A list of puns related to "Victoria Jackson"
Not a joke, just thought some might be curious if you'd read the recent post where Victoria Jackson talks about Norm. This is the photo she references.

I just think people need to be aware of this, regardless of which sub this supports better. This needs to be heard.
Usually I avoid listing specific idols as I dislike their stans coming for me, but I have to this time because I'm at loss for words. If y'all don't know recently a number of companies such as H&M, Adidas, and so on have announced they are concerned about cotton from the Chinese area of Xinjiang due to forced labor from the Uighur enslavement camps where basically an active targeted genocide is occurring.
So what do a number of these idol privileged ass celebs decide to do at this moment? Well withdraw support from such brands and basically "condemn" them due to such actions. Or long story short support a genocide yay :)
Honestly fans are already like "omg I trust Lay/anyone, he's a good person" and so on. But honestly these idols are really just, idk, I'm at loss for words due to how disgusted I am.
Also anyone on this subreddit who comments "They have to do this, oh well :( Sucks for those enslaved but I'll continue to stan..." you're part of the problem. If it's so difficult for these idols to not say anything at all cause they want money so bad, then image how it is for all those who are forced into labor camps, and are being persecuted.
Idgaf about any of these brands, but these idols are basically supporting a genocide.
i don't know what i was expecting from victoria, but jackson was the one i was really bummed about
it is not a lie but a fact that the CCP has basically been committing - by definition - genocide against Uyghurs. the concentration camps these people have been placed into are not even new. they've been around, and people just haven't done shit due to the country's political and economic hold
supporting the country's interests above all else? no, that's a pathetic excuse to make the immoral decision. you're supporting forced labor. you're supporting genocide. i understand they're worried about their standing in china, but in my eyes, complicity is literally what has led to this point.
this isn't defamation of the country for christ's sake. this is calling out facts and absolutely well-deserved criticism. this is a violation of human rights.
DISCLAIMER: no sinophobia please. there's a difference between criticizing the CCP and the entirety of chinese people.
I am sick and tired of crazy kpop fans verbally attacking me every time the question of China is brought on the table and I have to explain why I stopped supporting those 3 Idols and all the celebrities who have publicly backed Beijing on the One-China policy and\or on the genocide of the Uighurs in Xinjiang province. I am well aware that they might be pressured to do it, but I have decided to follow my principles... Like, bruh is it a crime to support democracy and human rights in this community!?
β¦and holy shit! I forgot how wacky she is/was!!
I've been able to find the transcript to this but not the video.
It's their anniversary and they're trapped on a desert island; Victoria Jackson's character has made increasingly brilliant and complex gifts for her husband, making Paul Simon's gifts for her look like shite in comparison.
I specifically remember she made him a functioning wristwatch where she used pig whiskers or something for the hands. His gifts to her were along the lines of "I found you a leaf that you could use as a fan."
The last scene shows Paul Simon running off in embarrassment because her gifts are so much better than his, and Victoria Jackson reveals that she also somehow made him a whole-ass functioning motorcycle.
βThatβs how therapists fucking are. Theyβre just trying to get your money.β And then he says the psychiatrist tries to have sex with her.β

The Alexis Vogel post reminded me of this other makeup infomercial from back in the day! Same type of thing, the bombshell type makeup. She does get into skincare, and had a whole line, talks a lot about fixing flaws, which is funny, would never happen these days.
I felt that season 1 gave limited screen time/character development for their respective characters, but season 2 really gave Victoria and Oliver a chance to show their true talents as Dani and Peter. In season 1 Luke didn't have as much character development/depth compared to his siblings although Peter really stole the show in season 2. Oliver's accents (from a non US/UK ear) sounded natural and convincing, while his charm and allure drew in audiences, despite knowing his sinister intentions.
Victoria also played a great lead as Dani, switching from her darker character Nell/the baby of the Crain family siblings in season 1, to being a more optimistic and nurturing maternal figure for the children in Bly.
Shout out also to Rahul Kohli in his portrayal of Owen. Not only was Owen an insightful and lovable gem but he was also a great foil to Peter Quint's selfish and narcissistic character.
Overall I really enjoyed season 2 and can't wait to see what season 3 has in store for us.
So I loved the brand in my younger years. Spent several years not wearing make up do to eye irritation (not from make up). Now I am ready to replace all my old stuff and found out the Victoria Jackson line is no longer around. Does anyone that used it have a recommendation for a different product line that they feel is similar to the brand?
Mainly due to the video clip seen here:

I like seeing that people seem to remember Victoria as "from SNL" -- although they simultaneously remember her as Victoria Jackson from right wing activism, too... but the woman speaking here also reminds people of Cecily's "The Woman You Wish You Hadn't Started a Conversation With at a Party"...
It's the only stand-up from the 13 years of comedians that isn't easily found online, and I haven't been able to find it anywhere, not for sale physically, not for sale to download, not on YouTube and not on pirate sites. It's like this one episode just disappeared while all the rest are preserved. Help!

Iβm really confused every time Jackson and Victoria have a conversation, I always feel like Iβve missed an episode and have no idea what theyβre talking about? Is this to do with station19?
