Redeployment Puns

I tried using Monarch and I was only able to use her upgrade core once and after that the game ended. It seems like reaching an upgrade takes a long time so it has to be permanent right? Like after reaching upgrade 2 then dying, the next titanfall she would still have that upgrade.

During a recent game, I tried to use Rapid Redeployment but was told it got FAQ'd to only affect 1 unit I stead of 3. I was watching a Battle Report that was just released a few days ago, and the Ultramarines player used it and moved 3 units I wasn't shown the FAQ and since I'm visually impaired, I wouldn't be able to read it anyway.

I looked a bit, but couldn't find anything current. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there! I'm managing an organization-wide PXE-based redeployment project, and this time, there were a few special requests to go along with the refreshes, specifically, altering the default background for every Windows 10 Pro (and up) machine in this round of reimaging.

Some background: This is taking place in a full AD environment that (at the moment) has both Azure AD and local Active Directory. They're running MDT and WDS on the PXE side of things, and every machine is running Windows 10 Pro or Enterprise. There are onsite Windows Servers that handle everything from certificates to print services to file storage.

Changing the background for all these machines should be easy -- there's a Group Policy Object for just that -- but that sets the background and then prevents further changes. The same goes for the sister node in Azure AD. Even WICD (which has a dedicated Background configuration option), sets the background and then stops modification until the provisioning package is removed. The only feasible way that I've found is by altering the unattend.xml file deployed with the Task Sequence, which I only assume works at all because it doesn't set Group Policy or modify the registry whilst setting up the operating system for the first time. This XML-based approach has the unfortunate side effect of more effort on the backend, and a requirement for a custom WIM image with the background assets already baked-in. At the end of the day, this is a technically valid solution, but the lock screen can't be changed in this manner, and I'd really like to opt for a cleaner or more modern solution.

I wouldn't have made this post unless I checked every other avenue exhaustively, including repeated testing with WSIM, WICD, Azure, and GPOs. Googling also has no help -- every option stops the user from changing the background after it's been set through any group management utility. The only thing I have left to possibly do is to replace the actual wallpaper files themselves in the Windows folder through another custom WIM image.

If anybody can offer some help or point me in the right direction, I'd really appreciate it. I seriously wish I could just set the background and have it static for everybody, but allowing people to have their pets or family members onscreen instead of just a blue Windows logo or company logo is important to people.

So, not sure how apt this is for this subreddit, but I worked in mental health. Have done for around 8 years, and yes, the past tense of that is relevant.

I spent 8 years getting knowledge in that field, working hard, and doing fairly well at it. Then Covid hit. Then not long after that, my ward closed down. I got redeployed to a Learning Difficulties unit. Forensic Learning Difficulties, specifically. Then just a few months later, that got closed down, and now I have been working on a brain injuries ward.

I feel like the nursing equivalent of a toddler with a plastic hammer trying to help a buolding company. It's not that I don't know healthcare, but it's that I don't know this particular part of healthcare. Whoever decided to shift me from mental health to general nursing is... I'm baffled. Absolutely baffled. I am stuck here, feeling like I have no idea what I am doing, and don't know whether to stick it out, or ask to move back to my comfort zone.

I have battled for this job, and to keep working. I've had some hard times and fought through them to stay within the NHS. Now, I don't know if I even want to be here. At the very least, I think I need help and support. I guess what I really need to ask is...

Has anyone else made a similar shift? And those who have, do you have any advice for me? It's just such a big shift in work, I don't know what I am doing half the time. One of my old coworkers came to the new unit with me, but he moved back out of it within a week. Back to mental health. Not sure if I made a mistake in staying here or not.

Just wanted to throw this out there. Has anyone else ran into a questionable gulag redeployment? Got a team wipe on a duo today and before even finished the second guy off, they first one redeployed. It could not have been more then 10 seconds. I know for a fact it was the same guy as well. Then his teammate came back just as fast. How is this possible?

Deep in the snowy forest of the Nunavut territory,Canada, the Phantoms slowly pace the silent woods.

Anti glanced to her right,as her ears perked up,it was just a squirrel.

