Pores (or something similar) on top of the cap. Cap smooth underneath. Came from a volva. Directly underneath a Douglas fir. Not exactly nondescript… NE Oregon, US near a creek.

I would like some help identifying these, they were picked in Washington state, had volvas and they also had universal veils at younger ages. I believe they are some kind of varient of amanita muscaria. If that is wrong please lmk, thank you in advance.

Found on Vancouver Island, under mostly hemlock trees. Mycelium radiates into the moss but not into any specific wood or needles. Seems to bruise bright pink/purple but not always. Stem snaps fibrous, not cleanly. No volva, no ring. Wtf is this?! Never in my life have I seen anything like this.

Problem Amanita- both found within 2 feet of eachother, bottom left eaten by dear before morning. Volva indistinct to scaly, growing on dead wood and attached to roots. Could it be a pantherina?

Whats this mushroom? Found in Penang, Malaysia. Its gills are free/sinuate, stipe is tapering and without an annulus or volva.
Death caps? Found growing in northern California, I believe Volva is underground but you can still see some attached to the cap on the mushroom to the left. White gills. Will take spore print tonight. Cut open the small puffball-like one and found the classic “hidden gills”

[SPOILERS] is it possible that Freydis is actually a God/dess or a Volva?
I feel like this is so obvious and has been since the character's introduction in episode 5x3 and explains her character's posthumous presence in season 6. To me, Freydis' first meeting with Ivar felt similar to Ragnar's first encounter with Aslaug. The scenes we're equally ethereal. The words she whispered in his ear and the delivery of those words just screamed incantation to me. The strange catatonic state he was left in afterwords, then the infamous 'I AM IVAR THE BONELESS, YOU CANT KILL ME!' scene that followed. This, paired with Freydis' influence on Ivar and throughout season 5B leads me to believe that while Ivar is not likely to be a God, Freydis is. If you stop and think about it, maybe through combination of the blood ritual with Ivar and the physical act with his slave, the child was Ivar's in spirit.
Are these ink cap mushrooms? Found them growing on dead leaves and insumming a decaying stump. Very close together black gills with remnants of a volva of the cap.

[SPOILERS] Margrethe a Volva ???
So I was re-watching season 5A as I always do and noticed on episode 10 Margrethe was in kattegat whilst the battle between the brothers was going on. I noticed margrethe walked into the water and it seemed as if she saw a dead body in the river when it was really a log BUT the dead body she saw was a dead warrior on the battlefield, then she said “ This one is dead , soon they will all be dead “ which got me thinking later on in season 6 they kept referring to her as “ Mad Margrethe “ but could it have been that she was secretly a volva who just simply didnt know she was one or knew how to control the power which kind of drove her mad? I could be blowing it way out of proportion and she could have just been fearing for her life or so but I thought it was interesting what do you guys think? Re watch the scene and let me know
