Isn't there a possibility to make a deep bilge/targon deck ? I'm not sure, but we could just go with an aggro deep start with our starting hand and sea monster draw/ creation into targon's late game. What are your thoughts about this ?

Hi all! I read a not very true review of the Starlit Tatting shuttle on Amazon. The writer obviously did not like the shuttle and went so far as to claim that it was "useless" for tatting. The writer did have a valid point about the merchant, but that's a different issue. This is about the place that the Starlit Shuttle can take in a tatter's tool box.

First off, it is a LARGE shuttle. Now, if you're tatting with fine threads, the Starlit is not the shuttle to use. The size of the shuttle requires larger circles and more space to join picots, thus making the shuttle cumbersome. But, if you're using larger threads (Size 10 Crochet, Sizes 3 or 5 Perle, DMC's Petra thread -- a new favorite for me), this is a great shuttle. You can load a lot of thread which enables you to create more than one medallion, or more than 2" of an edging.

As for the point style, on any shuttle its use is somewhat limited. It can be used for joins in most instances, and it can help with picking out mistakes, here again, in limited circumstances. This can be said to be true of any point, unless it's like the mini metal crochet hook on some shuttles (Aero type or Aerlit tatting shuttles) these points/hooks have somewhat limited use. They're not the best for really tight joins (like at the base of a ring), and really bad mistakes. The biggest problem I have with the points is that, depending on the thread, it's too easy to split the thread.

Downside is that, for me, the shuttle is too tight and needs to be sprung, but not sprung too much.

Upside is that the Tatsy shuttle apparently has been discontinued, so this shuttle does fit that niche.

I have over 40 years experience in tatting and have used all sorts of shuttles and I use a variety of shuttles, depending on the thread and the project.

These are two of the Starlit shuttles I own loaded with DMC Petra. I am planning a large project and want to be able to get a lot of tatting done without spending a lot of time winding the shuttle. In this case, the point on the one shuttle should be sufficient for most of the joins I will be making.

Hey guys, I’m Amberstorm and I’m here today to represent the whole of Team Tirnaanor to give you the first official demo release of Starlit Souls, a ROM hack that’s been under development by our small team of friends for the past year now. As of right now, we have 17 maps completed, 14 comprising Act 1 and the other 3 acting as the starting point for Act 2. with a planned total of 32 chapters across 4 Acts. However, due to some real world complications among our writing team that have been going on for a few months now, we have yet to fully complete the script for said maps and likely will not be able to for a while. Being a hack in which we want to focus on the script, we didn’t want to release a gameplay only demo, but still wanted to release something to show everyone.

So, we’ve decided to instead make a compromise and release a 4 chapter demo that covers the beginning of Opal’s tale, with the complete script attached. The game is a bit dialogue heavy and has quite a few references to characters and locations that will be visited later, but we hope readers can still enjoy and keep track of what’s going on. These are really good songs that are very EDM for kpop. It feels like a sadden feeling, but still up beat. Kinda like Allen walker type music.
