A list of puns related to "The Mystery Of The Yellow Room"
So much potential and itβs basically just a big tease.
Platform(s): I'm pretty sure it was Apple II
Genre: Adventure mystery. Mostly just still cartoony images with dialog options. You can navigate through the house, but there's no animation between rooms.
Estimated year of release: mid 1980s, I think.
Graphics/art style: Color (yes, it's that early). Cartoony. Kid friendly. I thought it was a murder mystery, but it was too kid friendly I think, to have murder. No full motion video. No 3D. No action. Just still images of the rooms and what was happening in those rooms.
The end is a Pac-Man like chase through a maze, though. It's really short and intense, as the suspect can get away and you lose.
Notable characters: Kids at a party. They're all suspects. The main character I think was a boy with a dog. Maybe I imagined the dog.
The setting is a house/mansion, and there's one or more kids in each room.
Notable gameplay mechanics: Early adventure game. Kind of like Carmen Sandiego, with no action (until the very end, as I said, with the maze chase.) You can to to different rooms, and talk to people, and ask questions. It takes a lot of questions to uncover the criminal.
Other details: I remember the various rooms each had a theme. The only room I remember clearly was an "anti gravity" room, which doesn't exist in real life of course, so it didn't match the rest of the game which was more realistic. I think it had two or three kids floating in the air in that room.
I also remember an "upside pineapple cake" being part of the plot.
If you replay the game, the story is always the same, and the criminal is the same.
Edit:
THE FUNHOUSE CAPER
A Twistaplotβ’ Adventure
"Come celebrate the opening of the Amazing Storybook Room at my Faburama Funhouse," reads the invitation from the fun- house's owner George Goodwin. But when the costume party begins and the jeweled key to the Amazing Storybook Room is stolen, it is up to you and your robot Wesley to solve the mystery and find out . . . whodunnit?
Gathering Clues
As you travel through the funhouse, write down what each party guest you meet is saying and doing. These notes might contain clues that will help you solve the caper.
NOTE: You will have to visit some rooms in the funhouse more than once to discover a clue.
βZappitts" Guests
Your robot Wesley can help you solve the caper by "zappingβ any party guests you meet.
When Wesley zaps a guest, he discovers information about the guest and sto
... keep reading on reddit β‘I was super excited that Vanilla finally dropped after 19547 pulls in the Room of Mystery which made me wonder...how many pulls to complete the the Room of Mystery? How many to complete Pavilion of Fantasy? I just prefer to know what I have to spend in the end.
If someone smokes heavily in a room for years the walls turn dark yellow but where the walls meet the ceiling or another wall there is a definite line that's still white. Can someone please explain like I'm 5 why this happens?

(idk what flair to use)
I don't remember for sure, but I think it's from the nineties. The cover has a picture of the main character and a house, if I recall. I read the book about nine years ago.
So..I finally got to that weird portal in Brachion's Room that has always been just out of reach. And I have to say, it raises more questions than it answers.
There are 2 portals facing each other with a strange table in the middle. Not only that, but the area is surrounded in those weird giant fibrous structures that were outside the Terminus in Destiny 1.
It would seem that the portals are the actual center of this room and not the boss arena itself.
I don't know what to make of it. It could be cut or future content..or maybe even unused? I'm not sure.
Here's a 2 minute video of my findings:

It was a kids book, and I think several girls were on vacation at a lake house. All I remember is they saw a skylight, but there werenβt any rooms in the house with one so they had to find the hidden room.
