90% of why I listen to PMT is for its creativity and overall hilarity and that they never take sports too seriously. Just wanted to shout out the fellas ability to read a room and adjust the way they interview people. Yesterday's interview with Dick Vermeil I thought was an all timer as far as the rare serious football interview. Going into it I figured it would be a snooze fest, but boy was I wrong. You could feel how amped up Dick Vermeil was getting talking to them and it felt very genuine. It never felt like fake rah-rah football guy talk. Also big kudos to Dick Vermeil at 85 even going on PMT and actually being very passionate and candid. Typically you only get former players/coaches to open up with other players/coaches. Interviews like this are a great change of pace from time to time. What do you all think?

I’m considering having DiamondRensu make me a custom band to go with my engagement ring that’s already in the works, but I’ll be waiting a few months to order it. Until then, I ordered an inexpensive duplicate off of Etsy to try out the style and hold me over until we order the real thing. It’s listed as 925 Sterling Silver with gold Vermeil. I’m reading conflicting information upon my research. Is this going to be durable? Obviously it’s just a gold plating vs an actual gold ring but I’d like it to last me a few months to a year of daily wear before we order it custom from Ankit.

Some background: I own mostly fine jewelry but I don’t have the budget right now to buy other solid gold pieces. I have a few staple pieces that I wear daily and I’d like to get more to switch it up a bit.

I have browsed pretty much every shop on Etsy and most of the popular online websites but i haven’t committed to any yet because a lot of these places are really vague about the materials (they don’t disclose the thickness of the plate, the only exception I found is Linjer)

The quality and thickness of the gold plate is very important to me since I’d want each piece to last at least a couple years.

I’d love to hear your recommendations and/or experiences with certain companies/shops! Also I’m mostly looking for rings and earrings (in yellow gold)! Thanks :)
