... keep reading on reddit β‘I'm just curious. I don't have a company, I was just curious because I recently found out that apparently scientologists bought Neopets.
I dislike the actions of the organization itself and was curious if this would fall under the category of discrimination on the basis of religion in the United States given their status as a religion there that is not the case in other countries(off the top of my head, Germany).
please note this is not in regards to selling to a member of the church, just the church itself.
this is a very dumb brain-addled question. I am rather sleep-deprived.

Are there any former Scientologists here? Or anyone knowledgeable in Scientology?
Please share your knowledge.

Were there other ways of moving up in the ranks besides paying money? Did you have a hard time leaving the organization? I appreciate any info you have to give. Hearing from people with personal experience with Scientology would be extremely beneficial to my research.
If you watch the leaked orientation videos from Scientology it is obviously a real estate time-sharing marketing pitch. They show you all the amazing places you can go, even a cruise ship, if you only donate enough money to the "church".
