I had to copy the original game ( it must not have the user subfolder, atleast to me and him we didn't have it ), I had to download the downgrader and the spt-aki in a different folder, first extract spt-aki into the folder where you want to install spt-aki and copy the stuff from AkiData INSIDE the spt-aki installation folder THEN launch the repatch ( the downgrader ) and wait for it to end, once it's done you copy the spt-aki installation files ( server and launcher ) and first launch the server, wait for it to be done ( green text appears ) DON'T touch the server once it's loading or in-game, if u touch it u gotta press spacebar and u fix it ( the thing is that it waits for manual input, pressing spacebar is a manual input and u get the server out of the not responding situation ) and then u run the launcher, make a new account and run the game! if anyone has any questions add me on discord! THE PROBLEM :

Let me get this straight :

1. I have purchased the original eft.
2. I have updated it to the newest version.
3. I have copied it into a new folder.
4. I have run and download the downgrader "AKI PATCHER 12.12.11.16440 TO 12.11.7.15680" inside the folder in which I wanted to install spt-aki.
5. I have copied spt-aki to the new folder.
6. I have ran the Server.exe first, both as admin and without, then the Launcher.exe, the server starts, builds the user file ( "Importing database" ) and says happy playing, no other messages appear, I run the launcher, create an account and try to run it ( I already had the .net redistributables ), it runs for one second then it closes itself, live EFT does work, this glitch goes forever, the first time I installed spt-aki ( before the glitch ), it showed me the followings : "SPT AKI SHOULDN'T BE INSTALLED IN LIVE GAME DIRECTORY", which I didn't do, I copied the live version into another folder then did the downgrading and installing spt-aki.

*Some things to note are that 3.5 .net framework doesn't install, i can download but can't install, even tho I already have it ; Do I have to install the 2n

I bought Tarkov way back near the beginning, but it was quite buggy and and I didn't have the greatest hardware. Now I currently have top-of-the-line hardware and just re-installed EFT yesterday.

I watch Tarkov streams, but definitely need some practice to learn the maps before playing live, so after I installed the game, I started the game to get in and go straight to the single-player "offline" mode to get some practice in. But now they have patched the game to where you can't even get into the game to choose single player without waiting in a one to two hour queue with 55,000-65,000 people waiting ahead of you. Are you fucking kidding me?

I was blown away and so fucking pissed that I couldn't even start the game to be able to choose single player without waiting in a queue. So in a nut shell, you're denied playing the game at all without sitting in a queue for an hour or more no matter which part of the game you want to play.

This lead me to look for options on how to bypass the queue to get into the single-player part. I even messed around with starting the game directly from the .exe so that I could choose single-player and not have to deal with the queue. But the game just errors out if you bypass the launcher.

While searching around for alternate ways to get into single-player, I found this mod. With the clear instructions on the SPT website, I was easily able to downgrade my EFT version (after obviously copying the EFT files to another folder for the mod), got the mod installed, and the server and game started the first time without issue.

So, thank you, SPT devs and supporters for making this happen. I just wanted to get in some simple map practice before playing live, and right now you can't do either with the official game. Thanks to mods like this, now we're able to at least partially play the game we paid for.

** EDIT ** I just wanted to add an update that the official Tarkov sub will not allow you to discuss this issue of not being able to get into singleplayer because you're locked out due to the queues. They removed my thread and told me I had to bury the issue in a queue complaint megathread. While I did post in the megathread, I explicitly told the mods that the issue is not about queue times, but being locked out of singleplayer because of the queues. Because my thread even mentions the word "queue", it has to be buried in a megathread.

Many of us went here to find a less stressful experience than live, but even so are there SP raids that went so badly that you have to turn off the game and rest for a while? I just want to vent a little and let people vent too here in this thread.

I was doing an hour long raid with extended raid mod, killed multiple enemies, has full backpack and completed my quest (BP depot), then right before I reach extract my screen becomes complete blackness - the chrome window I opened to check location from quest ate all my RAM, and the game apparently needs the RAM to render the world. So there I was, 50m or so from extraction, being completely blind and unable to find my way to exit. I had no choice but to alt - F4 and stop for the day.

Never again I will open things in background while playing SPT.

Honestly, I installed a few mods and tweaked most of them to be more like live but, stuff like FinAI configs have just been killing me. What have you done to make it feel more like Live, what are your suggestions?

