Hello, fellow Bloomington redditors. As some of you know, I work at the newspaper, and we're getting ready for a special feature on the Summer of '69. For those of you in Bloomington and the surrounding area who were alive then (whether or not you lived here at the time), we'd love to hear your memories of some of the huge moments that took place 50 years ago.
For example... where were you / what were you doing when...
... Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin landed on the moon? (July 20)
... The U.S. first withdrew troops from Vietnam? (July 7)
Other possibilities: How did the following major news events affect your life?