Anti looked much different now,her hair was now longer and flowed down her shoulders,she gained a little muscle mass.

Ryan on the other hand,looked pretty much the same,maybe his hair changed,it looked much more ruffled and worn out.

Ryan held his fist up,signalling a stop.

"Alright,we'll rest here for a while He said as he tried to reach out to the Phantoms Canada branch.

"Firebase, come in Firebase, this is Orion,Sector 5-19 is clear"

As he said that,a grenade rolled past Anti and next to Ryan's feet.

"Fuck!Not clear,Not clear!" He yelled as he jumped back.

The force of the grenade hit Ryan hard,he was lucky he had some armor on him.

Several Ghost operatives appeared and fired upon the Phantoms, who tried to fight back,but Ryan was already injured,so they had to simultaneously attack and defend.

"Scramble!" Ryan ordered as he threw down a smoke and 3 flashes.

As the Phantoms broke up into smaller squads,the grenades detonated, blinding the Ghosts.

"So much for wanting a fight..."A ghost said.

"Calm down,Dail,we'll kill em soon enough "

The ghosts broke away and went into camouflage once more

A few hours had passed, Ryan fell to his knees,Anti tried to push on but she was too fatigued to carry on.

"Lets...find a place to hide..." Anti suggested.

Ryan complied,his injuries weren't healing at this rate.

They soon found a cave and hid inside,the moss out at the entrance hid them well,and by morning the snow would have covered their tracks.

Ryan took off his vest,the grenade had done some significant damage,it was now slightly dented,and reeked of burnt shrapnel.

Ryan also took off his shirt,small bits of metal were lodged in him.

Ryan winced as he pulled one out ,then proceeded to place a plasma knife over the wound,effectively cauterizing it.

"Here,let me do it for you..."Anti said as she took the blade from Ryan .

Anti tried her best not to make Ryan feel too much pain,but it still hurt,it hurt her even more to see him in pain.

Anti glanced around Ryan's body,scars had destroyed the quality of his skin,Anti moved her hand and ran it over a scar at Ryan's forearm.

"You'll never stop getting hurt,won't you?"Anti said as she brushed her hand over several scars.

"No,I don't think I will.."Ryan said as he turned to face Anti.

HI,

In our Client project we have 6 applications , Three Java and three .NET. We have the code in the same repository in different folders for each app.

The case is that we need to compare the artifacts which is being built with the previous builds to know changes are made or not.

If changes are made then deploy it else Do not deploy it.

Also, based on the apps. Say if I work on the One Java and one .NET app, I will want to deploy only these two and rest four apps need not be deployed unnecessarily.

How can we achieve this without manual intervention? Please suggest us with a solution.

This happened in 2006. I was in the US Air Force and deployed individually to Iraq (not with a unit). At the end of my rotation I also took the rotator back by myself. It was a commercial 747 the military paid to take a bunch of us to the US. Back then, we'd typically wear our uniforms, even on commercial flights. The guy in the seat next to me was similarly redeploying and also in his uniform. This was usually never a problem because Americans were typically very kind to Servicemen in their uniforms in public. (I cant say how it is now because that was a long time ago.)

We had a layover in Rammstein, Germany and civilians began boarding. These were mostly wives, children, and other dependents of those deployed to Europe. It had to be obvious those of us already on the plane were coming back from deployment. We were in desert patterned camo, glassy-eyed from mental and physical fatigue, and generally stunk of burn pit.

Well, this woman with a baby comes right up to my seat and announces that we are in her seats. The other guy needs to move too because she wants to put her kid there. We were both kind of bleary and just stared at her in surprise. I didnt care where I sat, but the stewardess hurries over and says the flight is full and they cant reseat us.

This woman shoves her ticket in the stewardesses face and says it clearly shows my seat number on her ticket. She wants to kick me and my seatmate off the flight. Clearly, she was more entitled to it than us. She flips her s*** right in the middle of the plane and goes off on the stewardess.

I stayed seated more out of shock than stubbornness. I'd been awake for longer than I cared to think about by that point, and I was not reacting quickly to anything. I guess my seatmate was in the same boat, because neither of us said a single word to her or moved a muscle at all. We just watched her make an ass of herself in front of all these gawking passengers. She ended up getting herself kicked off the flight.

