A list of puns related to "Uzbeks"
Just last night I had a date with a girl from Tinder. And she was actually only one of the many matches I have. After 5 minutes I mentioned that I learn Uzbek (it's not bragging when it comes up organically).
Instead of being impressed by my interesting and unique personality, she replied: "To be honest Uzbek is not in my Top 3 most beautiful Turkic languages. Isn't it a little useless to learn? If you learn Russian, you can speak to many more people in Central Asian, for example."
It was so offensive. I wish I could have insulted her in Uzbek, but I'm still somewhere between A1-A2. Why can't people just adore me? Why do they feel like telling me their own opinions when it's about ME???
Anyone had similar experiences? This is a safe space, feel free to share.
I see so many posts on this sub praising Uzbek for its simplistic grammar, like English. I want to impress my friends at parties by speaking a foreign language, but don't want to work hard and learn all those annoying grammar rules. I also think Uzbek is a good idea because I don't think any of my friends know it. Can someone point me in the direction of where I should start learning Uzbek or recommend another language I should learn?
Today I started my language learning journey! I did my research on the different dialects of Uzbek and I decided to go with the η§γγγ‘γγ― dialect due to it's sino-tibetan roots with Japanese!(I'm b2 right now, i'm halfway through the Duolingo course)
