I bookmarked a fic on a House MD fanfic site from 2006. It was hosted on Tripod, and vanished in 2020. Though the main page was saved on the Internet Archive (http://web.archive.org/web/20061227060040/http://dr-house.tripod.com/id1.html), most of the subpages unfortunately were not.
This is a bit of a long shot, but does anyone here have backups? I'm specifically looking for "Menagerie" by CathyNH (http://dr-house.tripod.com/id46.html). The author also posted on Squidge, but that one isn't on there.
And for everyone who's ever bookmarked fic on an independent website and especially on LiveJournal... LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES. BACK THAT SHIT UP.
As I'm sure you know, archive.org doesn't really show much for tripod pages (I think they deliberately hide them). Someone suggested I check with you guys to see if there might be other archives out there to check. Any ideas?

Hey guys, I’ve been lurking for quite some time as a boxing enthusiastic, and I believe this old forgotten website is a little goldmine for all fans! So today Woot.com has a few tripods that are on sale, namely Sunpak.
I'm familiar with the whole "you get what you pay for" thing with tripods, and I don't plan on trusting a plasticky tripod to hold up my DSLR. That being said, the 61.25" version uses magnesium and aluminum for the tripod build along with a pistol grip and seems to have a generally nice build quality for the price.
Quite frankly, I don't have $400 to drop on a professional-grade tripod so is this a good option in the meantime?
