A list of puns related to "Unnumbered"
Just feel like talking about it.
The last great offensive against Morgoth by the Noldor a mere 20 years after their long held 400 year siege was broken during Dagor Bragollach.
For me this is easily both the greatest and sadness battle in the entire legendarium. It starts out so promising. The Union of Maedhros realized, and Targon of Gondolin shows up out of blue with thousands strong, and the Dwarves are there. Of course only Thingol omits. Melian, talk some sense into you husban!
But it ends in complete and utter disaster.
The Easterling turncoats.
The father of dragons grand premier (cut short by the Dwarves!)
Fingon beaten into mush by Balrogs.
Hurin killing orcs until he is buried in corpses, then taken alive.
After the battle Melkor has complete unfettered access to all of Middle-earth. (Beleriand) And well, gosh dang it, lets topple the remaining strongholds, and he does. (except Thingol's kingdom which falls from within)
This is the battle that essential hands Middle-earth to Morgoth until the War of Wrath eucatastrophe.
I just bought a Young Thug Jeffery Vinyl and got a unnumbered Version with the "Vinyl me, please" Stamp on the back. But the Vinyl inside is black, not blue/white marbled. Has anyone ever had this version or is it fake? If someone has this, where was it originaly selled ?
Hi
This is possible a trivial question but how do set static route when using unnumbered-address?
With OSPF it self learns the route, both via Multicast and OSPF:
10.1.0.1/32 @[OSPF/10] 00:02:22, metric 200
> to 10.1.0.1 via ge-0/0/0.0
#[Direct/0] 00:02:22, metric 1
> to 10.1.0.1 via ge-0/0/0.0
How can I manually set it via ge-0/0/0.0
when static route?
[edit routing-options static]
+ route 10.1.0.0/32 next-hop ge-0/0/0.0;
root@R01# commit
[edit routing-options static route 10.1.0.0/32]
'next-hop ge-0/0/0.0'
RT: bad next-hop ge-0/0/0.0 -- next-hop ge-0/0/0.0 is not point-to-point
error: configuration check-out failed
If using the interface as next-hop
config fails.
If setting the interface as point-to-point
, it fails.
[edit interfaces interface-range CORE unit 0]
+ point-to-point;
[edit interfaces interface-range CORE]
'unit 0'
Point-to-point is not allowed on ether or ether-over-atm interfaces
Is it bug?
Take a listen to this. Eric Clapton is also on the track, and I think you can pick out a little bit of the descending baseline from โWhile my guitar gently weeps.โ I think itโs an interesting way to interpret/listen to โLet it be.โ
Feels like this should be an unofficial Exmo Reddit vision statement. This last sentence is the linchpin mindset of finally feeling free.

Here in the post description is a short message of what my ink has in it. In a comment below is a full description of what it is and what it means to me โ itโs a little long though.
Looking to fill my underarm with more imagery from this chapter from the Silmarillion โOf the Fifth Battleโ.
So far I have the two big quotes from the chapter โThe night is passing!โ and โday shall come again!โ I also have Hurinโs axe that he wielded, the banner of Turgon attached to the trumpet he blew in the chapter, a depiction of Gondolin, a generic elven sword and a generic elf to represent the forces and weapons used in the Nirnaeth Arnoediad.
Anyone have any ideas of what might fit well with this theme?
Whatever happens with us,
your body
will haunt mineโtender,
delicate
your lovemaking, like the half-
curled frond
of the fiddlehead fern in
forests
just washed by sun. Your
traveled, generous thighs
between which my whole face
has come and comeโ
the innocence and wisdom of
the place my tongue has
found thereโ
the live, insatiate dance of
your nipples in my mouthโ
your touch on me, firm,
protective, searching
me out, your strong tongue
and slender fingers
reaching where I had been
waiting years for you
in my rose-wet caveโwhatever
happens, this is.
Assuming a GoT style 10-episode season, with multiple seasons (since apparently it needs to be outright stated) an entire season leading up to it, filled with optimism and joy as the ties between Men, Elves and Dwarves deepens. Focusing on Gondolin and the other realms that are doing well, hints early on of Maedhros' Union being gathered. Episode 9 is titled "Tears Unnumbered." Alternatively "Nirneath Arnoediad" to keep it a bit vague.
Episode 8 ends with The Sons of Feanor and their hosts taking the field.
Episode 9 starts with the hosts of Morgoth appearing, massive and foreboding. A sense of dread takes over the scene, maybe have some closeups of disheartened Elves and Men and Dwarves.
And suddenly a horn blows, camera pans to the Gondolindrim descending to the battlefield. Cheers are taken up across the Union of Maedhros, "Utรบlie'n aurรซ" and "The Day Has Come! shouted again and again.
Things are looking up for the forces of Good...
and then things get worse.
The Episode ends with Hurรญn at the Crossing, he makes eye contact with the Fleeing Turgon, music reminiscent of Boromir's scene in Fellowship plays, he yells an "Aure Entuluva!" Turgon begins to withdraw.
Camera Hard-Focuses on Hurรญn, chop "Aure Entuluva!" chop "Aure Entuluva!" The music ends abruptly, the pattern continues. The screen fades to black, as the cries of Hurรญn first become muffled before descending into sobs.
Episode 10 opens on the face of a dead Fingon, before another nameless body his tossed on top of the Hill of the Slain.
Unfortunately, I don't have a copy of the Silmarillion in the original language right now, so I can't quote precisely.
I always stumble over the passage during the fifth battle, where Hurin and Turgon discuss the fate of Gondolin and Huor utters his prophecy, about Gondolin being the last resort and a star emerging from him and Turgon.
Then it says, that Maeglin overhears all of this and he "doesn't forget it". He remains silent.
I never get, what Tolkien wants to communicate here. What effect would it have on Maeglin, to remember those words? What does it change regarding his future betrayal? And what would he have to add to the conversation?
Tolkien uses the "not-forgetting-thing" several times in his works, and it always signifies a long held grudge, or a prophecy haunting a character. Here it seems to me, he's just pointing out Maeglin's excellent long term memory.
Please enlighten me :D
Edit: It's Turgon, of course, not Tuor.
Some of the best written and well know books, such as "A Stitch in Time" and many older titles, which are considered classic, were never re-released. Is there a reason for this? Is there some kind of licensing issue? Thanks.
Has anyone seen any good paint schemes four Greyshield themed forces? Iโm looking for some inspiration but canโt find any.
Are there any more notable ones?
I'm leaning towards the answer being no since I haven't been able to find it in any of the config guides, but I thought I'd ask here before settling with that answer.
