A list of puns related to "Vytautas"
Sveiki, noriu įsigilinti ir suprasti V. Landsbergio politinį palikimą, tad jei kas malonėtų aprašyti bent kelis sprendimus, sukėlusius ažiotažą, man būtų įdomu paskaityti :)
Edit: Dėkui visiems prisidėjusiems prie diskusijos, perskaičiau įdomių dalykų.
Hi!
I have been learning Lithuanian for a couple of years now and I am finally starting to hear differences in the way people talk. For some reason, some people have a more nasally sound while some people, like maybe Vytautas Kernagis, seem to have a very open sound? Is this something others notice too or is this in my imagination? I may be looking into this too much. What should I look for in different accents?
Also, do you have any good examples of people/videos where they use clearly different accents for me to try to tell apart? It's also difficult for me sometimes since one grandparent was from Kaunas and the other from the rural Northwest of the country and I remember them sometimes having very different words or ways of saying things.
Thanks!

Hopefully I'm not the only one thinking that way
Last time I found a suitable bride for the Crown Prince of Finland, which was somewhat easy since a wedding between him and a Finnish lady was planned OTL.
But now I have a bigger problem to tackle, as the King has ties with several dynasties in Europe and claims on one particular Principality in Europe, Monaco.
His father, Wilhelm Karl, was raised in the Mediterranean town and was a grandson of a former Prince of Monaco. And at the time of the Great War, he was a claimant to this throne, as the heir apparent, Prince Louis, was not married and only had one illegitimate daughter. But France stepped in because Monaco was in its sphere and did not wanted a German-led Principality near their naval base of Toulon, and so Princess Charlotte was adopted by the Grimaldi family. Thus the Urach never inherited Monaco. But with the French Revolution of 1919, the Grimaldi lost everything (and it was a lot) on the mainland and fled to Algeria. Even if Charlotte would not be married by 1936, a wedding between her and the King of Lithuania would be unlikely, as she was born out-of-wedlock and legitimized by the French Republic. This French Noblewoman could fit in the position however, as his father was the man who the Urach gave their claims on Monaco OTL, once again assuming she would not be married by that point. Though I admitt she could became the wife of Karl Gero's brother Prince Albrecht, or King Mindaugas III, should something bad happened to Vytautas II...
Since the Monaco path seems to be a dead end, we'll take a look at the Lithuanian nobility, since we have many choices and it would raise the legitimacy of the King.
The thing is, that with Lithuanian nobility, you'll ofter found noble families that used to be Lithuanian and now are more Polish than Lithuanian (the king probably don't speak Lithuanian either). But, because there is always a but, after looking at family trees for sometimes, I found several brides that could possibly feat in the position :
Who's trapping who? Tatars, we're ready!!

10 trebs are enough to destroy the regenerating gate:) and onagers wipe out the present cavalry. (you can also block their spawn by placing palisades/buildings at the edge)
I am a student from a foreign country. I have a task to write a research essay about a subject I choose. I need at least 5 academic sources to get a grade, but it is tough to find an academic source on my subject. I found the master thesis of someone for my subject in this link https://www.vdu.lt/cris/handle/20.500.12259/126846?mode=full. It says that I must register at University to get the pdf file, but I am not a student there, as you can guess. Anyone a student in Vytautas Didziojo Universitetas here? Can someone send the pdf to me in the link? I asked the author if he could send me the pdf, but he checked my LinkedIn and didn't care :D. For Jasikevičius's sake, pls help me.
He's a pretty big figure in Lithuanian history. I believe he's also very well known in Belarus. In short, he greatly expanded GDL's territory, along with his cousin, King of Poland Jogaila, he won the battle of Grunwald (Žalgirio mūšis) and almost became king of Lithuania. He had ruled over modern territories of Lithuania, Belarus, Poland, Russia and Ukraine. In Polish he's called Witold Kiejstutowicz, in Belarussian Вітаўт, and in Russian Витовт.
