The first delay was to the Community (QHD/144) model to Q1 2021. The second delay was for the other two models to February 26, 2021. Now we have the third delay with the Community Model basically delayed an entire year. When will Eve actually ship a product to customers??

I do not want to debate about which side is right or wrong. I’m just wondering why conservatives in the west are way more doubtful of climate change than people on the left. Shouldn’t the preservation instinct of people of conservative nature demand to be more wary of a possible fundamental change to our climate?

The two overwhelmingly strong schools of though that emerged from talking to people were as follows:

1. Liberals and the Labour right (also liberals) do not want change in any form - they want to feel virtuous about pretending to care but they fundamentally won't vote for anything that increases meritocracy for the masses and tackles the housing bubble. Those things are a threat to their status quo.
2. If you do not talk about immigration in any way, shape or form, then socially conservative voters will not listen to a thing you have to say. Often these people have less protectionism from educational qualifications and are in direct competition from overseas workers, but they sadly don't have the luxury of returning 'home' to a weaker economy to get a payoff for exhausting or boring work. Yes, the media have corrupted the debate and hyperbolised the issues, and yes plenty talk absolute bullshit, but there's an undercurrent of something that needs to be listened to. Importantly, THESE are the people that'll vote for an actual left of centre economic manifesto, but if you can't keep your word on the referendum result and do not mention immigration at all then they'll repeat every smear in the media at you until you're being something of a voice for them.

This is an important thing to understand, especially under FPTP. It doesn't mean indulging in dog whistles, it just means having a sensible and fair immigration stance that acknowledges the challenges some people have been facing and also the fact there exists a healthy, sustainable number for our subsidised public services. That doesn't mean demonising immigrants, and it also means, as a counterbalance, properly celebrating multiculturalism and articulating the fact the most multicultural parts of the country are the most economically and socially prosperous. Counter the fascistic rhetoric, but listen to the more grounded and sensible complaints people have voiced.

It doesn't mean "Blue Labour", it literally only means having an immigration policy as part of your pledge. It means being a sensible voice for those that are concerned instead of letting the right wingers own the argument via capitalist divide and rule tactics.

Ok so this has been bugging me for ages but for my fellow dudes on the spectrum: did yall have a «concept of gender» (idk what else to call it) as a child? In psych class we talked about a theory that said part developing gender identity as a kid has to do with what social cues etc we pick up, and it just hit me.

Like, as a young child i didn’t have a concept of gender at all, which is quite common - but even at age 6-7 (when kids typically are more aware of gender) i was just straight vibing and didn’t think of, or understand gender at all. As i got older i eventually figured out that i should probably mimic the girls in my class bc the boys didn’t want anything to do w me, and thats sort of how i got stuck being a girl despite never feeling any sort of connection to that gender at all.

Now considering the theory, maybe i didn’t have a concept of gender as a kid cus i just didn’t pick up on the social cues i shouldve, and therefore no childhood dysphoria really set in bc i was just unaware of gender all together. Does that make ANY sense???? SJDJDJD idk but my main question is: did my dudes on the spectrum really experience gender as a kid?

(Just FYI gender dysphoria didn’t hit me properly until i started puberty at around 10-11 and oh fucking boy did it hit hard)
