A list of puns related to "Swan Lake"
Hi all, I am a complete newbie when it comes to ballet and recently saw the Nutcracker at the Lincoln Center and was totally blown away. I immediately bought tickets to see Swan Lake, which would be my second ballet ever. Spent a pretty penny on nice seats for me and my girlfriend for Valentineβs Day. Unfortunately, just got the email that due to Covid and several dancers getting sick and missing rehearsals, itβs now being changed to Balanchineβs one act version, with option for full refund. I really was looking forward to experiencing the full 4-act ballet and had read the story synopsis and everything. Do you all think itβs worth it to still go, or should I refund my tix and wait to see the real deal maybe next year?
I've never seen it - only read a synopsis. Odette says she will go to Siegfried's ball, but Rothbart is watching, so he has Odile arrive, magically changed to look exactly like Odette. Siegfried and Odile dance the whole night. At the end of the ball he proposes marriage, Odile accepts, and then Rothbart says it was a trick, at which point Siegfried runs to the lake to beg Odette's forgiveness.
Why didn't Odette go to the ball?
(I googled...)
Hello all, does Rothbart himself transform into some kind of bird? He seems to have dark feathers and I've read elsewhere he is sometimes protrayed as an owl?
Asking for design purposes so any insight would be epic.
Okay. I think it's about 15 years ago (when I was in grade 1 or something like that). As I remember it was on Swarnavahini. I cannot remember much but I can remember it had strong Christmasy vibes. It had graphics similar to the Swan Lake (attached)

90's kids in Reddit. Check it out. I'm pretty sure many of you will find the intro nostalgic β€οΈ
Thank you so much to everyone that helped. I found so many old cartoons I used to watch β€οΈ
that was beautiful
Picked up what I think is a Faberge egg. Swan Lake 1990. The necklace is missing, but it's a beautiful thing to have. Just wondering what this thing is worth.
Ive noticed that in fnaf, a piece of music that comes around often is swan lake,
Ive looked into it and i can see some parallels betwen the tale and the games
For exemple the literal scene where they jump into the lake at the end ,
And in the game you do what with old man consequences? Jump into the lake
Also the fact that literally in both stories there is a importance on something hapening betwen 12 am and 6 am
There is more that we could link.
