The Unity Server is close to celebrating 3 years online, and we are looking for more active players to join us! We're a long-term focused server with around 15 active players, so we would like to see people working towards larger projects and dedicating a fair amount of game time to the community and economy! We are an 18+ server, no exceptions! We are looking for active players, if you drop off, you are subject to removal. We are a casual server, but we are consistently online and interacting with each other both in discord and on the server.

The server reset for 1.18 is on December 16th, and we’d love to have you join us on our fresh world!

Rules

1. Respect other player's builds and personal property, generally just don't be a dick

2. Please build bases within a 300-2500 block radius from spawn. Please contact an admin if you are unsure or feel you have a special case and plan to build somewhere outside the designated area.

3. Spawn is reserved for shops and community projects/services, any bases or unapproved projects built there are subject to removal.

4. As this is a community based server...be friendly! Reach out to other players if you need help with something, and pitch in if you see another player who could use help. Ultimately, we are hoping this server concept will allow for incredible builds and an especially enjoyable player experience.

5. If you have any issues, whether it be in-game, with another player, with someone on discord, please reach out to an admin ASAP and we will be happy to help you!

6. Please don't invite people to the discord server without asking a mod first, we like to keep track of who came from where so we know the most effective ways of getting new people.

7. Rail Duping, carpet duping, and TNT duping are allowed on the server. The duplication of gravity based blocks such as sand and concrete are currently NOT permitted.

8. The AFK-ing of farms is permitted during late night hours between 3am and 12pm when the server is less active. If you choose to AFK farms with redstone intensive systems or high mob spawns that negatively affect other players online, you are subject to getting kicked temporarily until these hours. The AFK-ing of villagers, passive growth farms such as sugar cane, or small mob farms with fast kill designs are not included in this restriction.

9. The use of X-ray is NOT permitted on the server. If you are caught using X-ray for personal gain you are subject to immediate removal from Uni

The usurper eventually gave the throne to one of his underlings, who forged a document making him the king. During the annoucement of the newest king, one character attempted to assassinate the new king. However one of her friends, who worked under the king stopped her by combat. She was taken to prison where she had blacked out for most of the duration of her stay, and explained she felt as if she were a passanger in her own body when the assassination attempt happened. The new king asked for a favor if he shortened her sentence. she agreed, and the next day her trial began. The jury found her not guilty, however king decided he would cut her trial short; by executing her. After her first death, she was officially exiled from Haven, and that is where the main plot has left off.

We have big plans for the next few seasons, but a lot of our members have gone inactive due to personal reasons, school, work or technical problems and we are tired of seeing the server so dead :/

No Stealing from chests unless it’s for the lore (that cant be an excuse to just take random stuff from chests tho) No killing others villagers You MUST be active in VC (you do not have to be active ALL the time, but some interaction is required) The End is OFF LIMITS as of right now in the smp, it is the last thing we will ever do in this SMP and we would like to keep it that way :)

About a month storywise, a mysterious voice started talking to this character and she couldnt control her body, it was as if it were working on auto. the person who was also occupying her body brought her to our resident rich guy's house and formed a pact with him. they later added another person who had the same ideals as the voice. Vines had been growing around Haven from one of our characters depression, and as he and the girl with the voice in her head began chopping them down, she no longer could control her body and the voice acted again and ended up killing the depressed character, making him lose one canon life. after he was brought back the girl began crying and an emotion breakdown occured. But hey! the guy was no longer depressed.

The girl with the voice in her head became right hand to the king she tried to kill and she was allowed to live in Haven once more.

Then our characters discovered an android, who lived 9000 years ago. they were adopted by two close friends. And right after the original king said he had found an abandoned village which he thinks everyone should see. so he and seven others went to this village, and discovered it was the village of his people. Hi everyone. First time posting, as I've downloaded and played the game for the first time just yesterday.

I've downloaded the DOS version, and oh boy, do I love it. Everything about it, really. But I've heard there's a Unity version out there, which improves upon the game on a technical level, smoothing everything out, as well as adding new functionalities, the one which I find the most important being the Console. So I thought, what harm can be done in giving it a shot?

And so it was that I downloaded it, found it super easy and intuitive to set up, and within 5 minutes I was playing the game. Props to the people who did it. But there's one totally personal issue that I have with it, and I understand this may cause some controversy, but please don't judge me. The issue is, I don't like it. I don't like the increased resolution and aspect ratio, I don't like the smoother controls, the new interface. But I like the Console, primarily.

So, my question is this: is there any way to make the game extremely close to the vanilla/DOS version, with the low pixelated resolution, 4:3 aspect ratio, clunky controls and interface in Unity, while retaining the Console specifically? Thanks in advance.
