Hello sci-fi fans! I'm sharing mine and my husband's sci-fi podcast, Radio Free Mars: Colony Rhea. It's a public access radio show in a very odd little Colony on Mars in the year 2221. It's mostly comedy sci-fi, though we've done as much research as we can on the actual science parts. It's very low budget (no budget?) and we're by no means professional anything, but so far people have enjoyed it and I hope you do too!

Dear [agent],
Sam is at the end of his rope, drowning in debt and about a week away from homelessness. So when he’s accidentally kidnapped by aliens due to a bungled government plot. It didn’t take much for him to get over his initial confusion, fears, and skepticism.
When the discovery team offers to send him back home, he makes a run for it—forcing the aliens to take him with them. After the Captain gets involved, Sam thinks he’s made the deal of the century, and happily agrees to help the aliens with their research on Earth. Since surely, this was all about humans finally getting contacted and welcomed into the wider galaxy. It wasn’t.
By the time Sam finds out he has an appointment with the Judge Supreme—the highest authority in the Sol system—he insists on meeting them right away. Disturbed by the questions being raised, and how humanity might be perceived by the galaxy as a result. He is determined to set the record straight, and prove humans deserve to take their place among the stars.
However, a violent confrontation might be unavoidable. At least at this rate. The status quo may no longer be enough to guarantee Earth’s safety.
THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING HUMAN, is complete at 94,000 words. The book will sit well with titles like ‘The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet’ by Becky Chambers for the hopepunk vibe, and ‘The Last Human’ by Zack Jordan for the worldbuilding. The story is essentially Star Trek, meets Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, meets The Office (of course, with a twist).

Thanks for reading. I really do love the feedback, & its all been super helpful. Let me have it!
Hello! This is my first attempt at a query letter for my comedy book. Thanks in advance!
Also, the query doesn't include any title comps at the moment. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be glad to hear them!

Dear [AGENT],
[Personalized querying reason]
Even in a world with holograms and flying cars, Rayland Cooper’s strange condition has no cure. Stress causes his hands to shake—if not controlled in time, they go rogue and try to murder him.
Yeah...
Rayland has left the mental institution insecure and afraid of everything. He keeps a monotone job at Brightec, the leader in technological innovation. Their products are flawless—until now. In an attempt to create a collective dream, Helen Pool, the CEO, seems to have trapped herself inside her own head.
Panic expands through Brightec’s headquarters, and no one knows what to do—that is, until Rayland finds a way to sneak into Helen’s Dream, in hopes of uncovering her fate. He doesn’t know this short visit will spiral into a journey through the building, revealing secret truths about the project and delving into the CEO’s mind.
Rayland’s no adventurer and security at Brightec is nothing short of tough. A single mistake could land him back in the mental institution. Could he save Helen? Can he even handle the stress?
His hands are already shaking...
Complete at 75,000 words, HELEN’S CRAZY DREAM is a comedy science fiction that mixes unique concepts with humorous absurdism.
I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and I’ve gone through the challenge of writing a book in my second language. This would be my first published work.
Thank you for your consideration,

Sometimes there are audio dramas that are just too big to ignore. Sometimes I put them off for a bit; try to focus on the lesser-known shows. Eventually, however, something will force my hand and I just have to give them a listen. If only to see what all the fuss is about. So it was when I decided to listen to We Fix Space Junk.
We Fix Space Junk takes place several centuries in the future. Samantha Trapp is the heiress of the incredibly wealth Trapp Mining Company. However, she's recently been disinherited and is now millions of dollars in debt to Automnicon. They're a megacorporation that owns...basically everything in the Milky Way Galaxy. In fact, pretty much everyone is a debt slave to them. Most of people spend their entire lives working off debt they own to Automnicon. Oh, and you can inherit debt from family members. Fear, not, Samantha has been assigned to an excellent partner. Kilner is an experienced repairwoman, and a cyborg, who has worked numerous odd jobs over the years. She's the perfect person to show Samantha the ropes. Together they shall travel the stars and complete all sorts of odd jobs and repair jobs.
Now, I’m not quite sure how big We Fix Space Junk is. But the Apple Podcast App constantly recommended it to me, so it is a big name audio drama to me. I’d know about it for a while, but what finally motivated me to give it a listen was when We Fix Space Junk followed me on Twitter. Obviously, they have excellent taste in audio fiction reviews...or were possibly fishing for a review. Of course, the two are not mutually exclusive.
Though just a note, if you want me to review your audio drama, the best way to guarantee that happens is the direct approach. Message me here on Reddit, or comment on one of these posts I make. I’m also active in the Audio Drama Lovers group on Facebook. You can find and message me on Twitter, or message me via my Facebook fan page, Sam McDonald’s The Audiophile. Point is, there’s a lot of ways to directly contact me. But anyway, back to We Fix Space Junk.
As a British science fiction comedy there’s an inevitable comparison to shows like The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy and Red Dwarf. In fact, series creator Beth Craine is adapting the podcast into a series of books, just like what happened with Hitchhiker’s Guide.

A funny story about the universe, and living in it.
Science Fiction, Comedy, Hopepunk - 80,000 words
The Galactic Union spans millions of worlds, has reigned for a billion years, and has successfully maintained the Pax Galactica just for under 10,000. After a series of close calls and complaints, they are finally sending another Discovery mission to Earth, 150 years earlier than scheduled. Their mission: find out what the hell is going on down there.
Which means poor Sam must go on an adventure, which was the last thing he wanted to deal with that day. However, getting six spec ops assault rifles pointed at him, made the choice easier. Rescued by an automated system, he is whisked away from his modest life on Earth, much to his initial joy. When the aliens offer to send him back and forget about the whole thing, he makes a run for it. No way he’s going to get left behind! He’s on a fucking spaceship! So while the Endeavour’s crew are hardly happy having him tag along, they are forced to bring him to the proper authorities. After all, there is a Protocol to follow.
Sam is blissfully unaware of all this. Now on his way to the Sol Waystation orbiting Jupiter, now he only wants to make himself useful to the aliens—so he can stay out in space and travel the stars forever. Even better, or so he assumes, this must surely mean the Galaxy is (finally!) knocking on Earth’s door. So he’ll do whatever it takes to help his alien hosts get started on First Contact, as soon as possible. Earth desperately needs the help! Or so he believes.
What he doesn’t understand yet, are the bigger political issues at play. Or the process that must be followed, as he makes his journey to see the Judge. The Iovians demand answers, which means evidence is needed. Evidence Sam is only too happy to provide, at first.
The thesis of this story is to show, how anthropocentric thinking and human exceptionalism, distorts our view of the universe (e.g. our importance to it), and therefore how it often distorts the basis of our moral value system (e.g. how we treat others because they are different). This is done by proposing a very specific explanation to the Fermi Paradox as the setting.
Comparable titles tackling the same questions, albeit with very different interpretations, would include: The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet (Wayfarers Series, Book #3 published 2018), and The Last Human by Zack Jordan. Aesthetically speaking, the book

The characters are engaging and entertaining, and I’m always eager to see what their adventures they’ll have next. We Fix Space Junk is best described as a sitcom with an unusual setting, but that isn’t afraid to have more serious moments as well. That, and the setting is actually surprisingly dark if you stop to think about it. Of course, most episodes are so fun and humorous that you can easily ignore how dystopian the future of We Fix Space Junk is.
Allow me to elaborate. At some unspecified point in the future, Earth was hit by a massi
