A list of puns related to "Steed"
So... I'm a Sorcadin mounted on my steed from either the Find Steed or Greater Find steed spell. Then I cast Shadowblade.
If I'm reading the rules correctly both me and my steed each get a shadowblade
and
The steed is proficient with his new shadowblade so he can use it to attack on his turn.
Please tell me if this is wrong.
Ik was Surinaamse jurisprudentie aan het lezen en zag dat er nog vaak verwezen wordt naar Nederlandse uitspraken. Voorbeelden:

... keep reading on reddit β‘Since Tasha's came out, I have wondered if we could use the same approach that the new "summon" spells use for the old "find" spells. Here is a first draft for templates for Find Familiar, Find Steed and Find Greater Steed.
My goal with this homebrew was to make your choice of creature be solely based on flavor rather than needing to consider power level in the options. Hopefully the most important features from the PHB options have been given through the templates. But more importantly, I hope players can choose the best fitting creature companion without worrying about choosing the "weaker" option. Please let me know if you have any thoughts or concerns, this is a first draft and I plan to make further tweaks based on your comments as well as study of the monster manual stat blocks.

Edit: I have done a 2nd draft after these comments and uploaded the new version at the same link.
So, I'm playing an Oath of the Watchers paladin in a Descent into Avernus campaign and I'm about to hit level 5. I was going to pick Find Steed but I just noticed an awkward interaction. Here is my channel divinity:
>Abjure the Extraplanar: You can use your Channel Divinity to castigate unworldly beings. As an action, you present your holy symbol and each aberration, celestial, elemental, fey, or fiend within 30 feet of you that can hear you must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the creature is turned for 1 minute or until it takes damage.
and here is the relevant part of Find Steed:
>The steed has the statistics of the chosen form, though it is a celestial, fey, or fiend (your choice) instead of its normal type.
Does this mean that my channel divinity will turn my own horse no matter what type I choose? If I'm sitting on it, where does it run to? Will it attempt to throw me off? Can I avoid this by deafening it somehow, or do I need to spend an action next turn to try to hit my own horse?
A couple of days ago on highway 101 in Oregon, right as we were approaching the town of Hebo, a pick up truck lost control while trying to pass a car on a curve, in a no passing zone. He fishtailed and slalomed and slammed into us right between the wheel and the firewall on the driver's side. He hit our 2015 JKU hard enough to flip us off the road. We rolled at least twice and ended up turned on the passenger side. Then the bastard drove off without bothering to check if he killed anybody. He was caught later that night and was arrested for multiple charges. Luckily, my wife and I escaped largely unharmed except for some bruises and whiplash. I did spend about an hour hanging by my seatbelt, but we eventually got out safely. Our poor Jeep did not fare so well. The entire driver's side is caved in, the front wheel on that side is torn almost completely off. The rescue crew had to cut the driver's side door and our cargo cage completely off in order to get us out. And you can tell the frame is severely twisted just by looking at it. The poor thing is a total loss. But she managed to keep both of us alive and whole in an 80 mph collision.
The day before she died we got to sleep in our rooftop tent for the first time and earned our first two Badges of Honor. We ran Cedar Tree and Firebreak in the Tillamook national forest.
That Jeep saved our lives. Because of it we managed to walk away from a crash that should have been fatal. The first responder on scene said he thought he was about to find a wreck filled with blood and corpses. So if anybody starts talking shit about how Jeeps break a lot or are poorly constructed, you tell them to mind their damn business and stop talking about things they don't know anything about.
I don't mean to be dramatic. It's been an extremely rough couple of days. Not only was our vehicle destroyed, we were stranded a couple of hundred miles from home in an area where taxis and rental cars are few and far between. And every muscle and joint in my body hurts like hell. Anyways, respect your Jeep, they are tough as hell and might save your life someday.

Iβm playing a level 10 character: 5 Conquest Paladin/ 5 Divine Soul Sorcerer (inspired by Treant Monks Ultimate Spell Sword video) and I wanted to know if this combo would work. Have a steed from find Steed, dash into a big group of melee fights, quicken AOA and cast Blade ward, hope I get hit. If I understand find steed correctly, both spells would be applied to both the steed and I. Which effectively quadruples the AOA temp Hp. Would this work? I think it could be a cool way to take out a cluster of weaker melee users.
