At 21:00 local time, a rocket was launched from within the Gaza Strip towards southern Israel. Sirens were sounded in the targeted areas. The Iron Dome successfully intercepted the projectile. There is no physical damage, however, a man was injured while running to a safe place and hospitalized with a head injury in light condition.
Over the weekend, Israeli Forces apprehended four out of the six prisoners who escaped from the Gilboa Prison earlier this week. Two remain at large. One rocket was launched towards southern Israeli cities last night following the recapture of the first two escapees. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) responded with airstrikes attacking Hamas targets.
