cancer Charity be better off? It seems like the only one making money on these purchases are the clothing vendors.
Does anyone know if I can use the Munchkin Steamguard Microwave Sterilizer (which is typically used to sterilize bottles) to sterilize my breast pump accessories rather than buying the Medela Quick Clean Micro-Steam bags for this purpose?
I've got quite prominent axillary breast tissue / accessory breast removal. Ever since I can remember I've had this and I'm kind of getting to an age now where the only insecurity I have body wise is to do with my armpits (ugh).
I'm looking to get a procedure done privately in the UK, and have been looking for plastic surgeons, what kind of surgeon should I be looking for? I don't necessarily need a boob job - I think they're fine as it is... it's just the accessory breast which is the issue. Most places I find offer liposuction, which I don't think will be effective for my target area - I think an actual excision of the tissue will do the job that I need.
What kind of specialist should I be looking and which category of procedure would this fall under, aesthetic breast surgery? augementation? reduction? reconstructive? Or would this be something completely different as a arm reduction/brachioplasty type thing?
Consultations cost in excess of Β£200 hence coming to reddit first to narrow down who I should be looking for.
Thanks in advance!