(also someone please give me a somewhat decent finAI config i am about to end myself.)

I'm currently in California, near the bay area and I've been hearing that some hospitals have so many cases, that at this point it's just expected if you go to a hospital for any reason expect to catch it. And while I'm not surprised when it comes to staff who are surrounded by positive patients, and then incoming patients in contact with said staff, does this apply to SPT'S if anyone knows? Using the same lunch room or even just passing other staff in the hallway, what has been your observation if any?

I bought EFT about a week ago and gave the game a try. Super interesting concept and very addictive nature especially when you fail a raid after finding loot that you need- you just want to try again and again until you succeed. However the issue I had was the steep learning curve. This on its own is fine. I've always enjoyed "tough" or "hardcore" games- The Dark Souls series, Path of Exile (an ARPG infamously known for its very in-depth mechanics) on HC Solo-self found mode, Fallout New Vegas on Hardcore mode, you name it.

But the problem with the steep learning curve, in my opinion, is being pitted against players who've played this game for much longer than you and thus have better combat skills, meds management, know exactly where they are and where others spawn, and know where to go ASAP and the time it takes to reach various points of interest from specific spawn points. This makes for a rather unplayable experience for a new player because you often just get killed before making any meaningful progress on a map. If you get lucky enough that you don't die immediately in a fight, you may lose anyway because the other player might have a better gun or aim. I consider myself a seasoned PC shooter player but this game is on another level in terms of gunplay. However accurate I am in games like Apex Legends or Call of Duty is completely irrelevant here.

So, I never got past level 3 on live and tried out SPT. I haven't tried out Fin's AI tweaks just yet so for AI settings I set it to "same amount as live" but make the difficulty "hard". I don't check curse and tagged or scav war or anything fancy. I thought the game would be a cake-walk without actual players. Nope, it's still hard as balls and I can only imagine how much more challenging the aforementioned mod can make it. Here's what I've experienced on my quest to obtain the bronze pocketwatch for Prapor in the "Checking" task:

• I load into Customs on my PMC with headphones, a helmet, vest, tac rig, M4A1, pistol, backpack, meds etc. I'm feeling decked out and strong. I grab the machinery key from dorms and kill any PMCs and Scavs. Easy. I make my way to the tanker by the construction site but run into a scav. I take my aim and shoot but barely miss his head, giving him a haircut. He fires back and injures my torso. Shite, I need to bandage up and heal. I try to get closer so I can just fire without ADSing since for some reason my ADS is garbage even with a holo. I get shot from somewhere else and

I've just purchased tarkov so I can play SPT, I haven't even downloaded the main game yet waiting until I get home. From reading here am I right in thinking an update has gone live for the main game that means I won't be able to play SPT until they update sometime in the future (because I don't have an old copy of the files because I've never played it before)?

Not a complaint, just checking before I go installing the game then try to figure out why something isn't working that I just need to be patient with and wait until SPT is updated.

Edit: verifying tarkov files and then reinstalling fixed the issue.

Since SPT 2.0 my SPT keybindings reset everytime I update my main game, anyone know why?

As the title says, textures have been reverted to their 12.11 appearance.

I noticed this first on PST 9mm ammo, and have noticed it on other textures as well.

This isn't at all game breaking, as upon examination of the item, the model itself is 12.12 correct, but my concern lies in the potential modification of the game that had to take place in order for my Live EFT to show me these old textures.

Here is a picture of what I am referring to. As you can see, the model and the preview texture are different.

I heard on a LVNDMARK stream that BSG was on the lookout for players with modified textures, as it was currently a way to obtain wallhacks/unfair advantages. I would like to ensure that I am not mistakenly banned, as I followed the instructions properly.

I have tried to validate the integrity of the game to no avail. Like I said, this isn't game breaking at all, it just worries me that I may be running the live game with some sort of minor modifications.

Any suggestions at all are highly appreicated.

I copied and pasted the game files from their official installation folder to another one, ran the official game around 4 times and did 3 raids, got the patcher and succesfully patched the AKI installation of the game to the compatible version.

It still says that I dont own the game even though I own the game and the official installation is in the folder thats sitting next to the aki installation in my desktop. Is there no like "Show directory path to your official installation" thing I can do? I dont understand what Im supposed to do, I did everyt solution I could find online.

