A list of puns related to "Thrilling Wonder Stories"
After doing an (unnecessary) poll I can tell this sub would humor my story of new far off lands and thrilling encounters (like the age of exploration minus the exploitation of local people) if you have gotten tired of these butt-ins then I recommend stopping now because thereβs going to be plenty of these as I ramble on like an angry renaissance era playwrite. And yes, the sections are numbered.
I think thatβs what you call this bit anyways, the bit where I fill you in on where I was at before the events in the story. I started on the small island in valguaro (hope I spelt that right) and set up base around a some ruins with a smithy equipped and ready and six dinos. A high level para named Honda that I use to beat the shit out of passive animals, a pheomia I keep as a pet, three dodos for tasty eggs, and a newly tamed ank (go sub to r/ankmemes). With all of this and a crudely expanded raft, the SS Redwood I decided I should do some more exploring and see whatβs out in the world, so I set out to the southwest.
After taming a dilo, moschops, and lystro on a beach by the cliffs I continued down the waterway until I reached the end, one bank had a herd of horses and two allos (which chased something into the water) and the other had more passive creatures and a tunnel that I knew could have an iguanadon at the end (thanks to goofing around with a friend) I made some quick prep, a saddle, two sleeping bags, and a bola I went down the tunnel. At the end was two paras and a scorpion, which I decided was worth the tame. After uneventful knocking it out I pondered how to tame it, since I prepared for an iguanadon not a scorpion. I know you probably expected more drama, and clearly two raptors though the same as they appeared from who knows where (maybe from off the cliffs in that area) one raptor was easily knocked out while the other took more convincing and my health but by the end both where unconscious. After butchering one of the raptors I split up the meat between the two and ran back to the raft to avoid being eaten by whatever else was around with my heart pounding so hard you would have thought I was actually attacked by a pack of raptors. After coming back on not-quite-horseback I found that the raptor was already tamed and the scorpion was very dead, which probably had something to do with the lone troodon plodding about like he was the king of the world before I ran him over with Honda. At first I was quite s

So when I mention certain dialogs, I will translate them back to English rather than finding the original sentences in the English novel. Please forgive me on my laziness.
This idea is inspired by a Chinese post cite. I'm doing a summary and translation here. I'm not sure whether people already guess this way on reddit. I did a rough search and didn't find it. So I decided to translate it and share with you guys. And I'd like to see how you think about it. Is there any bug in this settings or so.
It's always a mystery to me that
So the guess is Grindelwald is telling the truth. He never really owned the elder wand. Neither did Gregorovitch. Like how Harry and Voldemort didn't know their family members have the invisibility cloak and the resurrection stone, Dumbledore also d

Hey, I wanted to start a thriller with an action-filled chapter. But it will follow with backstory and the first chapter will not be revealed until the story gets to that point, I am calculating it won't be up till the climax. So my concern is if I offer a hook and follow with backstory, will the reader find itself cheated, or am I just overthinking about it?
Sorry if this is a boring post haha.
I'm the one who posted the other day asking for cool facts/easter eggs about the storytelling in the PT, and spent a good 20 mins after the movie explaining many of them to my boyfriend.
As for him watching the films, it went incrediblely well. He loved a lot of the characters, and even Jar Jar, who I was worried he'd hate. He became weirdly attached to Jar Jar through the trilogy.
Best part hands down was seeing him cry during RotS. When Padme comes to Mustafar to see Anakin and Obi-Wan comes out of the ship, I look over and he's wiping tears away. Then again during Obi-Wans whole "you were the chosen one!" speech.
Really what I'm trying to say is that it was just so satisfying to show these movies to someone and have them really enjoy and invest in them. Especially someone who spends much time on the internet and other places where many people try to discredit these films. It didn't affect his viewing in the slightest.
On to the original trilogy next.
The Bodyguard - In which Hermione is Minister for Magic, Harry is Head Auror, and nothing goes according to plan.
Just really good plot, good scheme, heart racing attempt to pull it off. Good writing and characters you get attached to.
Thank you so much and I can't wait to get started π
