Finished my Cel-Shaded BMO. 100% custom paint over a damaged BMO Noir. Also my first real project with my first airbrush. (Im a traditional painter/watercolorist, so airbrushing had a learning curve.) using my cricut to create custom masking stencils was so helpful! reddit.com/gallery/rpyzwa

Krita watercolorists, what is your favourite watercolor brush or brush pack? For the default watercolor brushes that decrease opacity as you press harder, is there any way to make it act like a normal brush (that decrease opacity when you press lighter)?

Hello, this is my first time posting here,

I can create stylized and detailed B&W animal portraits and watercolor portraits!

I can create a sketched and stylized digital illustration of your pet dog with a simple border for $10.

For $25, I can paint your pet in watercolor! And for an additional $10 I'll add a nice flower, woodland, or leafy circular frame! All I need is an image of your pet that you’d like me to illustrate, and then I'll get started!

Depending on the number of requests, turnaround should be about 3-4 days. I can send the image via Google Drive, or an email, whichever you'd prefer. All artwork is hand-painted/hand-drawn and then scanned and cleaned digitally! Just DM me here on Reddit!

I tried following a YouTube tutorial. I find that I’m having a hard time painting. It’s hard to put the paint on the canvas, like really sticky. Should I add water or just more paint? I’m a watercolorist so I think I’m having a hard time adjusting. Tips are appreciated! Thanks

Gift recommendations for an experienced watercolorist?

Hey all,

I'm brainstorming for a gift for a friend who is experienced with both gouache and watercolor. I'm new to art in general for the record. She has a lot of supplies (nice notebooks & paper & premium paints), so it's a lil difficult to buy something absolutely essential she doesn't have. That said, here are some specifics she might like:

She likes her cats (one orange one, one black one), nice notebooks, and studio ghibli films. She also likes Animal Crossing / Overwatch, and anything with a cute aesthetic. If there are any recommendations that would be great!