In all, it happened rather quickly, but it still stunned me. The trip from Iraq to my home station was already going to be several days long, and she thought nothing of forcing me and that other guy off just for her convenience.

I dont know why she popped in my head today, but I can't imagine being married to that.

His eyes slowly focused on the white object on his chest,then realised it was just Anti.

"Good Morning,Kat" Ryan said cheerfully

"Good Morning,Sweetheart"Anti responded,as she produced a purring noise.

Anti looked into Ryan's eyes and smiled,his calm brown eyes warmed her soul and his sweet smile,something Anti would never tire of looking at him.

For awhile,the two stayed in bed,their arms wrapped around each other.

Soon after a short shower, Anti made some breakfast and they ate heartily.

Ryan later went out,"I'm gonna bring pretzel out for a walk"

Ryan whistled for his husky,who jumped up and barked excitedly.

Ryan opened the door and took a deep breath of the sweet countryside air,ever since his he and Anti resigned,they decided to live out of the city,away from the bustling city life ,all to live peacefully and alone.

As Pretzel walked back with a stick he dropped it and looked behind him.

Ryan followed Pretzel's line of vision,and saw quite the scene.

A convoy of jet-black armored vehicles approached the house.

Pretzel barked at the convoy. "Go get Kat,Pretzel."Ryan ordered,Pretzel ran inside and barked.

Anti walked out with a pistol and katana.

Anti passed the katana to Ryan,and the two waited as the vehicles came to a stop infront of them.

Toben stepped out and waved his hand,Anti let out a sigh of relief,"Oh..Toben,how are you?"

"Hey Sis,we need you guys to come back to HQ" Toben said.

30 minutes later,they touched down on the concrete steps of HQ.

"Heh...Good memories here.."Ryan said.

Anti smiled and opened the door.

"Jacob?" Anti said ,

There in front of her, stood the familiar figure along with her daughter.

"Yeah...its me again,Commander Rinaiko." Jacob said.

"Jacob,you're back!" Ryan spoke.

"Alright gang,let's get down to business "

Miles said as he walked in.

So the old gang got back together,and for the first time,the team reunited for the redeployment of the Phantoms.

"We've detected more Ghost activity, so we've gone fully operational again" Tac said.

Anti nodded,once again,she was looking forwards to the thrill of the battlefield.

"Pack your guns,we've got our first mission "Toben said as he passed Ryan an AK-12.

"Well then,Phantoms.."Ryan said,"The hell are we waiting for?Let's roll!"

does the game tell me by how much the redeployment cost is reduced overall? im talking about all the recuctions counted to together so i know if its reduced by 75% or whatever the number may be

During the noble war, my first crisis this playthrough, my mediocre band of brothers keeps getting obliterated on a huge battle contract since I had a stupid loadout from fighting something like unarmored nachzehrers previously and now I've got to chew through hair-pulling amounts of shields and armor using terrible swords and cleavers. In my inventory I have maces and hammers. When I reload the game using the alt-f4 save scummer autosave I'm locked into interacting with the "To Arms!" prompt to start the battle, and can't figure out how to get into swapping around weapons.

I've played the battle out five or six times with cleavers and swords and I cannot win. I'm fine admitting I messed up bad enough to lose my playthrough but sadly this isn't the first time I've spaced out before a noble's war battle with subpar loadout that almost ruins a playthrough but the last time my soldiers were way stronger and could push through despite my mistake. This feels like a really unsatisfying and cheap way to lose.

Is there any way to allow access to my inventory to gear my brothers better before the big fight?

I’m coming home from Germany. I’ve been here for 9 months where I have been restricted to the base due to COVID. I’m so tired of talking to the same people and doing the same thing every day. I can’t wait to get home and be able to drive and be an adult again. Just looking to chat with anyone who is feeling a little down.

I would love a single-use version of the Chinook redeployment ability. I can't think of any problems off the top of my head, but providing early-game access to something that's currently pretty expensive might cause some balance issues. Would be interested to hear some of the community's thoughts on the idea.
