I normally buy cones, I suck at rolling. Am I just not hitting it fast enough? If not, I don’t know if it’s possible for just me, I have to hit them so quick to keep them lit. Or could I be packing it too loose/tight? Any tips? I just want to be able to relax with a joint but whenever I light one, it’s either chainsmoke it or it goes out.
i’m a bit of a baby witch, but i’ve just dressed and lit a candle, and it’s been going for a few hours now (but hasn’t yet burned to the sigils i carved in). i’ll have to leave my home shortly, and will likely need to put it out. i’d like to burn it all the way so it can reach all the sigils and affirmations i had carved and painted in. will the intention and manifestation that i’ve put into it remain, or be effective if i put it out? and am i welcome to relight it?

I killed Knight Lautrec got the Firekeeper soul and returned it so the firekeeper is back. But I still can't relight the fire. Can someone tell me why?
I've noticed that a lot of pipe smokers like to dry out wetter blends before they had a chance to properly taste it as is. I urge you to at least try to get a good smoke or two from a wetter blend, before modifying it by drying. My personal belief is that you should only dry tobacco out because you prefers its taste more than when it is wet, but you have to know what the original wet blend taste like first.
First how to tamp, a lot of people including myself get this wrong at first:
- The purpose of tamping is to adjust the draw resistance
- When you tamp, you must puff at the same time, and pay attention to the draw resistance
- keep tamping and puffing until the draw is where you want.
Here is what I do in order to smoke wetter blends without relights or tongue bite, The overall key point pay attention to the draw resistance as you smoke:
- packing style like fold and stuff, 3 step, does not make a difference (in general). Put tobacco in the pipe, tamp it down until the draw has some resistance. The draw resistance is the most important factor.
- light up the tobacco and do strong to medium puffs to get it going. Pay attention to the draw. You will notice that the draw will immediately loosen up again.
- puff and tamp until the draw resistance is up again.
- (Optional) Sometimes for really wet blends, ill light, puff and tamp again, since tamping it the first time may extinguish it a bit
- Now as you're smoking, you will notice that the draw slowly gets looser each puff.
- When it gets decently loose, tamp and puff, so that the draw resistance is restored.
- All blends are different, some blends will go out as soon as a the draw gets a little loose, others can be pretty loose and still stay light.
- personally I like to experiment and find out how loose I can get the draw before it extinguishes. Ill tamp and puff right before that point.
- Most wetter blends should be smoked with slow or steady sips, this is what prevents the tongue bite. You have to determine what the range is before tongue bite occurs, and smoke at a cadence and strength within that range.
- The key is to pay attention to how the draw resistance changes while you smoke.
- How much resistance you want, and how loose you let it get will all depend on your preference, the geometry of your pipe, and the blend.
- Another thing as well, with finer cuts it is easier to control the draw. So for flake styles and such, you may want to rub and break it up a bit more so its easier.

Wondering how I can relight chunks on Minecraft 1.18?
I'm encountering many lighting issues on a world I converted from bedrock to Java. While MCEdit does have an option to relight chunks, it doesn't support newer Minecraft worlds and it doesn't appear that the Amulet editor has this functionality yet.
I've tried the whole "put down a redstone lamp and turn it on" trick but it doesn't solve the issue. I've taken two videos of the issue here and here, and uploaded some images here.

I'm smoking a No. 9 and the burn has gone real sideways and uneven. I've continued to try to relight the unburnt side but at this point the flavor has really gone downhill and the stick is nearly a throw away.
It's got me wondering what the best way to recover from this would have been. Should I have just cut to reset and relit?

Hi all,
I'm having some real trouble getting the look (brightness, gamma, contrast, tone etc.) of my game looking right. It either looks too saturated or too bland; does anyone have any recommended settings and/or mods they'd recommend to improve this? And would you be able to share a screenshot?
I have Relight, Daylight Classic, Ultimate EyeCandy, PostProcess FX and a skybox mod.