So I've been doing the the thing with the daily challenges for awhile where you drop the current reward if it wasn't giving multiple donuts. But this also works right now to give gift cards for the holiday event! Must have all the junk...

Ok, so i did some graphics chnages in the spt-aki and i changed the background. And when i went to play with my buddies later that evening my live account had commited the same changes. They are both not on the same hardrive and i have for each of the versions different usernames and passwords. Am i gonna get banned?

I noticed when downloading the patcher that there were other files I could get. Which ones do you recommend using?

Edit: for some reason I can not comment on this post to sort out the issues with the suggestion given. Not sure what to do about that. One suggestion that was given was that I did not copy things over right, I dont understand how as I had everything working fine up until the 12.12 patch that came out. I followed the instructions of the downgrader and that did not work. Everything I read says that you can not run SPT with 12.12 as it is not updated for it. I want to keep playing online so keeping that up to date but want to play SPT without issue, as far as I understand that means playing on 12.11 or earlier. I would like help figuring out how to accomplish getting SPT to 12.11 but keeping the Live files the same. I have two seperate folders already as that is how I got SPT to work in the first place for 3 months without issue. Do I need to just delete the SPT folder and try setting it up again as suggested in the comments? How do I ensure that SPT will be 12.11 if I have to copy over 12.12 files if I reinstall SPT?

TLDR, I have 12.12, AKI patcher did not work, I want to play both EFT live and SPT but I dont care if SPT is an older version.

I am aware that the update for SPT 12.12 is something that can take a long time. So rather than bitching about it not being here, I want help getting an older version from 12.11 to work so I can play SPT when I dont want to play online.

I have been using SPT since October or so of 2020 and never had any issues with the game updating to a point where it wouldnt load. Admitly I do not recall if I actually updated the game, I doubt since I did not play online at the time, but unsure as well if I have autoupdates on.

As of the update to 12.12 as I understand there was a change to the Unity engine or whatever they are using, which has caused an issue that makes SPT unplayable if you have updated the Live client. I would like to play both, I like the 12.12 update and play with friends occasionally however I do still want to play SPT to practice with loadouts, learn maps, spawn locations, etc.

From what I can understand from this reddit and the forums on the SPT page the issue can be resolved through the AKI patcher but I have tried to use that and it did not work. I may be doing something wrong but the instructions arent that clear to me and are only 4 steps so not really sure what I could have done wrong. However while trying to read about this and how to do it properly I saw someone say that if I do this it

-Lab OFFICE#1 & #2, Administrative and Security offices

I farmed the LEDX exclusively from Lab and Customs:

-Zero (0) found on lab so far

-Three (3) found in custom so far, the 3 of them looted from Medical Supply Crates in Fortress 1st and 2nd floors

I'm sharing this to give some perspective to new players coming in to SPT regarding the loot rarity and the loot chance from SPT 2.1.1 w/out mods.

Hey has anyone ever done that yet? If so, did you notice a performance increase at all?

Running FAIT and when bots spawn like around 40 seconds into the raid I get lots of stuttering until most of them are all spawned then my fps stays at around the 30s - 40s. Most noticeable on Shoreline and Reserve, Factory usually stays above 90 at all times. Even if it's like a +15 fps boost and less stutters that'll be so much better for those maps. The mods I have installed are Faupi-HideoutArchitect and MunitionsExpert, Lua-Custom Spawn Points, Thunderbags Responsive Fence, ThatGuy RandomLootGen and of course FAIT, just in case anyone wanted to know.

Hi all!

I'm currently trying to run SPT with Parallels (Windows emulator) on my MacBook Pro 2021 but my game crashes during launch.

I installed everything on Parallels, the server and the launcher both work. I was able to register a new account. But as soon as I launch the game, I see a fullscreen black screen for a few seconds while the mouse shows the loading symbol and then it closes the game and I'm back at the launcher menu (where you can logout from your account or change the password).

I already did a lot of research (many hours of googling the issue) and I've seen that many people had the same problem (on native Windows machines). So it shouldn't be a problem with Parallels. I've tried all the things that worked for other people, such as a completely fresh install of Windows, of the game and of the .NET frameworks or downloading the EFT game files from another user (I've purchased the game btw). Nothing seems to work.

PLEASE, could anyone help me?

Just discovered SPT and have one question. I still play the live game is there a way to be able to play both or is it one or the other?
