Hi all,
I am an expatriate living outside the country. My parents were visiting the hills and I suspect they were in the regions currently cut off, and flooded, somewhere near Nainital. I've been out of touch with them for the past 48 hours or so.
I'm trying to find a disaster management hotline, to ask if they've been sighted, rescued or ... not. Any information that you can provide will be very helpful.
I'm aware of the hotline set up by the Gujarat Govt. regarding a group of pilgrims from the state but as far as I can understand, the service is restricted to only them (the pilgrims).

edit: Update: Called 10-20+ times on all the hotlines, but no luck. Although finally got in touch with my folks. They're okay. Holed up safely. Thanks again, /u/FrostyOrdinary8752
