Walked outside to see a bunch of SWAT team members walking through the neighborhood with armor. There are a bunch of cops parked with their lights off and a few more checking a BMW parked in the middle of the street with flashlights. Both entrances are blocked from getting in. Any ideas about what's going on?
Update: Cops called a tow truck and towed away the BMW they were searching earlier. There were a couple girls walking away with the SWAT team (not cuffed). Shortly after that, all the cops/SWAT left and blockades were cleared.

Hi y'all, I'm a mod of /r/diysound but I think you'd appreciate this information since it's a car audio sub (that I was not going to use for car audio).
I've been browsing various 15" subs on the internet since the ones I want are out of stock and I came across the https://www.rockvilleaudio.com/w15k6d2-v2/ . w15k6d2 v2 (placing this here for google keywords in case someone searches for a post like this)
ON PAPER it had decent motor force, xmax, sensitivity, mms. Everything I look for in a decent subwoofer. Unfortunately I ordered one and the specs are way off. instead of the qts being 0.6, it's a whopping 0.93 lol. mms is 322 instead of 271, LE is damn near DOUBLE what they specify (4.0 instead of 2.7).
Essentially this all adds up to meaning that above 50hz you lose a LOT of output compared to what you modeled.

The one spec that does seem to be accurate is the xmax spec, it may not be linear, but it definitely seems like it hits at least 20mm one way xmax.

Hi! I am thinking about buying a home for the first time. I was trying to figure out property taxes in MD, and if I'm understanding correctly, it seems like if I bought a home in Rockville, I would be responsible for paying property taxes to MD, Montgomery country, and Rockville. Is that right? That seems crazy. Definitely appreciate your patience with me if this a stupid question. Maybe if some one could offer an example of what my annual property taxes would like assuming a hypothetical house for $200K, as of today.

I picked up a T-Mobile 5G Gateway. I was told by the person I chatted with on-line at T-Mobile that this Gateway would solve my crappy internet that I have with my current ISP. Coverage map shows I have "5G extended" in my area.
I got home and set up the 5G Gateway. No matter where I place it in my house I get a max of two bars, sometimes 1 bar, and when I do speedtest.net I get basically nothing, if it hits 1 Mbps it's by accident.
I contacted tech support on the phone, they had me restart several times and said it needed to reconfigure for my local tower. My local tower is one of two nearby towers about 1.85 (3km) from my house. When I leave my house I make a right out of the driveway toward the main road a mile down and when I reach the main road I can see both towers straight ahead across the open fields.
I plugged a 110V converter into the 12v power port on my car and took the 5G Gateway out around the rural area I live to check out the bars and speeds. I got to the end of my 300 ft driveway and I was getting 35Mbps and two bars, as I got closer to the end of the road I was getting almost 100Mbps with two bars, this was a mile down the road from my house.
Here's where it gets frustrating, as I drive back down to my house and turn left into the driveway, I'm getting great speeds with the Gateway sitting on the front seat of my truck, but as I drive down my driveway and get closer to the house (I'm no longer driving away from the towers, rather parallel), my speeds drop to 12Mbps with 2 bars when I park in the driveway in front of my house.
I walk 50 feet to my house, go inside and the bar maybe stays at two or drops to one, and the speeds go to nearly zero. I'm not joking, 0.20Mbps is zero!
I moved the 5G around to every window in my house and checked the speed and bars. What I found was if I pulled down the upper window on the first floor office and balanced the 5G Gateway on the frame (or held it out the window) I would get 8 to 10 Mbps, but as soon as I closed the window and set if at the same spot inside, the speed dropped to almost zero. Sometimes the speedtest failed to run at all with the window closed. Reopened the window and maybe got 5-7 Mbps at the exact same spot.
Another time I placed it on a bench on my front porch and got 12.5 Mbps, but later I set it on the bench in the same exact spot and couldn't get 2 Mbps.

Not sure where to start.
They’re not letting anyone in (I guess because of their COVID outbreak that others reported). That means you can’t use their ATM, so you better have cash ready since they are the ONLY dispensary in the Bethesda/Rockville area I’ve found that doesn’t do cashless payments.
They have one walk up window with a line of patients standing in the cold, while a bunch of employees were just hanging out inside watching us through the window. After 15m in the cold with the line moving ONE customer I bailed and will make an effort never to return.

Situation: My gf’s navy friend has come to visit us, we live in an old apartment complex in Rockville. They don’t allow visitor parking for more than 3 days, which is a problem since she hasn’t seen her in years and we were hoping she could stay till New Years.
