A list of puns related to "Zoology"
I've wanted to work with animals forever, this next year I'm planning attending school for just that. But I'm unsure of what degree one actually needs. I want to work in basically any field as long as it's in relation to animals.
I had a really interesting chat on my show that I thought y'all might like. Dr Arik Kershenbaum is a Zoologist who's written a guide to how the laws of the universe we know are likely to shape what extraterrestrial life is like. You can check it out at https://www.highbrowdrivel.com/a-zoologists-guide-to-aliens-Dr-Arik-Kershenbaum/
One of the things that struck me about the conversation is the beauty and simplicity of the message. That as far as we know, there are basic principles that apply to earth that should apply everywhere, and so the chance of extraterrestrial life being completely unlike anything we've ever seen is pretty low.
Wondering whether you agree?
Hi all! I am new to teaching and I am currently slated to teach high school zoology next semester. I have a couple of questions.
I am open to doing almost anything as the district has no curriculum for this course. I would love any ideas you all have!
Thank you!
Hey y'all!
So as the title says, I'm a high school drop out that went back and got a GED. I'm currently in the process of grabbing and upping my grades in order to meet the minimum requirements for the zoology program. I'm just wondering if anyone has done anything similar? Been in a similar situation? I'm feeling a little overwhelmed and anxious about applying next to someone with their HS diploma. I couldn't see anything for mature students either when looking at the program, so I'm not sure if that even exists for this?
Naturally I'm aware dropping out is stupid so please don't be an asshole lol.
I am also new here so if there are any rules I am breaking I am unaware of them so please tell me π
So from what I know, zoology focuses more on how ecosystem affects animals, then their physical conditions, diet etc. Whereas I'm wildlife biology it's more focused on the interaction between the nature and animals (?) but I still don't have a clear idea. I hope someone can help me out with this! Thank you (:
Soo, incoming freshman here :)) I just went through my orientation and I am a bit confused on what classes I need for my general courses to become the zoology major. Am i supposed to enter all the classes that the general course list gives or are they just suggestions?? Like am I taking purely biology and chemistry classes this year or will I be taking biology with english and an elective in there?? Sorry if these are dumb, Iβm just very confused.
I have a small stack of zoological post cards that I'd love to send you! I'll be putting a special messagw and literary quotes on it and getting them in the mail in the next two days. Pm me your address (and favorite author if you wish!) If you want one. 5 spots!
Update: last few taken!
Hi! I just wanted to use this post to say that if any zoology, animal bio, wildlife biology students want to be friends please comment on here! I don't see a lot of us around so I'd love to make a group chat or something so we won't be so alone when uni starts π₯°
I haven't been accepted yet but hopefully I am

I developed a liking to ethology so I wish I knew more about this topic.
Iβve got university of wyoming as my #1 grad school and was hoping for insight about the application process!
The zoology samples are absolutely NOT for me. They came straight from the website and each sprayed once inside the card to smell.
I have a 10ml TF decant of Plum Japonais. I can't speak to the authenticity because I bought it from somebody off this sub. Usage is shown.

I am asking $25 for everything because I just can't stand the fragrances.
So, my supervisor sent me a book from the 1600s that is in Latin. I am a Biology student and never worked with the Latin language academically and because I can speak spanish, my supervisor thought I can figure this out somehow!:))))
To continue my education, I need to figure out this species "Pica Alba" that is explaned about in the picture I attach here and I need to figure out the details that have been mentioned in the text about this bird. I tried the word-by-word method but it did not help to figure the whole message out! Could you help me, please?

Dear Hello Games,
Please allow me to build a zoo comprised of all my favourite companions. Maybe even allow me to trap some sentinels in glass boxes at my base? Would it be too much to ask for biologicals horrors as well? Haha.
Love NMS and all the updates you've been putting out, just something I've been wanting to add to my primary save file!
Iβm an incoming freshman and Iβd love to have feedback about the program at this university. (I will take literally any comments about it)
