**Who are we?**
The 2nd Battalion, Parachute Regiment, We are a milsim group based on the UK armed forces group of the same name. We are a light infantry unit focusing on realism, while not making it SO realistic it saps the fun out of the game, Using our team of Zeus's to bring fun and excitement to our operations.
We are built on a couple of elements:- HQ > Our leading men, which have real experience to back us and allow us to grow
- 1 Platoon, A company > Our boots on the ground fighting unit, lead by a dedicated Platoon HQ
- Sniper Platoon, Support Company > A group of precise marksmen watching over us as we execute operations
- JHC > Transport and overwatch for the boots on the ground
(Guns Plt and Mortar Plt are a WIP at the moment)
**What do we offer?**
We offer a unit that strives for everyone to enjoy themselves whilst still keeping a hold of our roots. We also do offer a realistic and mature environment where we try to simulate realism to the best of our abilities. Training is held often to ensure skills and drills are perfect for operations, within which para jumping is a key component for any troop to master.

Why does the Parachute Regiment only have two battalions?
I get that the 4th is reserve and the 1st is SOF but curious considering how often the Paras get deployed (especially in Iraq/Afghanistan) why weren't they expanded in number?
