The current situation is beyond embarrassing for a capital city.
I like going to Wellington Circus (near the playhouse) sometimes just because it's a very nice, pretty quiet quaint little space to walk through or sit, listening to music or anything like that. Are there any other similar places in town?
I thought the population in Group 3 (65 years old+) were supposed to be getting vaccinated from the start of May (https://covid19.govt.nz/covid-19-vaccines/our-covid-19-vaccination-plan/covid-19-vaccine-rollout-groups/#group-3-%E2%80%94-getting-underway)?
I have four elderly grandparents 80 years+ in Wellington and they've told me they haven't heard anything about when they're getting vaccinated. No letters, no contact from their GP or DHB at all.
It seems pretty sus. I'm mainly asking because I saw this 20-year old Wellington woman boast on social media that she got vaccinated (not a healthcare worker [hospo], no health conditions - plays netball recreationally). So how did she get vaccinated before everyone else? I want to make sure my grandparents get vaccinated because Covid is back in Melbourne big time.
Iβm looking at getting an eReader. Iβve always preferred real books but I struggle to make it to the library, and I go tramping a lot and struggle to find my smallest book and read it slowly enough so Im beginning to accept I might be better off bending my βno tech in the bushβ rule.
Iβve been reading different reviews and trying to figure out what is more compatible with WCL but Iβm still a bit muddled up.
From what I can see, Kindle and Kobo are the best rated brands, but Kindle is not compatible with WCLβs Overdrive setup (although other sites say kindle and overdrive are compatible?).
Does this sound correct? Does anyone have a Kobo and rate it? Any tips about modes to look into or avoid? From what Iβve read, it seems getting a model with buttons to read one-handed sounds like a good idea.
Looking for some beard and male grooming stuff.
