A list of puns related to "Wretch"
This was a wonderfully fun episode, but one thing that is still sticking with me is the decision by Vax to give Opash's diary to the Raven Queen's temple instead of Bahamut. To be perfectly honest, I think it felt like the right choice, simply because of the reactions of the two temple elders. This leads me to wonder, however - do you think that VM just avoided a potential disaster by keeping it away from those who may keep or research it, or was this an overly paranoid gut reaction? Is that book actually gone, or will it somehow avoid destruction? Did Vax make the right call?
Honestly, my thoughts (I think) mirrored Vax's - I was cool with it being handed over to the Temple of Bahamut right up until the Scalebearer mentioned researching it, and that made me feel like something wasn't quite right. I wonder seriously if, by not handing over the book, the twins may have just avoided the corruption of Bahamut's temple in Vasselheim and, possibly, the theft and unleashing again of the Horn of Orcus.
What do you think?
edit: my phone autocorrected "Orcus" to "Orcas", but it enabled /u/johngeush's wretched pun. Congrats on receiving my most reluctant upvote to date.

Arguably the best punk band in Canada right now. This is a bit of a shameless self plug, as I recorded/mixed this LP, but I'm so pleased with the final results that I have to share it.
MY MAN!
Body tense, eyes predatory, palms clasping the other in turn repeatedly, now the moment. Broad sunny daylight, in public, who turns out to be a young black man, snatched a purse, coming loose of its owner with the barest resistance his hand could tell. Running for a getaway, the yell reached his ears from behind.
His place to check his gains in peace and rifle the contents was boldly outdoors, leaning against a wall.
Back at the scene the owner wished they could tear his head off and stash it in the purse. He has no qualms going about his life β sleeping, gaming, breakfast, normal stuff. Earning an honest living is one personβs way, robbery his.
Why do people steal? Excitement despite wealth, are children unaware, starvation, poverty, feed your own kids.
So whatβs this good for nothingβs excuse?
Broad sunny daylight, where any alert citizen can see, entering a house he most likely did not pay for via the basement window. Thinks what he finds heβll sell, because a different kind of score from the purse. Guaranteed no cash lying around in an abode. At least in plain sight anyway β but jewellery, electronics, what thieves know, the like somebody would buy.
The life catches up to the thug when a homeowner surprises him.
The purse theft had lots of witnesses, so what? None of them had his legs.
The man demands to know who the intruder is, dropping his groceries, charges a wretch. A struggle, which ends with the young man escaping his grasp. The owner doesnβt call it quits, a chase ensues in the home. The young thief is soon through a laundry window, because the owner loses his grip.
The youth is outside and runs for all heβs worth. A good distance away stops, catching a breath. Again outruns comeuppance. Has he? He begins walking after, but in no time at all while this owner either canβt match his legs, tripped on a pothole.

I've had a difficult time picturing the wretch from sort of scattered physical descriptors of her, and I've seen some varied fanart but don't really know where to find more. If you have some favorites, would you mind posting links? want to appreciate best girl in all her glory
So Iβm a 6th level Paladin & Rutterskin bit my celestial warhorse (poisoned it) and then reduced it to zero hit points... In the βfind steedβ text it declares that the summoned steed disappears upon receiving zero hit-points... My dm suggested however that since it was reduced to zero hit points while poisoned the rutterskinβs text applies βIf the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 13 Constitution saving throw against disease or become poisoned. At the end of each long rest, the poisoned target can repeat the saving throw, ending the effect on itself on a success. If the target is reduced to 0 hit points while poisoned in this way, it dies and instantly transforms into a living abyssal wretch. The transformation of the body can be undone only by a wish spell.β
So can my summoned warhorse (conjured by βfind steedβ spell) be turned into an Abyssal wretch? And if so, does it remain one if I summon it according to the rules? My DM is newer & I felt this was an error in ruling since my warhorse doesnβt technically die but disappears when it reaches 0 hit points... So I just want to be sure this ruling was correct... Before I accept the fact Iβm doomed with an Abyssal wretch for the rest of my find steed spells lol

Does Wretch status make more pvp encounters? I got it two days ago and I'm now in the middle on my new game +, and still no luck with getting any blue invasions....I'm on soul lvl 151 and soul memory 1.7 million in blood covenant, on ps 4 with my dragon knight build - maybe I should go higher with my character soul memory to get more action?
