UPDATE: I am now permabanned from the sub.
I just got tempbanned from r/westerncivilisation after arguing with a comment saying native Americans weren't civilised and were "2 thousand years behind".
It was in reply to a post in praise of Christopher Columbus: https://www.reddit.com/r/WesternCivilisation/comments/o619dt/christopher_columbus_admiral_of_the_ocean_sea/
Here's one comment that I disagreed with:

So for some reason I get banned, but as far as I know, I haven't broken any of their rules. The sub is supposed to be about "Western Civilisation" and prohibits advocacy of "revolutionism, secularism, progressivism, postmodernism" and other such terms the right typically associates with the left. I have never tried to condone those in that sub, yet for some reason, they decided to tempban me.
After asking their mod for an explanation, I received no reoly.

I was driving along today and saw an entire taman perumahan barb wired. It's totally appalling to see the measures our govt take in the name of preventing the spread of covid. Yes, it's lock down but you can't deny someone from access to basic necessities. It's absolutely draconian and, in my opinion, violates basic human rights. It absolutely saddens me to see how the police are willing to exercise force and abuse the power that's given to them. Some are even rude! Something's really wrong with our culture.
